I am a student and I worked as a part tym rapido captain for 2 months in Mysuru city. I'm sharing my opinions. 1.(For customers)When I was riding , two customers said that they met with an accident and insurance were never able to claim even after 2 to 3 months and the rapido were not supporting. But when I asked Officers in RTO they said that they haven't given any permission to Rapido and the bikes will be siezed if any one(Mainly auto drivers) give complaint on them and will be fined 5 to 15k and driving licence will be cancelled. Get the information before u start as a captain personally. 3. If u get caught by the auto drivers customer care is useless . Me and my colleagues got into this problems several times. My colleagues bikes were siezed as they got no support from the rapido . Some paid 5k fine and some of the bikes are still in the police station. So I don't say don't ride rapido. Ride on ur own risk. 4. The salary package is different for different cities . The salary at Mysuru was good at the beginning. But after 2 weeks the weekly incentives were of no use because u get only 1 rupee for every ride. Means as a part time captain I used to work for 5 to 6 hours a day at peak hours. I got 8 to 12 rides without cancelling any rides. That means incentive is 8 to 12 Rs for one day. My rating was 4.65 out of 5. I used Honda shine. My daily earing was 400 to 500 including incentive . U need at least 150 to 200 Rs of petrol. That means my total earnings is between 250 to 350 for a day. U can only earn 7k to max 10k ( oil change and service charge not deducted) 5. Some times there were no orders even u r at the demand area . U have to wait at least for 1 hour(one day I waited for almost 2 and half hour). This is because of compitition among rapido captains. More rapido captains are signing in as the rides are getting distributed. Some times pickup distance was more than the ride distance. This means waste of time and less profit. 6. There r too many problems. I have listed some of the main ones. Helpline is the worst. There r some technical issues in the app. Some times u won't get pickup fare and distance fare. I questioned them behalf of my colleagues about some of the problems in the meeting and they couldn't even answer some questions. As I questioned they neglected me and manipulated other captains also. They told we have the court order and there is no problem. So I asked them to send it in the group. It will be helpful for captains to get out of situations when we r in argument with auto drivers and police. They were so irritating as they even removed me from the what's app for asking them the court order. What's the problem showing court order if they have. Many of the captains are still dng rapido as they can't find alternative jobs. This app mostly benifits the company and the costomers. Don't take it as a main source for ur income. Do it as a secondary income job. So customers ur life is more important than ur money. And captains, before riding just think is it worth ur hard work. It's your decision. U r working for your commitments. Ride on ur own risk. Plzz do consider guys. Thank you
Hmm pretty much everything true. I would like to share an instance of my first and last rapido ride lol... If you wanna cut short you can straight go to second para 1️⃣That day I was with my friends on a picnic type trip. We went to lot's of places and when the day came to an end it was 7:30pm already. I was on the bus stop but the next bus was in like 30 mins. My home was like 7 kms away and I had to get there asap. I checked Ola and Uber, the prices were Rs.350-400. I already spent a lot that day so I was in a cheap mood. I looked for ola and uber auto as it was significantly cheaper but it was not available. My friend suggested me to try rapido. I hesitated quite a bit at first but I finally installed the app and booked a Rapido for the first time in my life. And was I amazed, just Rs.56 for 7 kilometeres!! There was some first ride discount coupon applied unless the cost was 76rs approx. As from the app the captain was supposed to come in a Honda or something (it was a good model). Then he called me and arrived in a worn & torn CD110 ... I was like that's fine let's just trust the process. One other thing that stuck with me was that the number plate was different from the app too so that was probably not his bike for sure. The captain was a nice guy, we had a good conversation. The way to my home had a 2km highway flyover from where I started. He started speeding to 60-65kmph to which I felt a little uncomfortable for trusting a stranger on that speed. The conversation carried throughout the whole ride and after that flyover which was 40% of the journey he started to tell me about his problems etc.. how these apps paid them so less, how his friend with a private rental car earned a lot more than him etc.. 2️⃣Then he went on like "Sir, You know they pay us so less that I cannot even afford to change the brakes. The tread/grip of the tires have been worn so much that it slips when it rains and he cannot afford a tire change." I was like Ayoo Broo u literally giving me a heartattack 🥲 In the way he even showed me how his breaks don't stop the bike even after pressing the handles. Then we reached my home I gave him hundred rupees. Later I just thought that nothing bad happened that night for gods sake or unless 60kmph accident on that flyover would have been the end of me. I took a bet on my life for Rs.56 rupees and pledged never to do it again. I appreciate if you gave your time to read a small page from my life 😊 ~Mohit
brother, you have narrated all the genuine problems, what we used to face on a daily basis one more to add, the customer book ride for long distance from far away area and left them in 1 or 2 km. that's is very annoying and I feel helpless for waste of time and effort.
I went to Hanoi in Vietnam for Holidays , i met a business student in Hostel . He also knew Rapido and he made a project on it in his earlier semesters . East Asian counties like Thailand , Vietnam , Indonesia etc have a very good 2 wheeler taxi services trend even before Rapido existed. But it's unorganized .
I would also like to add that apart from the legal issues that were cracked by Rapido, when ola and uber did dive into bike taxi format, they didn't have much of riders (because of their entry as "cab" services) which made the waiting periods longer and thus frustrating the customers. I hope Rapido team stays on track and keep their main business model intact with all their rickshaw and delivery stuff coming up
Sadly they are spreading out into auto and delivery verticals because bike taxi is a unsustainable model. The hype would subside in a year, reason behind this final hype is their investors are themselves exiting
@@yuribezmenov.ex-kgb yes ofc they have to diversify the business model to make it sustainable, but my point being not to make the original stuff degrade its quality
@@abhilashsvr yes tbh it kind of is, to be more precise, limited to Maharashtra state, but i would be glad to know the situation in northern India, if you'd like to share?
Exactly, that is one reason that I really like Rapido. Despite sometimes higher prices than Ola and Uber, the reliablity and the fact that I know that I won't be cancelled is something that really helps when you are in a pinch to avoid unexpected delays.
Finally a business case study. I like your geopolitical and historical videos, but I subscribed for this type of content so please keep the frequency of Business Case studies on the higher side.
Bro please its my sincere request .. make a video on how to do research on particular topic, source, info gathering, facts check and all . BIG FAN here!
I'm skeptical of Rapido's success since a successful company does not rely on legal loopholes and corporate tack-ticks. For example, who is responsible if a consumer is injured in an accident? who is responsible for paying the seized amount? Build a business on the foundation of "Trust" and "Transparency"
In the case of Rapido, they were brazen enough to clearly violate the laws in Bangalore despite the RTO and Traffic police commissioner Mentioning bike taxis were against the existing laws. Clearly, not the signs of a trustworthy company.
Well, with the same model, "Pathao" launched in Bangladesh in 2015. Though it was a massive success, they are now suffering from losses. It happened bcz of the riders. Bcz after several years, the riders stopped using the app and started hauling passengers like rickshaws or taxis. They used to stand beside crowded places and ask people whether they wanted to go or not. I think with this model, Rapido might end up like Pathao if they don't do anything to prevent the Captains from stopping using the app and asking people to go.
One more point I would like to add is overpricing by ola and uber during demand surge. Fare even shoots up by 100% during demand surge while it is not the case with rapido. The volatility in fare is much lesser than both other giants. Charging exorbitant fare results in consumer exiting from the market or going to competitors.
Fake point i frequently use bike service rapido is worst for customers in pricing uber ola are always better pricing atleast 10 rupees differences will be there comparing with rapido is very luxurious for me
i don't think so 90% of the times i see rapido price is atleast 10-20 rupees higher than ola or uber. again it depends on the location but still most of the times ola and uber are far cheaper than rapido
echo that, I was one of the early adopters of same when the began their service in gurugram in 2019 and loved the experience of easy booking, clean and well maintained cars and professional drivers and flat pricing model scheme they had(no cancellations and no surge pricing were cherry on the cake)
Interesting video I'm still pissed off with the VC funded start-ups without free cashflows but I like their scalability and this looks like a much better business model compared the existing model which burn up cash and has made transportation more expensive than ever. If possible kindly make a follow up video on their finances
OLA and Uber have become a Price quoting app rather than a cab service providing app. India has its own unique way of thinking and working around things haha.. love it!
But there are still a flaw that might bring it down.Rapido drivers often ask for double or even triple the amount that was mentioned in the app which creates a problamatic situation at times of emergency. It does make it unreliable.
I tried rapido 3-4 times , what I learned from the drivers was that they were barely making any profit . I mean from New Delhi to Gurgaon, rapido was showing 140 rupees for 18 km of ride . Due to still think they are still making profit , keeping in mind the fact that those drivers also have to pay commission to rapido .
They are literally doing what Ride Sharing company "Pathao" has been doing in Bangladesh since 2015 and in Nepal since 2018 .. I would love to see you make a case study of this Company!! Love your content by the way! Love from Bangladesh 💙
As per my experience in Hyderabad for past few months with different apps For a ride when searched in 3 apps the rates for bike taxi were Ola 160 Uber 180 Rapido 210 . Rapido charging 20-25% more than other apps. Ola - less no of drivers Ubers - 90% of rides cancelled by driver. Rapido - high rates (
same experience regarding fare but i didn't experience many cancellations. also waiting period for me was never more than 5min. probably my locality have more number of taxis
As i have seen in Bangalore, Uber bikes have already started in some areas. With same positioning: ride sharing service. Uber bikes now is on par with rapido. Let's see how it pans out between the 3 companies

I think you leaved a point Like how he worked smarter then other delivery model or taxi model and How the location sharing is key model to improve the speed and efficiency...
OLA and Uber ride prices have shot up extremely high in last couple years. The ride that used to cost me 400-450rs in 2019 costs me around 750-800rs today. Plus the amount of times my rides are cancelled is infuriating.
Bro in future can Ola and Uber beat this Monopoly since a market has been established ??? Are there any loopholes in Rapido's business model ???. Also is it possible that Ola and Uber can reduce their exsisting losses with bike taxis and an idea of implementing EV's in this market ???
its difficult for ola uber ro enter into bike taxi segment they hav left their drivers into huge debt by throwing short term incentives ..some even rook loans for buying a car n enter the ola or uber business ..tbh caes are a huge liability n during times such as pandemic prices shoot up and petrol maintenance etc increases and starts eating ur profits ...its possible for these cab business to enter into bikes but it will be tough will take time and effort as their reputation has been damaged...
the cost for rapido is not less and uber can enter in this just like how they entered cab service rapido is charging more than uber in mumbai and other cities
@@qad951 its because the place u live must have a certain number of rapido bike riders think if ur area has least rapido drivers and u want them ro come from one end to the other its difficult rhts why the cost is high
@@phantom008varun4 I'm from Hyderabad. Ola and Uber started bike taxis long back here (at least 4 years ago). Now Ola stopped due to some legal issues but Uber still runs it. Although initially, I didn't use Rapido for long, it's been my go to app if I'm alone. The main reason being the availability - maybe because of the ease of part time stuff, there are plenty of captains always around and ride gets accepted much faster compared to Uber's cab, auto, bike whatever it maybe. And second thing is the payment mode change - I barely carry cash and try to do online payments which isn't something the drivers like. The stupid Uber app has the option to change after the ride starts but it never works. It's not the same for Rapido, I can always change until the captain presses end ride and they have a QR code that comes up which I can scan and pay and those people are happy about it.
I use bike taxi very frequently in hyderabad , Almost always there is less fare in Ola for bike but the problem is, it takes very long time to accept, but rapido though it costs 20-30 rs more accepts very quickly, So as time passed i almost with no second thought prefer rapido
Hey, I am aware that you mostly create videos on case studies and they are really awesome and insightful but I would just request you can you make a video on how to network in the business community?
my mind got so much trained with your videos that now I can slightly predict which background music is gonna come based one the topic you are sharing 😅
@@ThinkSchool Thanks a lot for your amazing videos bro! I was about to sleep keeping all gadgets aside, saw your video in stream so just completed watching :)
My roomate atleast goes for two rides after a software job because he loves riding bikes and talks with passengers just for relief 🙌🙌🙌 he makes good money for hostel and party expenses 🥰
Actually here in lucknow, the rapido drivers instead of cancelling the ride, they ask passengers to cancel the ride as rapido charges them hefty amount and they somehow found a way to cancel the ride and pay the rider what rapido was offering.
One request . In your presentation / monologue, can you please use lakhs and crores numbering system. That is much easier to understand and get a visualisation of.
Rapido also focused on tier 2 and tier 3 cities more as metro people can pay more for cabs not small town people.. this also helped them grow and better infrastructure and nice cash base to compete with ola and uber in metros..
Yes, Rapido market strategies are based on ground reality while ola and uber are fantasy. My observations and Best Business strategies should based on ground reality. i hope Ola & Uber safely land on earth from Mars 😜😜😜
We love your analysis on every topic. Not only business case study (i like business case study also). But please make case studies on every topic like business, great Indian history (case study on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ❤️), future, science, politics,And unique Hollywood movies and unique regional Indian movies also.
Can you please lower down the background music which is played in the starting , since it is loud ; it is unable to hear what the news reporter speak hence only option is to turn on the SUBTITLES PLEASE IF YOU CAN SLOW DOWN THE BGM
Rapido will also shut down because it charges every time by increasing fare money to multiple times for same distance I have faced this problem for more than 7 Times by now
I am a Rapido, Ola, Uber rider. Uber is the best. Riders are unhappy with Rapido and Ola. As govt is against foreign companies so Uber not increasing market share. Rapido will lose market.
This is also a great example of "right place" when it comes to new venture. Bike taxies are not the first choice when you live in hotter part of India with relatively "sufficient" public transportation available - for e.g. Mumbai OR New Delhi. Enter Bengaluru - great weather, bikes can tackle traffic much more efficiently, convenience (and apetite for it among Bengaloreans) and finally cost of public and other existing transport medium. Note that Uber and Ola share were doing great but there was sharp drop in supply (from driver's side)
Hi, i subscribed your channel few weeks back and like your presentation and many of your topics. However, I dont comment very often. But for your Rapido post, pls note, it was being copied from a company name "Pathao" from Bangladesh who started the same operation during 2015-16 and later Uber copied the same two wheeler transport system. Thanks.
Taxi bikes in India have this major issues they will first ask the customers the drop location and then will ask for extra money and if the customer denied of giving extra money they will just cancel.
that is what many of us are asking to you for A while. The case was very good literally enjoy it. we are seeking for our next case study best wishes from us.
The most important learning is influencing the regulations, this proves that if your model is worthy and non-harmful to society, you can change the regulations too, go beyond the market mechanisms. 👍
I did almost more than 20 rides by rapido.. extremely happy with the service..the main part is affordability..now I choose rapido over ola uber taxis for my trips..only exception I make for very long trips i switch to uber or ola which ever is cheap available that time
For a ride costing rs 60 in RAPIDO, the same ride would cost around Rs 75-80 in Uber auto. So I personally AVOID Rapido, saving the risk of two wheeler ride at extra cost of Rs 15-20.
@Simon Joseph like riding in a three Vehicle/ autorickshaw is very safe 😂, these autos are Mayhem on our road. Other countries are banning them we should too.
Sounds good. And what is the analysis on Security and Accidents? Point to be noted as this is a Bike ride which has more risk than a Cab or Rickshaw...
back in 2013 when uber got very popular here in US, one of my friend who worked as developer for uber asked me to start something similar in India..at that time I told him the same thing that Uber is working here because here people's primary medium of travel is car and everybody has car. so they can utilize existing vehicle as taxi. In India same thing wont work because even thought lot of people have car, the primary medium to travel is two wheeler. People will have to buy car that they dont need if they want to be uber driver. plus average middle class or even most upper middle class indian would not waste 400-500 rs on taxi if we can go on their own two wheeler for 2 main reasons 1 saving money 2 avoiding delay due to traffic.
As per my understanding OLA and UBER can’t enter two wheeler segment because already there are four wheeler segment if they enter the make it risk at four wheeler segment as well As same for RAPIDO can’t enter four wheeler as well it was restricted business
Hi guys, I'm thinking how about a case study on Indian Economy through this pandemic period and Russia-Ukrainian war. I know you talked about this other case studies. But I think this one needs a separate case study. And are we a developed country? Did Dr Abdul Kalam's dream happened? Or when it will?
By the way, India is the world's largest manufacturer of 2-wheelers and Also exporter, These companies also explains how Indian capitalism is flourishing with MNCs and Unicorns Battling for 1.4 billion Market and Also how Investments are Flooding into India and It also cements India as the Brightest Economic Star in the world At the Moment
In Rapido was launched its price for the ride were very affordable & I used it for my daily travels at the base price of 40₹ but since it has captured the market the price for the same ride is now 76₹ which is even high or equal to uber now Few months back rapido introduced its ride price i.e a pass through which you can book ride with discount the price at that time was 20₹ for 10 rides and 40 for 20 now the price of same pass is 125 & 150 something. Now I don't think there is much difference in uber/ola bikes and Rapido) These are some demerits of Rapido I think which can lead to it's downfall or customer preference to alternative. Also problem is bike taxi is that helmet is shared among several people which may lead to transfer of hair problem like lice, dandruff etc. Someone should also come up by solving this problem))
Swiggy and Zomato paying more than Rapido to bike Drivers.. Rapido soon or later will not sustain.. because the same Rapido driver is available at Uber and Ola bikes.. This is biggest threat for Rapido to ensure availability bikes for customers all times.. In my experience I tried booking bikes, sometimes rapido no availability and ola have 1 or 2 and sometimes the same with uber.. Most of the Bike drivers are interested to deliver the parcels with swiggy or dunzo..

Rapido is ofcourse dominating the transport sector nowadays. Reason for falling business interests of Ola and Uber is their unsatisfied services of the drivers and high rental charges. And the drivers are demanding additional perks also.
In short bike taxi was untapped oil business for e transport market which has high value of profiting and rapido utilized it properly to beat ola and uber

Exactly, that is one reason that I really like Rapido. Despite sometimes higher prices than Ola and Uber, the reliablity and the fact that I know that I won't be cancelled is something that really helps when you are in a pinch to avoid unexpected delays.
Absolutely
They do , have had a very bad experience with rapido than ola
You as a woman, took a bike taxi, IN DELHI. Can't comprehend.

I agree with you about the responsibility bit, but many successful firms like spotify and even uber used to rely on legal loopholes
@@arjo911 I'm aware of Uber but not about loopholes used by Spotify. Can you elaborate?
In the case of Rapido, they were brazen enough to clearly violate the laws in Bangalore despite the RTO and Traffic police commissioner Mentioning bike taxis were against the existing laws. Clearly, not the signs of a trustworthy company.
If you would have used the Rapido app, you would have known that every ride is insured and insurance is covered in case of accident
Bruh
Similiar thing is done by rapido captains in tier 2 cities of India.
One more point I would like to add is overpricing by ola and uber during demand surge. Fare even shoots up by 100% during demand surge while it is not the case with rapido. The volatility in fare is much lesser than both other giants. Charging exorbitant fare results in consumer exiting from the market or going to competitors.
I swear
Fake point i frequently use bike service rapido is worst for customers in pricing uber ola are always better pricing atleast 10 rupees differences will be there comparing with rapido is very luxurious for me
i don't think so 90% of the times i see rapido price is atleast 10-20 rupees higher than ola or uber. again it depends on the location but still most of the times ola and uber are far cheaper than rapido
@@MR-sf2nkif we don't use raido for a long time then they will show a lower price but after taking 2-3 rides they will again start to charge high fare
Absolutely Genius of them.
Such a huge company having a revolutionary idea must have required great research
I remember, the concept of unofficial bike taxis existed in Goa long back, even before 2010. They are known as "Pilot"
A case study of Lockheed Martin Skunk Works and how they come up with incredible technological breakthroughs back to back would be awesome.
Please cover BluSmart Cabs as well. Have been using their cabs for months. Never faced any cancellations.
because its company's car not driver's
echo that, I was one of the early adopters of same when the began their service in gurugram in 2019 and loved the experience of easy booking, clean and well maintained cars and professional drivers and flat pricing model scheme they had(no cancellations and no surge pricing were cherry on the cake)
Interesting video I'm still pissed off with the VC funded start-ups without free cashflows but I like their scalability and this looks like a much better business model compared the existing model which burn up cash and has made transportation more expensive than ever.
If possible kindly make a follow up video on their finances
Moral of story
No matter how consolidated the industry is and how strong the competitior is , if you focus on gap you can make it big
Ola and uber tweaking their app for pool sharing could dilute the ridership with rapido
@♜TelegramMe@talktothinkschool Yeh wrong number hai...
Before the pandemic Uber used to offer, pool sharing. But after the pandemic, it stopped for obvious reasons. But they could very easily restart this.
This only happens in Tamil Nadu. 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Though not very deep as used be business case study... But great that you've uploaded a business case study after a long time. Thank you ❤️
They are literally doing what Ride Sharing company "Pathao" has been doing in Bangladesh since 2015 and in Nepal since 2018 .. I would love to see you make a case study of this Company!!

For a ride when searched in 3 apps the rates for bike taxi were
Ola 160
Uber 180
Rapido 210 .
Rapido charging 20-25% more than other apps.
Ola - less no of drivers
Ubers - 90% of rides cancelled by driver.

I used rapido only once and it blew my mind when he arrived at early morning and first time i got discount very much.
i once reported an issue to rapido and saw a change within 12 hours in app ui about it. really respect this company.

Also is it possible that Ola and Uber can reduce their exsisting losses with bike taxis and an idea of implementing EV's in this market ???
its difficult for ola uber ro enter into bike taxi segment they hav left their drivers into huge debt by throwing short term incentives ..some even rook loans for buying a car n enter the ola or uber business ..tbh caes are a huge liability n during times such as pandemic prices shoot up and petrol maintenance etc increases and starts eating ur profits ...its possible for these cab business to enter into bikes but it will be tough will take time and effort as their reputation has been damaged...
the cost for rapido is not less and uber can enter in this just like how they entered cab service
rapido is charging more than uber in mumbai and other cities
@@qad951 its because the place u live must have a certain number of rapido bike riders think if ur area has least rapido drivers and u want them ro come from one end to the other its difficult rhts why the cost is high
aren't ola and uber are there in bike taxi? i don't know about other cities but atleast in hyderabad all these three companies are dominant.
💯
Hey, I am aware that you mostly create videos on case studies and they are really awesome and insightful but I would just request you can you make a video on how to network in the business community?

Actually here in lucknow, the rapido drivers instead of cancelling the ride, they ask passengers to cancel the ride as rapido charges them hefty amount and they somehow found a way to cancel the ride and pay the rider what rapido was offering.
Just paused watching Berkshire annual investors meeting to watch your case study.
Rapido's navigation is definitely a area of huge improvement, frequently reroutes
One request . In your presentation / monologue, can you please use lakhs and crores numbering system. That is much easier to understand and get a visualisation of.
Must do a video on the fiscal deficit breaching 5 percent. The decrease in forex reserves by 80 billion and its impact on business and common man
Rapido also focused on tier 2 and tier 3 cities more as metro people can pay more for cabs not small town people.. this also helped them grow and better infrastructure and nice cash base to compete with ola and uber in metros..
Yes, Rapido market strategies are based on ground reality while ola and uber are fantasy.
My observations and Best Business strategies should based on ground reality.
i hope Ola & Uber safely land on earth from Mars 😜😜😜

I am a Rapido, Ola, Uber rider. Uber is the best. Riders are unhappy with Rapido and Ola. As govt is against foreign companies so Uber not increasing market share. Rapido will lose market.
Kudos to identifying the gap in the market.
Would be interesting to see how Rapido deflects the competition from eating into its market share.
I would like to suggest that please make talking speed low, as compaire with older videos your speed of communication was incresed so much......
I really like rapido, I'm a student for me it's afforable and fun to ride 2 wheeler. I want this company to succeed.
Should have discussef why somany other bike taxi companies failed
This is also a great example of "right place" when it comes to new venture. Bike taxies are not the first choice when you live in hotter part of India with relatively "sufficient" public transportation available - for e.g. Mumbai OR New Delhi. Enter Bengaluru - great weather, bikes can tackle traffic much more efficiently, convenience (and apetite for it among Bengaloreans) and finally cost of public and other existing transport medium.
Note that Uber and Ola share were doing great but there was sharp drop in supply (from driver's side)
The Rapido Captains are also working for Dunzo, Swiggy etc..
So this becomes an additional source for them
As always fantastic analysis by think school. I have one request please provide subtitles in the video .
In rainy season it is risky to travel in two wheeler as comparedto Taxi-
Taxi service only choose.... Better suggestion
I think a case study on the growth InDriver can also be helpful in an extension to the valuable information you provided in this one.
Have you ever taken a ride with Rapido?
Do the riders keep a spare helmet for the pillion? Do they even wear a helmet, as hardly anyone does in Pune?
Rapido is like meesho.
That how meesho emerged in between Amazon & Flipkart.
And thus like this Rapido also Emerged in between Ola and Uber.
I did almost more than 20 rides by rapido.. extremely happy with the service..the main part is affordability..now I choose rapido over ola uber taxis for my trips..only exception I make for very long trips i switch to uber or ola which ever is cheap available that time
Me still thinking what different did Rapido do which bounce could not ?
Timing into the market ?
Lessons learnt from Bounce's failures ?
For a ride costing rs 60 in RAPIDO, the same ride would cost around Rs 75-80 in Uber auto.
So I personally AVOID Rapido, saving the risk of two wheeler ride at extra cost of Rs 15-20.
@Simon Joseph like riding in a three Vehicle/ autorickshaw is very safe 😂, these autos are Mayhem on our road. Other countries are banning them we should too.
3:35, I am of the opinion that breaking traffic rules shouldn't be glorified in any direct or indirect ways.
Sounds good. And what is the analysis on Security and Accidents? Point to be noted as this is a Bike ride which has more risk than a Cab or Rickshaw...
I am regular user of rapido in bangalore. rates are really reasonable and drivers are also good.satisfied customer
back in 2013 when uber got very popular here in US, one of my friend who worked as developer for uber asked me to start something similar in India..at that time I told him the same thing that Uber is working here because here people's primary medium of travel is car and everybody has car. so they can utilize existing vehicle as taxi.
Intro is getting better and better 🔥🔥
As per my understanding OLA and UBER can’t enter two wheeler segment because already there are four wheeler segment if they enter the make it risk at four wheeler segment as well
As same for RAPIDO can’t enter four wheeler as well it was restricted business
uber is already doing good in two wheeler segment lmao
Hi guys, I'm thinking how about a case study on Indian Economy through this pandemic period and Russia-Ukrainian war. I know you talked about this other case studies. But I think this one needs a separate case study.

In Rapido was launched its price for the ride were very affordable & I used it for my daily travels at the base price of 40₹ but since it has captured the market the price for the same ride is now 76₹ which is even high or equal to uber now
Few months back rapido introduced its ride price i.e a pass through which you can book ride with discount the price at that time was 20₹ for 10 rides and 40 for 20 now the price of same pass is 125 & 150 something. Now I don't think there is much difference in uber/ola bikes and Rapido)
These are some demerits of Rapido I think which can lead to it's downfall or customer preference to alternative.
Wonderful riding Rapido.... Expert riders in heavy traffic.... Time saving

You said that our two wheelers are under utilized. However, Swiggy, Zomato & Pizzas have been leveraging them for a long time now.
