    Looks like a lot of fun. Makes me want to find some old trimmers and restore them. Put them up for future use.

      Amazing !!! I just bought a older pe200 echo edger for $20 only needed a new primer bulb and runs .. And a older echo srm230 only runs on half choke . Got both for $40

    Did you grease the gears in the trimmer??

      I did. Right after the video, I realized, oh boy, I forgot to put grease I the head. I then put grease in it.

    the end result looks GREAT !!!! . . . .. . . .. BUT, 20 hours total work time doesn't seem worth it honestly if you are planning on selling it - - this would sell for around $125 in my area . personally i would have stopped after 3 mins into part1 and still make $125 . don't get me wrong end result came out like a work of art but, time is $
