I’ve just recently come back to fallout 76 last time I played it was launch then I never touched it again so a lot has changed since I’ve played and your videos have been really helpful and informative to me. I’m really enjoying the game right now and watching your videos makes me excited to play it and level up (I’m only level 30) anyway thanks ALOT been a huge help.
Dude same just came back yesterday I played a week after launch day got to level 51 never touched this game again cause it was so bad now it's pretty alright ! The biggest surprise to me was that the brother hood moved in and the fact that there's actually fucking human npcs now is awesome even though that shoulda been in the game at launch but yeah dude this game is foreign to me now last night just completed the bos storyline and it was awesome I gotta lot of fucking good gear from it just haven't finished the final quest but I know they might give me power armor?
I had a looter shooter build. Can't remember all the deets, but had mutations and radicool as well as leg str and weight mods and perks all applied; dropped my loot one time to see what my weight was and it was over 1300 lbs+ I was seriously trying to get to a ton, but was struggling with that. Alcohol and pep rolls as well as chems like buffout will jack your carry weight and there's the a recipe for pep rolls and booze (chems can be steep to craft but is also possible) and with carnivore, booze and chem immunity perks you're an unstoppable loot goblin. I did love me the loot system of 76. Loot build slot when build slots are on special (discounted) - create one. I'm greeedy. The Jerry McGuire build "show me the caps!" Good vid.
For new toons you can upgrade your standard back as you level up by crafting higher level backpacks which also increases your carry weight. I didn't know that until after lvl 50
NIce vid. Just want to add that in general reducing item weight is better than any increase in carry weight. If you stack the third legendary effect for reducing weight on Junk, Food/Aid/Drink on the Excavator Power Armor with perk cards, you can achieve 90% weight reduction on all food, aid, drinks, and junk items. Use that with Bandolier, Battery Included, Portal Power, and you will be able to carry much more than what 700 carry weight will give you. There are also other perk cards you can run to reduce weight on armor pieces and weapons if you need them after a farm run.
I tend to hold everything I see, I pick up EVERYTHING, so I tend to be over encumbered alot. So I'm always making new legendary power armor trying to get the junk perks. I don't take my power armor off unless it's necessary like cooking or sleeping. Thanks for the info, keep it coming, appreciate you
All my builds include Bear Arms and Ordnance express. Since I don’t use fallout first the 40mm is just to heavy to stash as well as having a couple heavy guns I like to use it’s just easier to keep them on my person. If I got 90% weight reduction on all my heavy I might would just trash my heavy ammo when I want to run a non heavy but that is not the case. Playing without that extra storage is on another level and I actually enjoy the challenge. (Not to mention most cosmetics and stuff from 1st I find useless and saving a couple dollars is just a bonus.) Plus I love tossing those ‘nades!
@Ethan Carter I agree. Why does one need 750 carry weight? Perhaps the best way to improve one's carry weight would be to get rid of some the garbage one is carrying. I usually have around 450 with armor and such, and this suits me fine.
@@MrFox-rf3cu yeah I rather have permanent carry weight capacity than temporary ones so I rather be around 450 which would be permanent than have 700 that is not permanent carry capacity
This here, Grilled Radstag meat gives the same buff as Brahmin and are much easier to get a hold of. Even if you don't have the dressing station for your camp they can be found hanging at most locations, my go to used to be the cabins just east of Whitesprings where there are 3 available
weight reduction mods for the backpack make huge differences, rather that going for the high capacity mods go for chemist or grocers mods. the chemist mod for the back pack makes a huge difference in my carry weight and is available from minerva quite often.
@@MrWestTek just the weight savings in stimpacks alone is more powerful that the carry weight you get from high capacity. I have tried all the different mods, weight reduction %100 beats extra capacity. If you want to can also have multiple backpacks you can have modded with different mods that you can easily switch between depending on what you need at the time.
@@greasemonkeymechanic1 The only time it screws me up is when I absolutely have to jump into my PA. My chem backpack goes away, and I'm carring 900lbs. :P Then I have to pop cards around.
Carry weight is the bane of my existence in any fallout game I have played. I am a loot hound, if it isn't nailed down or stealing I pick it up. I move my shelter around so much that I forget where I last placed it. I can be encumbered most of the time if I don't have my shelter to place down or scrap kits when I am in an interior that I can't find a bench. Thanks for the info.
The only Herbivore carryweight buff is minor, Simple Fern Flower Tea (+2 STR) or Steeped Fern Flower Tea (+4 STR). No other plant based buffs for Herbivores.
Can you make one of these videos for people who dont run bloody and unyielding? Also go a bit into depth about the items that you do carry, how many of each ect? Thanks and love your content!
Carry weight meats such as ribeye and rad stag steaks stack with strength meats such as deathclaw steak and sting wing filets. So you can combo the two. The only herbivore carry weight is the fern plant and it only gives plus 2 to strength not much compared to carnivore options.
It's really hard for some people to understand that *reducing weight* is better than just having more storage. That's the main reason why Strong Back is a "bad" perk, since you can use that one Perk point for reducing chem weight, for instance. 90% reduced chem rate (3 perk points) can reduce your inventory weight by up to 100, depending on what chems you carry, where the 4 perk point Strong Back only nets you 40 extra weight.
I’m New, At level 46/47 and just used my Second Perk slot load out to make a new Loadout with all the perks that reduce weight for almost all objects (food, aid,Junk, armor) and then did my Weapon damage ones, then my “extras” or addons of things I want or could use Went from having 260 flat and struggling between 180-230 to be my normal weight to now having 280 flat, And my new steady weight is 140-190 And I can still drink alc/use candy to get small Carry buffs (easiest items to use when in need of short traveling or running) Had to organize and compress my storage, went from 1200 and 250/260 on my character down to 1050+ and 200/280
I'm an Herbivore and I believe Rad Ant Lager works for Herbivores. I haven't checked myself (because I give all of my Rad Ant to my wife, who runs Carnivore). The wiki doesn't specify either. Rad Ant Lager is used in emergency fast travel situations; it immediately adds 50 pounds for a minute but then reduces 50 pounds for a minute, before wearing off.
The only carry weight boost for Herbivores is the carry weight booster, weight bench and alcohol. Most of a Herbivores comes from cards and mutations, and certain backpacks that lower chems and/or food. Deep pocketed make a difference on armor. Shielded on underarmor also give carry weight. I van get carry weight to hit about 426 as a Herbivore.
great tips !deathclaw steaks and radstag steaks boost carry weight as well and without buffs its pretty easy to have a flat 500 carry weight with backpack and max strength .
Yeah, just bought these the other day from crater. Weight Bench, Speed bag, Fortune teller etc can be bought with gold so probably better to save our atoms for something "atom only"
Another trick is is to set your strenght points to 15 and upgrading the legendary strength card to max. Youre wasting 5 perk cardes but u gain 25 more carry weight. Wouldnt recommend it if youre low level
Deathclaw steak also gives +5 strength and is a simpler recipe if that helps. I have one that regularly spawns next to my camp in Cranberry bog which is handy haha
I got the bear claw recipe super easy to craft and rad ant alcohol gives 50 carry as well and never spoils only lasts a few seconds but I use it even on herbivore stacks with the atom carry booster as well
RadAnt Lager rocks for that "fast travel home" situation. Swap cards to the alcohol boost, pop a radant, and hit that fast travel. The hangover sucks, but is only a minute or two.
I'm level 90, still rolling with the starter backpack, I do not use power armor, and am a solo survivor build, I have weight reduction perks on all Medical, Armor, Junk and food, and carry around two primary ranged weapons and one melee weapon, I carry only stimpacks and a few rad away for my meds even though I hardly need to use stimpacks or radaways much, with the legendary perk that heals rads over time + rad resistant and the other legendary perk for strength, my primary weight before I head off for adventure is around 75, and my total carry weight is around 250-260, it's way more than enough to stay out for hours collecting numerous junk with no problem, meds, armor and food, my build is primary getting the increase damage and energy resistant perks that requires no power armor I hardly do the main quests so I'm sure im missing out on alot, but I am always side tracked with the smaller events, exploring every little part of the regions, new buildings or little shacks that aren't marked on the map/or are waypoints to discover, loot hoarder to the max and a vendor seller selling for cheap cheap princes on all kinds of things (Meds for example, are 1/10th of the sell prices) legendary weapons and armor I sell for 1/10th of the prices Two Times the number of the stars it has so say it's a 405 value weapon/armor, I take off the last digit and times 40 by two, and Id sell it for around 80 (or a little morea) caps, if it was two stars I'd sell it for around 120 (or a little more) ect. I usually have stacks around 100 silver or gold/crystals and other valuable junk, I don't hardly use them, so I sell them in my vendor around 25 -50 or sometimes a 100 for 1 cap each, except for gold/crystal and some other junk I sell for 2 caps a piece, I bundle my junk and sell those around 1/4th to 1/5th of the price, every little thing tends to sell and my stash box stays around 1,000 out of 1,200 or less depends on the selling and what I have collected, sometimes it gets a little high if I have a few legendries, and I have items of all types, keeping one of each apparel items I find in the stash and also one each on my character, incase anyone is wondering my armor with no power armor is around 525, and 380 energy resistance, that is with three + 35 to each armor and energy resistance armor that goes by how high my health is, and with a vampire auto melee weapon I usually am maintaining around high health when fighting things, and plus a vampire ranged weapon, I also have two pieces of armor that that increases defense and energy resistance by 20 each based on caps which I usually have above 35,000 or near max, I am always having caps coming in from vending and people buying out mainly my bundled junk, but everything tends to sell in my vending even if it's cheap it sells faster and hundreds of caps to a thousands or two a day plus selling to vendors to get around the 1,400 cap selling limit, and I mainly use my caps for ammo, even though I can make quite a bit and with how much I collect But I never looked up any videos on how to play, how to have this or that build, and even if I come across one I seem to play totally different than the video explains, and do perfectly fine, can fight big enemies, hold a decent amount of loot, do fairly good damage, and make constant caps from vending machine, but I'd still want to have more carry weight, I eat all kinds of foods and drinks as Im always constantly cooking and have tons of cooked food on me, over time though once I get the strength perk maxed out I'll have maybe 280 or so carry weight naturally, which is nice with my average 75 weight to start and all the weight reduction perks to keep me out for hours before needing to really need to come back to my camp
If you can get the recipe, yao guai pastry gives same carry weight as pepperoni roll and is easier to make (boiled water, yao guai meat and razor grain flour).
Don't forget, Yao Guai Pastry gives you +75 (and I'm assuming Pepporini Roll) with Carnivore with Strange in Numbers (teamed with someone with at least one mutation) + Class Freak Perk cards.
Again an absolute great Video. I really Like that you make It as simple as it gets. Like I mentioned in another comment, inventory and stash Management is a pain For a hoarder who played survival Games without this limitation. The Videos I saw 2 years ago didn't really help. If I ever See you in a Lobby, the Nuka Cola will be on me!
You can get more strength from whiskey and deathclaw wellington. Gets even better with perks and carnivore. Also shielded lining under armors add strength
You’ve probably figured it out, but looks like the extra carry weight from your armor was because all of it was deep pocketed, which adds +10 per piece (giving +50 from just the armor without the effects of unyielding)
The (Stag) camp item is really clutch also it gives you 5 stag meat an hour and each peice gives me +50 carry weight. I am carnivore so I don't know if it's lower for others
I'm a herbivore user and don't know of any strength boosts so I use Whisky as I use party girl perk which gives +6 str; also for sweetwater giving a whopping+15 perception. I picked herbivore due to a better bonus to int and agility.
@@MrWestTek definitely since herbivore helps with agility & vats so much. Look at all the crap we need to scavenge & loot - NEED MORE CARRY ABILITY *shakes fist at Bethesda*
I remember when we first started playing and the glitch to carry weight you could carry (me at least) was around 1500 then they patched it, good time lol
i am a hoarder type of player and always played FO4 and other bethesda games with some kind of weight reduction mod or unlimited carry weight mod... but even so having around 400 is fair enough in FO76. only thing i got disappointed about carry weight is that if you set carry weight multiplier to maximum (x10? can't remember) at custom world settings it caps at 999. sure thing im not going to need that much but still i wanted to see thousands of capacity there just for fun
If you have picked up a lot of legendary armour that are going for scrip but you have to wait and your stash is full...make it all ultra light weight even if you are slowly walking to a vendor it increases its base value from standard. Legendary perk points don't work beyond the base 15so better off assigning 10 perk points to strength the extra points in intelligence and getting the light weight PA perk
I’ve gotta be honest I don’t know how you do a video on carry weight and leave out any mention of the weight reduction perks like Bear Arms, or traveling pharmacy, thru-hiker, etc since they are worth SOOO much more to carry capacity than just increasing the total carry weight stat. Also, legendary weight reduction effects on armor. My max carry weight is usually in the 450 range but if I bump to my crafting class with no weight reduction perks the 300 of that 450 that’s actually used becomes 1100+.
Carry weight and storage capacity is like a strike between the legs from the developers. Now I have to loot only ammo and caps, dropping legendaries on the floor if I already have daily sell limit...
They need to make food weight a lot less and never spoil when cooked. If it’s easy to find but it’s always spoiling then it’s just busy work and I’m so sick of trying to keep my food buffs in the inventory.

I appreciate this as someone who is just getting back into it and running around with just shy of 400 carry weight I was like damn how do I buff this. I have no clue on how to go about mutations as I don't want to mess my character up but I see everyone and I mean everyone running ground with 3/4th of their health bar in rads. And just tanking everything. So I'm going to be using a lot of videos to put together a character I'm just shy of level 100 I think I'm level 96

Thanks for the nice comment. Unfortunately, being a carnivore is best for carry weight boosts. Although there are herbivore buffs. Not sure off the top of my head.
Well with a bloody build you rly can exchange the shield upgrades from the backpack to more carry weight even if doesnt seem to make any sense, but would you recommend it as a top upgrade for all builds?
I wanted to ask a question unrelated to this video if I may. Your health bar is nearly completely red because of the rads you’ve been exposed to I assume. I’m brand new at this game pretty much. How do you have that many rads and seemingly so little health, yet manage to stay alive during combat? It looks like something could one-shot you!
It’s a bloodied build. The armour, perks and mods are designed so that when your character is low health/high rads, you deal more damage, a lot more damage.
Its dumb that ypu fan carry more without PA than you can with. I lose like 60+weight by stepping into PA. If im in a nuclear powered exosuit I should have like 1000lbs of carry weight.

Sometimes the lighter weight get you a better bonus than the 5 you get from deep pocket
Thanks for taking the time to write a nice comment bro. I'm very happy to help. Always waking up wondering what I can make to help out :)
The Jerry McGuire build "show me the caps!"
Good vid.
Thanks for the info, keep it coming, appreciate you
First time playing Fallout 76 since launch. I am absolutely loving it. Great guide. very helpful when carrying items in Appalachia.
Very happy to help and thanks for leaving me a nice comment, appreciate it
I got 400 with Raw freaking Strength
15 strength strong back on 3 times built like a suit of power armor
I have 504 463 583 on my power armor resistance
@@ARandomPersonFromJapan they were talking about carry weight not the armors resistance😅
I use the Radstag field dressing station and the wood gathering pile all the time to get that extra carry weight.
How does the woodpile increase carry weight?
@@KarlDelaney99 To cook the radstag meat 😁
Steeped Fern Flower Tea is a great strength booster for Herbivore builds, and one of my essential four Tea consumables that I always run together.
It is a good guide - if you decide to dedicate all your time with the game to an infinite loop of preparing and keeping temporary weight buffs.
Yep, crafting Pepperoni Roll alone is such a chore that I never bother.
@@tt128556it only takes a minute to buy it ;)
@Ethan Carter I agree.
Grilled radstag also gives you a carry boost and with the radstag item from the scoreboard you’ll never have to go look for them
This here, Grilled Radstag meat gives the same buff as Brahmin and are much easier to get a hold of.
Even if you don't have the dressing station for your camp they can be found hanging at most locations, my go to used to be the cabins just east of Whitesprings where there are 3 available
Great point! Unfortunately not everyone will have access to this in the future. At least right away.
@@colinhewitt747 in game i wear the chally the Moo the Moo outfit. I May be a carnivore but im not a cannibal
Yeah also just commented this. So easy to use and get
I just started two days ago. I’m glad I’m playing now that the bugs are (mostly) gone lol.
weight reduction mods for the backpack make huge differences, rather that going for the high capacity mods go for chemist or grocers mods. the chemist mod for the back pack makes a huge difference in my carry weight and is available from minerva quite often.
What if I want to carry stuff other than food or chems? I'll take the 60+ carry weight.
First time playing a fallout game and I started about two to three days ago. I’m loving it so far.
Glad to hear!
Omg dude you have to play Fallout 3, New Vegas and 4 they’re all amazing.
Also been enjoying the new radstag meat rack, not the highest buff I know but great when you're in a hurry
Yao guai pastry gives up to 75 carry weight. Lady at nuka world sells them, sometimes some are there. They dont spoil. Stock up.
Really, and they don't spoil? That's crazy. Great tip!
Once you get the recipe they're also not difficult to make. Yao guai spawn at a few places so butchers Bounty and Super Duper net you a few.
They do spoil.
his content is so entertaining and useful for my gameplay experience
It's really hard for some people to understand that *reducing weight* is better than just having more storage. That's the main reason why Strong Back is a "bad" perk, since you can use that one Perk point for reducing chem weight, for instance. 90% reduced chem rate (3 perk points) can reduce your inventory weight by up to 100, depending on what chems you carry, where the 4 perk point Strong Back only nets you 40 extra weight.
I’m New, At level 46/47 and just used my Second Perk slot load out to make a new Loadout with all the perks that reduce weight for almost all objects (food, aid,Junk, armor) and then did my Weapon damage ones, then my “extras” or addons of things I want or could use
Went from having 260 flat and struggling between 180-230 to be my normal weight to now having
280 flat, And my new steady weight is 140-190
And I can still drink alc/use candy to get small Carry buffs (easiest items to use when in need of short traveling or running)
Had to organize and compress my storage, went from 1200 and 250/260 on my character down to
1050+ and 200/280
**smiles with hoarding glee**
"Excellent..."
Mr. Burns style
Also Grilled Radstags are good
The Marsupial mutation boosts jumping and carry weight as well
Great point!
For those that wonder. Herbivore mainly helps with xp boost recipes.
You get the same buffs from Carnivore now. You just need the right magazine 👌
great tips !deathclaw steaks and radstag steaks boost carry weight as well and without buffs its pretty easy to have a flat 500 carry weight with backpack and max strength .
Thanks and agreed :)
You can get weight bench from crater with certain reputation rank I believe
Yeah, just bought these the other day from crater. Weight Bench, Speed bag, Fortune teller etc can be bought with gold so probably better to save our atoms for something "atom only"
I'm not sure to be honest but we'll take your word for it
The carry weight is the only issue I have with this game, but at least I can work towards getting more and they make it kinda fun figuring it out.
Another trick is is to set your strenght points to 15 and upgrading the legendary strength card to max. Youre wasting 5 perk cardes but u gain 25 more carry weight. Wouldnt recommend it if youre low level
I do that sometimes.
Yaogui Pastry is the best carry weight food buff and gulper stuffed foot is the best strength boost both can be found at Nuka world
Deathclaw steak also gives +5 strength and is a simpler recipe if that helps. I have one that regularly spawns next to my camp in Cranberry bog which is handy haha
Great video it is very helpful and I enjoyed it
Appreciate the nice comment :)
I'm level 90, still rolling with the starter backpack, I do not use power armor, and am a solo survivor build, I have weight reduction perks on all Medical, Armor, Junk and food, and carry around two primary ranged weapons and one melee weapon, I carry only stimpacks and a few rad away for my meds even though I hardly need to use stimpacks or radaways much, with the legendary perk that heals rads over time + rad resistant and the other legendary perk for strength, my primary weight before I head off for adventure is around 75, and my total carry weight is around 250-260, it's way more than enough to stay out for hours collecting numerous junk with no problem, meds, armor and food, my build is primary getting the increase damage and energy resistant perks that requires no power armor
I hardly do the main quests so I'm sure im missing out on alot, but I am always side tracked with the smaller events, exploring every little part of the regions, new buildings or little shacks that aren't marked on the map/or are waypoints to discover, loot hoarder to the max and a vendor seller selling for cheap cheap princes on all kinds of things (Meds for example, are 1/10th of the sell prices) legendary weapons and armor I sell for 1/10th of the prices Two Times the number of the stars it has so say it's a 405 value weapon/armor, I take off the last digit and times 40 by two, and Id sell it for around 80 (or a little morea) caps, if it was two stars I'd sell it for around 120 (or a little more) ect.
I usually have stacks around 100 silver or gold/crystals and other valuable junk, I don't hardly use them, so I sell them in my vendor around 25 -50 or sometimes a 100 for 1 cap each, except for gold/crystal and some other junk I sell for 2 caps a piece, I bundle my junk and sell those around 1/4th to 1/5th of the price, every little thing tends to sell and my stash box stays around 1,000 out of 1,200 or less depends on the selling and what I have collected, sometimes it gets a little high if I have a few legendries, and I have items of all types, keeping one of each apparel items I find in the stash and also one each on my character, incase anyone is wondering my armor with no power armor is around 525, and 380 energy resistance, that is with three + 35 to each armor and energy resistance armor that goes by how high my health is, and with a vampire auto melee weapon I usually am maintaining around high health when fighting things, and plus a vampire ranged weapon, I also have two pieces of armor that that increases defense and energy resistance by 20 each based on caps which I usually have above 35,000 or near max, I am always having caps coming in from vending and people buying out mainly my bundled junk, but everything tends to sell in my vending even if it's cheap it sells faster and hundreds of caps to a thousands or two a day plus selling to vendors to get around the 1,400 cap selling limit, and I mainly use my caps for ammo, even though I can make quite a bit and with how much I collect
But I never looked up any videos on how to play, how to have this or that build, and even if I come across one I seem to play totally different than the video explains, and do perfectly fine, can fight big enemies, hold a decent amount of loot, do fairly good damage, and make constant caps from vending machine, but I'd still want to have more carry weight, I eat all kinds of foods and drinks as Im always constantly cooking and have tons of cooked food on me, over time though once I get the strength perk maxed out I'll have maybe 280 or so carry weight naturally, which is nice with my average 75 weight to start and all the weight reduction perks to keep me out for hours before needing to really need to come back to my camp
you can get the pepperoni roll plan from the female vender at crater. Amazing video btw keep it up!
Yeah but it's way easier to buy it than craft it. Just my opinion. Thanks for the nice comment buddy ❤️
If you can get the recipe, yao guai pastry gives same carry weight as pepperoni roll and is easier to make (boiled water, yao guai meat and razor grain flour).
Great info!
I like to throw Solar Powered on as well. +1 to Strength & Endurance between 6am-6pm.
Cheers buddy !
You can get more strength from whiskey and deathclaw wellington. Gets even better with perks and carnivore. Also shielded lining under armors add strength
Thanks for the info! It’s good to know more ways to increase carry capacity. Your content is awesome!
Thanks for saying so buddy, I really do try my best to cover everything :)
man ive been overencumberd by 1k before with farming but u almost hit what i needed thanks =Edit) : got new sub bc this
glad I could help buddy :). Thank you for the sub
You’ve probably figured it out, but looks like the extra carry weight from your armor was because all of it was deep pocketed, which adds +10 per piece (giving +50 from just the armor without the effects of unyielding)
You can get the weight bench plan with gold bullion from Crater, not sure what level rep you need.
Love your vids!
Weight bench is sold at foundation for x amount of gold bullion. As far as I know it's still there.
1250 GB I think it is.
The (Stag) camp item is really clutch also it gives you 5 stag meat an hour and each peice gives me +50 carry weight. I am carnivore so I don't know if it's lower for others
Herbivore will not be able to take advantage of the deer meat 😕
@@MrWestTek They will be ok at the salad bar 🤣 there plate just won't be as big
You’ve got pocketed and deep pocketed too, that helps massively! 👌
ah good point. Should have mentioned that. I always let something slip lol.
Great video man, I learn something new everytime. 👍
The weight bench is 1250 gold bullion from like the raiders base and others. But it only lasts 30 minutes
Vault boy flexing in those blue Budgie smugglers 💪💀
Rad-Ant Lager is a frequent used item for me. +50 carry weight thanks to Carnivore and party-boy i think it was. Hardest part is getting the ant meat.
Also the weight bench is a gold bullion plan
you can get the weight bench from the gold trader in the crater
I come always for the beat in the background 😂
LOL I'm glad you like it :)
I'm a herbivore user and don't know of any strength boosts so I use Whisky as I use party girl perk which gives +6 str; also for sweetwater giving a whopping+15 perception. I picked herbivore due to a better bonus to int and agility.
Like I said in the video, if you're not worried about ranking up, I'd just use carnivore. Thanks for commenting :)
try making steeped fern flower tea. relatively easy and gives strength. having good with salt helps it last longer in your pack.
@@wintersteale I wish there was more to increase carry weight for a herbivore.
@@MrWestTek definitely since herbivore helps with agility & vats so much. Look at all the crap we need to scavenge & loot - NEED MORE CARRY ABILITY *shakes fist at Bethesda*
What gun is your main? I am trying to build an automatic rifle build and would love to hear what gun you’re using, thank you! Also, I love your vids 😁
Railway Rifle for commando and Holy Fire for heavy weapons :)
Bro is mad helpful

Thanks man :)
grilled radstag is great for carrying bonus and there is an itme on the new scoreboard that produce 5 every 50 minutes..

Great video. Thank you again for this helpful video.
Very happy to help 😁
I’ve gotta be honest I don’t know how you do a video on carry weight and leave out any mention of the weight reduction perks like Bear Arms, or traveling pharmacy, thru-hiker, etc since they are worth SOOO much more to carry capacity than just increasing the total carry weight stat.
Also, legendary weight reduction effects on armor.
My max carry weight is usually in the 450 range but if I bump to my crafting class with no weight reduction perks the 300 of that 450 that’s actually used becomes 1100+.
This video is about boosting carry weight, it's in the title.
Carry weight and storage capacity is like a strike between the legs from the developers. Now I have to loot only ammo and caps, dropping legendaries on the floor if I already have daily sell limit...
Excellent video!!! Forgot about the pepperoni roll!
you can get the recipe, can't remember where. now that there are regular events with gulpers, (one of the ingredients), it's well worth getting.
Me too for a bit. It's extremely useful.
They need to make food weight a lot less and never spoil when cooked. If it’s easy to find but it’s always spoiling then it’s just busy work and I’m so sick of trying to keep my food buffs in the inventory.
The raiders camp place you can get all of those things for gold
@3:50 you have deep pocketed armor therefore it gives you extra carry weight
Hi Mr. West Tek been really enjoying your videos but since I'm in an area where I must use hotspot I can't anymore when your videos are in HDR even in 480p and less. Too much data.
Thank you for all the great videos.
Good luck to you and your channel.
It seems your color profile is messed up in your video editor. It's causing the videos to look pretty washed out. Make sure you're exporting in YUV444 or RGB!
I get the feeling you've read through the Carry Weight article for 76. And if you did, thanks for enjoying my data collection.
It was a hell lotta work, but worth it for me.
New to the game. almost hig level 45 and im have been floating around 200 carry weight for most of the time. I need to at least go get this backpack quest started pronto. xD
I like keeping a rank 3 strongback in my deck, just as a safety net. I'll swap it out with a weapon perk to get home if I'm out of other options.
Not a bad idea!
As long as i keep my excavator power armor at 1250 weight i can still move quickly if a go over you walk slowly so its cool
I am a "Loot Goblin" too. I don't care how overly encumbered i become, soon as i spot a typewriter, hotplate or wandering wendigo, I make room for more.
I will walk the whole of Appalachia if i need to.😂 ✌️
Good day sir! Love your video but I’m wondering if you have a herbivore version of it?
Thanks for the nice comment. Unfortunately, being a carnivore is best for carry weight boosts. Although there are herbivore buffs. Not sure off the top of my head.
Well with a bloody build you rly can exchange the shield upgrades from the backpack to more carry weight even if doesnt seem to make any sense, but would you recommend it as a top upgrade for all builds?
Weightbench comes from the craters gold vendor
I wanted to ask a question unrelated to this video if I may. Your health bar is nearly completely red because of the rads you’ve been exposed to I assume. I’m brand new at this game pretty much. How do you have that many rads and seemingly so little health, yet manage to stay alive during combat? It looks like something could one-shot you!
It’s a bloodied build. The armour, perks and mods are designed so that when your character is low health/high rads, you deal more damage, a lot more damage.
@@kingshakah3380 Thank you VERY much for answering my question. 😃

Please can you tell what's that weapon you are using because its so cool and i want to know how to get it
