How to Remove & Clean Detergent Dispenser Tray on LG Front Load Washing Machines-Date: 10/1/2020

In this video I show you how to remove, disassemble and clean the detergent dispenser tray and product cups on LG front load washing machines. Most front load washing machines should have a way to be able to remove this tray so it can be removed from the washer, taken apart and cleaned.
Please refer to your owners manual or find your washing machine's owners manual online for your specific manufacture and model of washer to find out how to remove and clean your detergent dispenser tray.

Thank you for making the video! I could not get the drawer back in after cleaning. Something was blocking it. From your video I rechecked the tabs on the baskets and sure enough...the softener tabs were not fully clicked down. Can you imagine calling someone in to "fix" it and he walks in, snaps it in and charges $200.00? Thank you, Kevin.

One thing you can do is after you finish a laundry run is to run the tub clean cycle so it rinses any residue out. This is what I do after I finish the last load of a laundry run so the residue doesn't have a chance to dry out making harder to clean later on.

I don't really know. But any soap residue may cause an oversudsing problem in the dishwasher. Plus you don't want any fabric softener that may be left behind in the dishwasher when finished to get all over the next load of dishes.
