LG Washing Machine Detergent Drawer Overview.
I always forget where to put main detergent, fabric softener and prewash in which washing machine compartment before selecting a washing programme. In this video I will show you what goes in which compartment in the LG Washing Machine. This is on an LG WD-12650 Washing Machine but should be the same on other LG Washing Machines.
So if you keep forgetting then this will help you with which compartment to put the washing powder\liquid detergent in.

Im also from spain staying on a friends house and didnt have a clue where to put the detergent
Wife's away and she doesn't give very good instructions so your video is a life and ego saver! It told me precisely what to do to clean the gunk and mold ( ughh) AND how to load the detergent dispenser. I mean that's the most manual thing that you've got to do. Rest the machine does other than sorting which (and how much) clothes to put and putting them inside! And choosing the cycle! Wife didn't tell me about the fabric softener for instance and I didn't know where to put it. She only told about how much detergent was to be put and where and ASSUMED i should know it was SUPPOSED to be put! I mean c'mon! You should know how to give instructions to a novice. And btw I defied her and stashed away my old toothbrush as she throws away ALL my old ones. Came in handy didn't it! Now who's laughing! Thanks mate! Drinks on me if we ever meet! Cheers!

Great video! A tip for those battling mold or a moldy smell in their washer: after the last wash, leave the door to the drum AND the detergent compartment/drawer open. This helps more air to circulate, reducing mold growth. ;D

Didn't expect to find the exact video I needed but here I am. I couldn't see the logos on my detergent compartment anymore so I was having a tough time understanding where to put my fragrance detergent. This really helped.
Some tips from an old LG washing machine user:
You clean your detergent compartment with a toothbrush Its really effective. Also if the little holes, through which the water comes, gets clogged, we sometimes use needles very carefully to take out the salts and hard water stuff that gets accumulated overtime. Sometimes the reason for water blockage can be the area at the back of the machine where you attach the water pipe, u can clean that with a brush as well. Also make sure to run an empty machine once in a while and clean the little compartment at the bottom present at the front to make sure that your machine stays clean and hygienic from the inside.

Hi mate, on my washing machine in the fabric sofner department there’s a little cap covering the hole, do I remove this cap from the hole as I’ve been using the machine with this cap on and putting sofner in this department and all this waxy stuff appeared under the drawer
It's probably just the measuring device. Best leave it in but every few washes just remove the dispenser drawer and give it a wash and clean
