That’s so crazy how you develop so many projects in such little time!
OMGG, everything about this is incredible. Those voice actors, animators and sound designers made the characters and world feel so alive. All of Mel’s videos feel like snippets of feature films, they’re so eloquently edited!

I feel like Maelin Mae Lynn May Lin Mei Ling Mei Lin names are getting super-trendy now.
When European characters get named this, I will give that a pass since it's a cultural practice to use the same name over and over again.
When Chinese characters get named this, I completely laugh it off. I think it's because too many non-Chinese people, Chinese names sound very bad to the ear, and feminine names don't sound very feminine. Likewise, non-Chinese/foreign names written in transliteration for Chinese speakers sound very long and difficult to remember. The English-to-Chinese translator may use more feminine characters which help in revealing the gender of the personal name, though.
So as a result, guess what? Almost every Chinese character that appears in Western literature canon gets named Mei Lin(g) of some kind.
My character Maelin isn’t Chinese. I’m not sure what led you to assume that.
@@MelTorrefranca The personal name Maelin isn't Chinese. I didn't assume your character being Chinese either.
It's just that, I made a comment on other authors who kept making Chinese characters that sound like Maelin/May Lynn/Mei Lin probably because the pronunciation of the name sounds more feminine to western ears.
