    Most of the people do this exercise for traps, but i think the form you said won't engage traps. How much it is correct?

      I think in upright we are elevating solders with slightly banded elbows and in front raise elbows​ - hands moment will be straight...

    Very good. This is why olympic lifter do variation of cleans.
    And do not shrug the traps at the top end.
    At the top end, the shoulder must rotate externally, scapula retracted and pulled down.
    Mimic the lifting style of olympic clean, but lower the bar slowly, otherwise, suffer tennis elbow.
    It is easy to pull heavier weight, but difficult to lower that weight slowly.
    So practice upright row with the weight that you can lower slowly.
    And always wide grip. Just outside shoulder width.

    You mean bar away from the body while rowing ... I like to mention that it's not possible with the heavy weights ... And you didn't talked'bout the elbow position...
    I saw when you demonstrating your elbow is following your wrist ..
    But the actual thing is your wrist should follow your elbow...
    Guys always pull the elbow up the wrist will automatically choose the sweet spot ... Your wrist must not go up then the shoulder joints .... Hope I explained perfectly...

    Can we used curl rod in this exercise......nd can we perform differnt variation of this exercise in differnt set....each variation one set....since in second variation as i go fr heavy weights i m unable to do so

    jeet bhi ap weight ko body sy away kar rahay hain which is not safe injury kay chace bhar gatay hain. kyu keh weight ap sy jitna dur ho ga usy hold karna utna hi mushkil ho gaye ga.

    So far I've seen 3 videos on how to Upright rows and all of them gave different ways to do or not to do this exercise. AthleanX straight up threw this exercise in garbage bin and said not to do this because this exercise is bad for the shoulders in all of its variations. We Are Stupid channel said to keep the bar close to the chest and not to pull it up away from the body which Jeet said to pull it up while away from the body for easier motion. *Facepalm*

    Guys watch athlean x videos on this topic. Jeff Cavalier athlean x. 7.1 million subscriber. He’s probably by far No.1 fitness trainer on UA-cam and physio therapist.
    This exercise sucks at all levels.
    You are internally rotating your shoulder joints while lifting weights against gravity. Pure recipe for shoulder impingement.
    I mean why the heck do you have to do this exercise anyway? When there are tons of different shoulder exercise available.

    This exercise is kinesiology incorrect. Guys target collar which is nothing but upper trapezius. Function of upper trapezius is shoulder elevation& neck extension but in this exercise only shoulder abduction & elbow extension happens which is not the function of upper trapezius

    Sir bhut bdi preshani hai iss set ko karne me vo ye ki.. Koi bolta hai aapne elbow ko shoolder se upar le jao or for arm vale joint ko niche raakhe.. Isska shi trika jo aapne bataya vo hai ya kissi or bhi tarike se isse kr skte hai..

    Door rakh ke lagaya to front raise ho jayega fir to kya faayda traditional method is best for good result. Log weights daal lete hain bhar bhar kar aur for exercise ko ban kar dete hain. Weights utna hi dalo jitna handle ho sake to sab barabar rahega

    Brother neck exercises and gaining for muscle-building but i am goes to the gym unfortunately after one month in my body has suffering from fever cold cough throat infection they same are repeated even though i started the exercises i take fry chicken in the market boil eggs and homemade oats with milk and after lunch take 6 chapattis with daal and any kind of vegetable sabhji and then night in the dinner i use the same as well as in the lunch
