Why there is such a poor audience for a 1000 event?
No one who’s not a tennis fanatic would take time of work with the limited leave allowance they get in USA to go watch a tennis match mid week but you’ll notice the weekends are pretty much packed and families with kids. They probably have to drive far, park and tickets can be expensive too. Whilst in densely populated cities with public transport links like London NYC Paris etc it’s easy to fill non grand slam tournaments.
there was a lot of rain the weekend i went so some matches were empty. on nice days and big matches the courts were packed
@@LadyMul i know, it’s a weekday - still, I have seen better than that! And this being at a M1000 tournament is what raises questions
