- For her famous Autumn/Winter 1993-1994 collection entitled "Anglomania," British designer, grande dame, & one-time Punk Rocker, Vivienne Westwood, created her own tartan: "MacAndreas" (The Scottish Register of Tartans, Ref. No. 7489). The tartan was woven by Lochcarron of Scotland & named after Vivienne's husband, Andreas Kronthaler.
Supported by a cast of all the top models of the time, this now-vintage & seminal collection, the second in a series that spanned from 1993 to 1999 (the first being "Grand Hotel" for Spring/Summer 1993, which preceded "Anglomania" by a season), is Vivienne Westwood at her best.

I don’t like the influence her husband has had on her designs in the past years.
This collection is so amazing that it still blows my mind today. I love the music, love the pose and the look given by the models, and, most of all, love every detail of Westwood's designs. Masterpiece!
Shuo Lee the collection was shown at a time when everyone else was doing grunge.
Now this is FASHION! Each and every one of the outfits were sumptuous, fantastical, and out of a mad dream. The models-my God-the models were fantastic with their poise and confidence, their poses and saunters. They even modeled with their faces! They were more theatrical actors than mere clothes hangers. I hate to be so sadistic, but I kept waiting for Naomi’s infamous fall.
She made women feel so beautiful, and onlookers feel uplifted by the beauty ❤

We forget that Linda, Christy and even Kate walked in this show because the only highlight we ever see is Naomi gracefully falling and getting back up like the pro that she is.

So we’ve all seen clips of Naomi’s fall, but it was edited out from the fashion show vid, but if you notice, in the edited vid she’s holding a cane and she’s wearing a pearl choker. Did they re-shoot her entrance?

It wasn’t at the emd lmao. She fell and then she wanted to repeat the walk again. They gave her a stick for her to balances off if she needed but as u can see she wanted to show she could do it without help
@@Marco-el2he She had the stick in show 1 because she wasn't confident walking in those high heels, but she didn't take the stick out in show number 2, that was when she tripped up, if you look at the people on the left as she comes out with the stick and again in the slow-motion clip they are different people.
Naomi didn’t fall from the shoes she fell from the being made of rubber which made her legs get caught when they rubbed together

It's amazing how this has dated. I do remember when this collection was shown in 1993 and it was amazing. Still looks impressive but the clothes are not as grand as they once were.
