@Leonard M it was pretty bad in NV, but in fallout 3 it actually had the constant stealth boy effect it is known for so I see why he talked about Fallout 3, instead of saying it was boring in New Vegas. Nothing about his comment referenced anything about him not playing New Vegas😹.

very nice! as I have a steal(ish) sniper character! currently just have shadow leather armor with mix deep pocked and stabilized though I do have a robot arm armor with chameleon effect. but I'm working my way to getting some marine arms just for the armor defense.
would like to see alittle bit more of your build, like perks you choose and armor you ware most of the time if dont mind. be great video idea too lol for a simple study base to improve others(mostly my) builds ha
You don't really need armor if they can't see you in the first place. It is what it is meant to be, definitely not like my nightblade, lots of stealth, hard to kill, and can bring you down in a few seconds. Here, once my cover is blown I do have to run for cover but escape artist seems bugged atm.

Thank you, great video, very useful! I have a question since I've noticed the magnifying glass at 1:29. How did you get it? I used it in Fallout 4 a lot, but now I can't seem to find it.
When you don't have enough of the specific material when crafting there will be an option to select "tag for search" which will add the magnifying glass to the item you're lacking. Not sure if you can also do it from the junk menu like in Fallout 4.

Is this the only armor to go completely undetected as soon as you crouch?
Would you use this instead of the usual Chameleon and shadowed stuff etc? ie does it replace a stealth builds armour?
You can stay invisible while moving so I would say it is better.

Its better than the chameleon effect with shadow stuff. The stralth effect the chinese stealth armor gived is the same as a stealth boy. Meaning is stronger. And you dont have to repair it much either since its very durable, and you are rarely seen. And you also have the 1k rad resistance with it.
Its a complete package.
You can also buy it with gold bullion, if you can't do the quest, and have high enough standing with the Settlers.

I got a chameleon leather leg super early into my run by doing an event at the airport it’s pretty good considering I got marksman hunting rifles also super early in game I can’t wait to go and get a full suit

I hadn’t done this quest and have chosen the raider heist instead of the settler missions. Is there any way I can still get the suit?
Yeah you just have to reach the Neighborly reputation rank for Settlers (second to last rep rank) then purchase the plans for 4000 gold bullion (might take a while)
Just do as much as you can to get standing with settlers and then do as many events to get bullion
Is there a way to get this if you have already sided with the raiders, wish i had watched this video sooner,

I've had a few but I've also had a fair few internet problems as of late and I'm pretty sure they've been the main culprit.

question. i have completed two quests for the raiders. the first with the davids trophy and the other that i gave Meg (the woman in crater) the vaccine. Nothing else. Will i still get the freaking armor if i complete (correctly) the invisibile Ties ?
Yep, it's only once you get started with the final mission for either side that you're locked out from the other one

I noticed none of difference on hide brackets when I took sneaking perk off. So I think those perks are meant to be with non stealth armor builds. This is STEALTH anyways.

It says I can only build level 25 armor right now. Do i have to build 25 to unlock 30...build 30 to unlock the next level, etc?
Providing you're a high enough level you should be able to craft the armour at level 30 and above. If you're not yet above level 30 though then the options may not show up.
After I got to lvl 20 I went straight to the foundation and did the here to stay quest, now nothing else is happening. No invisible ties quest. I already did the hornwright motherload before all this. Has this bugged it? Probably because I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING.. Sorry.. Any help?
Might be worth submitting a ticket with Bethesda if this issue has persisted.

So I stopped doing the settler quests before finishing the one with the scientist lady. Can I never get this then?

I believe you can purchase it, but I don’t know from where or when.

i understand i’m a bit late but is this an apparel item or does it go under the armor tab?
You equip it on the armour tab and like he says it removes your apparel
so there is no possible way to start it if you already done the 79 heist maybe like increase your reputation with foundation or something i dont wanna start another character or buy it for gold bullion :(
I believe you can now. Worth checking in with the various vendors in Foundation and seeing if they sell it, believe one does for bullion (although apparently it's very pricey)
What reputation do you have to get to with the settlers to get stealth armour?

Don't need to do the tapes. It's meeting with her and getting the first mission or two done that she gives you I think. She'll introduce you to the settlers during that if I recall correctly

Not the first proper Raiders quest but you do have to deliver the innoculation to them.

As long as you've not hit the point of no return (game gives you a warning right beforehand)

Have you met the Overseer? If not go and meet her in her house in Sutton. If you're over level 20 you'll have already started a quest which sends you there

My gf has done this mission 15 times and she still cant get the suit. Wat can she do. Cuz she went to the vendor or watever and theres nothing there. So wat can she do to get it.
If you're not getting the plan (should be in the notes section) then you can get it by reaching max reputation rank with the Ally's and then buying the plans from Samuel, however they cost a lot of gold which will require a huge grind.
I got it thru the atomic shop since it’s on sale, but can’t find it anywhere in armor workbench is there something I’m suppose to do?

You should have already interacted with them if you're at that point, and have missions in your pipboy to complete for them

What's overseers quests? Dont have them
Should be the First Contact one to start them. I think it's picked up normally from Wayward Souls, but you can also just head to Flatwoods and find the Overseer's House there

As long as you're above level 50,all the options should be there

If I remember correctly you need to meet up with the Overseer and start on her questline. Think it will automatically show up at level 20

That means you missed the easy way to get it, but you can still buy the plans from the settlers after getting their reputation to friendly

You'll need to find her in her house in Sutton and then keep working with her until you've delivered the vaccine to both sides.
BADCompanySarge this was the answer I needed after an hour of googling and youtubes, I finished trade secrets but didn't cure the raiders yet and invisible ties hasn't popped after it was done, I thought I screwed up somehow, but I think this is my answer I'll know soon for sure, a lot of this game is not clear, definitely doesn't hold your hand through the processes

If you grind up rep with the Settlers you can buy the plan from their gold vendor for about 4000 gold + whatever the headpiece costs.

Random encounters will often help out. Guaranteed ways is to do the Wastelanders Dailies for the Settlers and Photo Opportunity, getting pictures of Crater and giving them to Ward for free.

You'll need to reach Ally with the Settlers to be able to buy the plans from Samuel. Costs thousands of gold bullion though.
Can you wear an outfit over it?
I know you can't for the mask but haven't tried with the armour. I'd assume no as it's a full piece that covers everything but not certain on it tbh

You have to do a specific set of events to get the stealth armor if you don't reunite the mom and daughter it's bust.

You should now be able to buy it with gold bullion from the Settlers gold vendor I believe

Before the heist. After you have to reach Ally with Settlers and then spend a boatload of gold on the plans.
Can you do one of power armor
There's already a fair few vids for power armor sets out there. If I remember right I think a lot of pieces may be level locked but been a while so can't be sure on that

I don't play with other people I actually played by myself.
mostly the only reason I was able to skim through nearly the entire main campaign and hit such a high-level so quickly is because this game isn't so different from fallout New Vegas or the other fallout games... Just we have that whole player-versus-player BS that people don't even like lol
insured I'm just saying you don't need friends to play this game this game is not hard the only time you might need friends is if you're too low level and you're trying to kill The scorch Queen who is level 95...
even then you can do daily quests you can do side quests you can do a ally quests you can do exp farms having friends really isn't required...
