i have 12600, 4070, 32ram and 40-50 fps on low settings. i just dont understand why...
Try the 2x super sampling, helps some with the 40 series cards!
Thanks mate!
I had some of my settings tweaked already but this video still helped me pump up my fps from like between 65-85 range to 90-110! I have a (1-1,5yrs ago built) pretty good custom made laptop, was considered high end at the time I bought it, I had like 100fps back then but with patch after patch went down before you saved me with this video you made!!!
Thanks a ton!!!
Glad to hear it bro!
Thanks for watching! 👊😎
Damn post effects settings ate like 25 fps, thanks for the video super helpful. Any thoughts on FPS with an ultra wide monitor 21:9 3440x1440 ?
Not sure what you are asking exactly, but higher resolution will definetly lower your fps!
great video man. I am trying the fsr 2.2 i currently have ryzen 9 5900x and gtx 1070. any recommendation?
Seems good, what fps are you getting?
So i was actually getting up to 90-110 which is suprising. I only played in customs though. My graphics seem washed out but i could still see. I did follow your other video on the description. @FliNNest
Best fps and visual settings ive seen that actually make a difference, thanks bro 😁
Thanks for watching! 👊
High texture requires 16gb vram or higher. Medium requires 10-12gb vram.
No, it does not.
@@FLINNest yes it does. Literally tested with my 7950x3d, 32gb 6400mhz, 4080
I was the one that reported streets consumes more vram to bsg and i know because i always monitor rivatuner when i play tarkov in many different settings.
@@beilence Yes, if you have more available, it uses it, but you dont need it...
Also using streets for any benchmark is pointless as it is extremely unoptimized.
@@FLINNest i play on reserve and normal raids it takes 12gb ram on qhd texture medium. Even with my 4070ti and 4070 super.
Which means anything lower than 12gb vram, will be short on vram because of course it has less vram and cannot afford to use more since the cards are vram limited.
@@beilence Like I said, if you have more vram, the game uses it, but it does not "require" 12 or 14 or whatever you said, I play just fine with 8gb of vram, streets avg 90-100fps.
bro, how do to put that PostFX momentum, how u can look at the time what happend when u change something :o
When you are in raid, there is a "Vizualise" button under the post-fx tab!
@@FLINNest oh man, ty so much
guys my native monitor resolution its 1920x1080 (16:9), i was playin in 1600x900, because i thought was gonna increase fps, its just not worth it to do that?
It should be the last thing you change if you really need the frames, for visibility native resolution is best!
1:06 Are you really playing borderless ??
I always believed and still think that you can't have more than 60 htz (fps whatever) if you're not on fullscreen
You do get more than 60hz, your monitors refresh doesnt change with that.
When I get home I’m gonna try this, you might remember me but I gotta figure out what’s up with my pc
honestly nvidia dlss quality looks like a TAA or FXAA "high" so i will probaly use dlss rather TAA cause it still smooth the edges
will try these settings on my laptop. g16 asus roz zephyrus.
Eso what frames should I be seeing NG roughly with a 4050
No clue mate, tarkov relies on your CPU for performance.
Thx will try it out.
Any idea how to boost in game sound. My music can be so loud that its unbearable, finish task mod are also super loud... in game sound is so bad and low
You have a slider for everything, I have overall volume at 60, Interface at 40, Chat and Music 0, Hideout 30.
I have a 1080 and an i7 4790k. Just followed your older guide to a tee. should i try FSR to see if i get more frames or is it not worth it?
You dont have anything to lose, definetly helped me out a lot with my 1070!
get 5800x3d and a suitable mobo. Then watch the magic. 5800x3d Cheapest best upgrade for old rigs. FSR looks terrible imho. You get frames in the cost of pixels.
@@therealsoulbringer i tried FSR it ran the same but looked like shit. Like i had no AA.
Is there any recommendations for a2060 and a ryzen 5 3600x?
Not really, that cpu requires an upgrade unfortunately!
5800X3D is the answer
Hi Flinn! Do you have a separate streaming PC?
Nope, single PC streaming and recording.
@@FLINNest damn! And you can still stream and record on Streets? That's nice!
Hey man you mention digital vibrance in the video but you do not have it shown anywhere. What digital vibrance/gamma settings etc do you use in the nvidia control panel?
ffs, I totally forgot... Thanks for reminding me!
I use 70% Digital Vibrance and +1.2 Gamma, Brigtness and Contrast are +50%! 👊
THX FOR ALL
Thanks for watching! 👊😎
i have a 4090 and an i9-13900k. w a 4k monitor, with that being said, i play at 1440, is this a bad idea? should i switch to 4k
I imagine the image quality will be much better but I have no idea how big of a hit you will take on your framerate, but only one way to find out!
my game never seems to use my gpu 100%, any help?
Turn up the graphics, it never really uses 100% for me either.
32 V-ram
Should i use high texture quality?
Pretty sure there are no GPUs with 32gb of vram!
@@FLINNest Oh
My fault
I mixed up V-ram and Ram
6 gb of vram
I should use low texture?
@@nikkel5887 I wouldn't go over medium in that case!
Nvidia reflex introduces latency, for some reason you get better frametimes if you turn on vsync in tarkov, off in nvidia.
to the contrary, reflex reduces it
@@Adrian.A.V. turn on some kind of perfomance counter like rivatuner and you will see that vsync gives you less latency than nvidia reflex, at least in tarkov
could you make a trader lvl 2 build video?
Not 100% sure, but I think this is still relevant - ua-cam.com/video/gVhi5m2BdL0/v-deo.html
HELL YEAH
When he said
"I'm testing offline"
I'm closing the video 😂
😂😂
😂😂
Is there anyway of having nvidia reflex on without capping fps at 60 on stash?
Don't think so, why do you need uncapped frames in stash though?
@@FLINNest It makes the stash managment smoother, is so laggy for me with nvidia reflex on so i keep turning it on or off if im in raid
Keep in mind that there's a 60fps cap for the menu in the game, I don't know if you can uncap it but for me is impossible, It doesn't bother me tho.
@@aegis5861 If you have 144Hz monitor you can activate vsync and uncap the fps on lobby, that is what i do
good vidio ,very informative good job
Thank you! 👊
i have the Monitor Q27 Pro lol nice Video mate :9
👊😎
Flinn, you are the best💪👍! Enjoy your breakerino
Thanks bro! 👊
Just getting into Tarky like level 2 lol if anyone has any tips or wanna run together I’ve been solo figuring this shit out lmfao it’s dope tho
I run solo, but you should look into official eft discord if you want to find someone else to run with!
tysm ! So sad i discover your video late wipe, i won litteraly like 100+ fps after taking your settings.
100 is a lot bro, glad to help! 👊
when i had a dog shit PC, i always was told to turn off your post fx setting, but since i didnt have Nvidea and only had AMD- i didnt have the gama trick so i relied on them. but i was getting frames in the 30s and teens when i looked down a scope, so i was desperate and turned it off. I noticed ZERO difference, maybe 5 frames but nothing substantial. This was IN GAME, not offline.
offline is also IN GAME, yes the frames are obviously different but you still get the idea of the impact every single setting has
@@FLINNest not accurate reflection of the true frames, other videos have tested this theory. if you want to test this theory, the game is practically dead in the southern servers. go in with a pistol and perform the same test
I have a 3050 Ti I run around 50 fps on most maps, I am supposed to have 8gb of Vram but my system says I only have 512mb is this normal? my memory is also always 98% usage, going to get more RAM for that.
Tarkov is a CPU heavy game, and streets generally wants more than 8gb if it can get it, 32gb of ram highly recommended for Tarkov!
whats your spec and settings?
Kinda sick of games where you need to be semi prof. Graphics designer just to get the shit in a decent playable state. Same was with CS, now Tarkov ... Rinse and repeat... Thx for the vid that saves us quite a lot of annoyance!
You don't, just hit up UA-cam.
Us Tarkov players have the lowest standards when it comes to game performance and bug issues mate. BSG keeps adding unnecessary stuff and more bugs each wipe while people with 5000$ PCs get less than 100fps on streets, wille toasters run minecraft on 244Hz.
BUT you found a LEDX today... but couldn't pick it up because it's bugged... Now your drywall holes have a new neighbor. Man i miss the days when games were released when they were actually ready
It probably would be a waste of time for them to focus on the optimization too much, especially since they keep adding more things into the game and updating the engine every few years, they would just have to optimize it over and over again, it is annoying af though I agree, hopefully the game releases before 2030 and they can focus on optimizations soon...
@@FLINNest amen brother
Nice video
i wonder when people are going to realize that if you try it at offline mode it means you found best settings for the OFFLINE MODE as it should be. Alrigth? but still thank you for the help that you tried to give
Probably when they watch the first 20 seconds of the video.
@@FLINNest i know, its not you im mad its the tarkov as you can guess brother
Now if only I can get the game to stop blue screen of death randomly everyday
I had a similar issue a while back, was caused by the SSD that was dying.
