At age 60, I just started using Cera Ve Vitamin C Serum. I would like to see you talk on a segment about skin over 60 and what we should be doing at our age in particular. Love watching you, Dr. Shereene!
Hi L. Wood. Isn't Dr. Shereene so much fun to watch?!! Love her! I thought I'd respond to your comment, and hope this helps. I have been watching "HotandFlashy" on UA-cam. She is not a Derm nor Cosmetologist; however, much of what she says and does is very closely in line with what MANY of the popular Derms, like Dr. Idriss, speak about. She is 60 and is really down to earth and tells it like it is. She not only talks about skincare for us "wiser" women, but also makeup. So a double wammy, and if you are at all into makeup, you might enjoy her. She has really helped me, as I'm new to having a skin care routine and also older and need help ;) . I only watch her for skincare stuff, I'm not big on makeup.

Timeless is my fave Vitamin C because it has E and ferulic acid like Skinceuticals BUT the packaging of Timeless is FAR better with its opaque container and pump top. @@megleland6320 Have you tried keeping it in your refrigerator? I’ve been using one for more than 3 months and I haven’t seen any indication of oxidation (it’s still clear.) Agree the pump is not well made but for the price I can tolerate that.
I reaaally appreciate this topic. My routine is, tonight i use The Ordinary 7% glycolic acid, tomorrow night i use Paula' Choice 2% Salacylic acid, and the day after tomorrow i use retinol. It works for my skin. Thank you for much Dr. Shereene for making dermatology advice accessible to everyone

Dr Sherreen, most likely I’m one of not so many men that has subscribed and have watched many of your detailed talks. It’s astounding how many skin care products there are now. I had bad acne way back when there was basically only Clearasil & Retin A. As many know bad acne is most / very often hereditary. My daughters have acne .. somewhat less severe. Both have tried so / too many products and your info really helps a lot to figure out which ones might help them.
Ah, I love retinol and salicylic acid! I stumbled upon this beautiful combination recently and it has transformed my skin. No more acne! I have very sensitive skin so I am very basic with my skincare routine. The only topical active I used was retinol. I have been on sipronolactone for 6 months and it has produced tolerable results. Definite control of my cystic acne but I continued to have 2 cystic acne pimples at a time. This combination completely changed that 🙌🏼🙌🏼. I have very sensitive skin but after 2 years on retinol and 6 months on Spironolactone and after watching your videos on SA I added it to my routine. I am seriously obsessed with my skin now! It is acne free and SO healthy! Thank you for all of your evidence-based education! Your personality and delivery are 👌🏼👌🏼 and your evidenced-based content is what social media needs!
@@Sam-dp5op I use it at night. It’s in my cleanser so I let it sit on my skin for 3-5 minutes in the shower. When I get out of the shower I put on a moisturizer. Typically I will wait an hour or two and then put the retinol on right before I head to bed. If my skin is feeling extra sensitive I will top the moisturizer with Vaseline and skip the retinol.
I have been using a vitamin C oil during the day under my sunscreen. At night I use some sort of retinol product...I also use niacinamide 2x a day with a moisturizer according to the weather and my skin needs at the time. I am 54. If you dedicate yourself it certainly can help.
I was using CeraVe vitamin C and face wash last summer. Now I'm using PTR anti aging face wash and Glow Recipe vitamin C serum and I have to say, my dark circles are no more!!
Timeless 20%. I get the 4oz bottle when they have their 40% off during the holidays and it lasts almost a year with no oxidation. I keep it in my skincare fridge and I’ve never had an issue.
I am still getting carded…and I’m turning 45!!! I love these combos especially Vit C + sunscreen. I absolutely recommend the MaeLove line….Vit C Glow Serum (amazing dupe for Skinceuticals), Glycolic Night Renewer, Nia10 and Sun Protector. I have been using these products for years and they are amazing and so affordable. I always get asked how I have no wrinkles and smooth clear skin…I always recommend using vit C, acids, retinol, and sunscreen. I live in S FL so I don’t use retinol too often. I found bakuchiol works really well too.
I’ve been using Maelove for 2 yrs and I love it! I use the vit c, niacinamide, B5 gel and the glycolic cream. Everyone speaks so highly of the Timeless vit c, I may try that one next.
I was wondering if you're planning on including international shipping for your products? That would be amazing! Thanks for the video, I love how how straight to the point you are with no pre,- or interludes whatsoever, just pure information, it's perfect! Most of the time I'm using Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F from The Ordinary, or their Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin (on days where I need an extra glow). But I always put on top of them Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% for an extra antioxidant push, before rounding all up with my stratia "liquid gold" to keep my barrier strong and my hero "force shield" as the last step.
Out of many, many vit c serums I’ve tried, I finally fell in love with Geek & Gorgeous vit c. For some reason, this is the only one that does not irritate my sensitive, rosacea ridden skin. Highly recommend, and cheap !!!
My favorite vitamin C is the PureC10 by la Roche posay it’s a 10% ascorbic acid and it also has their neurosensine ingredient in it and I have super sensitive and reactive skin and this almost soothes my skin instead of irritating it with the vitamin C so to me the combination with the neurosensine is a game changer
Favorite Vitamin C is Timeless. Favorite Sunscreens are Supergoop unseen for days I wear makeup, or Beauty of Joseon for non cosmetic days. Learn so much from you….Thank you for all of your hard work!
The last time I ordered Timeless Vit C + Ferulic + Vit E combo it came in the newer bright yellow, pump style jar. Seemed okay for first few days, then I noticed a dark brown 'leak' starting where the formula portion of the bottle and the pump portion of the bottle were joined ... the seam. I wiped the outside of the bottle off, but a few days later the dark brown leak reappeared. This kept happening over and over again (I did not contact the company), so just basically used it up since the serum itself that would pump out didn't appear discolored. The next time I needed to replenish, I just tried Skinceuticals which seems to be okay (dropper style) but I have to use very little as it seems much more oily and doesn't absorb very quickly.
I love the timeless vit c 20% Its basically a skinceuticals dupe but it works so much better for me than SC AND it’s in a pump bottle, not a dropper bottle.
I have very normal skin with only few melasma spots round my pores in the upper cheek area. I've been using Garnier Vitamic C Express Clarant Serum and cream (the name could vary in the US, not sure) and even when it's a "cheap" product, I haven't seen my face clearer & lighter like I do now ever before. Dr. Idriss is my all time fav Derm Dr. She's a rock star 💖💖💖
I also use the garnier vitamin c serum, the one i get has 3o ethyl ascorbate, niacinimide and salicylic acid and I love using it, do you use the same one?
Thanks for the awesome video, Dr Idriss! Fave Vitamin C serums are La Roche-Posay's Vitamin C (which comes with salicylic acid too) and Maelove's Glowmaker 🥰
I've been using Vanicream's new Vitamin C serum. It has glycerine, ceramides, and tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate. I use it in the morning under my sunscreen, so it sounds like I've been doing it right!
For me in particular Niacinamide + Tretinoin did the trick. Niacinamide is IMO one of the best supporting players for Tretinoin because it helps reduce the irritation along all the other good things it does...
Any comments in the mean time about combos for eczema skin are greatly appreciated. I have two steroid based creams that I try to use sparingly. Also I haven’t picked at my skin in 10-14 days. Last night I extracted 3 or 4 blackheads on my chin that I know I shouldn’t of. I kept treating them and they just got bigger!!!! I wasn’t touching them. I’d wear my acne dots at night so any drool while sleeping wouldn’t activate my eczema or cause more blackheads. Just weird blackheads I’ve never seen on my chin before. Like I stop touching my face & do everything right & they appear?! Now it’s just like 2 bigger pores on my chin and the others are tiny I don’t think I even extracted fully cuz I stopped myself as I knew it wasn’t worth it. Then my dog as if she knew got me and forced me to stop. Love her so much.
I've had eczema on my feet, face, right thumb and hairline my entire life and avoiding harsh soaps, wearing a glove when I do dishes, avoiding hard cleaning chemicals, avoiding stress and aquaphor multiple times a day have helped me not use the steroids I have prescribed. And get a silk or satin pillowcase so your skincare won't leech off at night
I really like the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M, I use it for my face mostly and body sometimes, but for the body I prefer Aveeno Dermexa daily emollient cream. And if you are in the UK or Ireland, boots has a great shower cream in their pharmacies in the dermatitis section.
I found even with eczema and dry skin I was getting blackheads and milia. I cant use anything comedogenic. Squalane is fine in products, but other oils would just clog my pores. I'll share my routine, I've sensitive skin with eczema and rosacea, this is my routine atm; I wash face with tepid water in am, I then dry face, spray avene spring water on face. apply vichy 89 serum, a small pea sized amount of la roche-posay lipikar and then an spf. At night I use bioderma micellar water to remove make up, cerave hydrating cleanser with a microfiber flannel, I then use a prescription azealic acid, niacinimide and tretinoin combination from skin&me, then use the same as am routine but with lrp cicaplast instead of spf to seal skincare and seems to be working a treat for me tbh xx
I have eczema and urea its amazing for me, for the body I use a brand called Lactovit (it's literally less than a 100mxn) and its on amazon US for 10usd (it has urea, lactic acid and retinol), for the face I use Malezia which has 5% urea ($23usd). And for any sort of pimple/pustule/blackhead I use the benzoyl peroxide by Malezia too, above their moisturizer. While I have eczema I tend to be on the oilier side so anything too heavy is bad for me, as I too have perioral dermatitis, and tend to get gram-negative folliculitis, so I prefer something not too heavy and if I need to pack a punch I'll just add a couple of straight up caprylic acid oil to my face, squalane, or a very thin layer of vaseline (avoiding my PD areas).
My daughter is going to do light therapy on her hands for eczema three times a week for 5 minutes a day. I wonder if a Dr. would prescribe this for the face?
Timeless 20% Vitamin C is the only one I've ever tried and it works well for my skin. Pairs great with my Undefined R&R sunscreen. I love the Peach Slices Cica and snail mucin all-in-one moisturizer for keeping redness at bay after a MFFM night. I am enormously grateful for your travel video tip on using the glycerine and rose water mister! This has saved my skin this winter! I had such a damaged skin barrier because I work in a research lab with super dry air. I ended up with a staph infection on my face and a deep scar :( With your care I am getting my grape face back! Thank you x1000!
I have a tiny jar of the dr jart green stuff and i highly recommend it if you’re super pale with flushing on cheeks/chin and want a nice base for makeup and/or you’re going to be photographed.
Thank you for your help on you tube n instagram that finally at 46 years of age , I have the best skin of my life just by doing two things Tretinoin n Glycolic acid.
I like the premium version of Melano CC's vitamin C serum. It's great bang for buck. The package instructs like 5 drops for the face so I do that every morning before sunscreen and the tiny tube lasts well over 3 months.
I just found Nacomi Vitamin C 15% and I'm loving it. It has 10% Ascorbic Acid, 3% Sodium ascorbyl phosphate and 2% Ascorbyl glucoside. Very affordable too and it absorbs so well!
We really need a pillow talkderm cleanser and an eye cream, and then II can finally clear out everything else cluttering my sink. Absolutely loving using the pillow talk derm trio. And also you’re wearing my favorite necklace 😊 I ‘ve been looking for something similar.
I used to really like Paula’s choice vit c 15. They changed the formulation in the last few months and their new one inflames my skin like crazy. Red splotches everywhere !
I’ve used MaeLove skincare for 2 yrs and I really love the Glowmaker serum and the niacinamide. The glycolic night cream is great too! Everyone speaks so highly of the Timeless vit c, I may try that when I’m out of the MaeLove.
My favorite Vitamin C at the moment is Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum. I have also enjoyed using NEOGEN DERMALOGY REAL VITA C SERUM. Your video on Vitamin C, posted two years ago, really helped my skincare routine, and the last combo has truly enhanced my skin.
My skin care routine is not only done on my face, but my neck, chest and the back of my hands. I would live this lifestyle and use the same skin routine even if I didn’t live in Florida. We have another home in Holland Park, England. I do the exact same thing whilst in England. My mum is French and my father is Lebanese. Mum has gorgeous skin and she always told me, “The sun will ruin your skin.” My father has a beautiful dark skin tone with a golden hue, as does my husband.
Love your videos!! I would love a video for the perfect day and night routines for redness and dry skin. I have tried to find products for every step the routine cheat sheet you posted a while ago. But get confused with all the products out there😅 how i can and can't combine products... also a video with tips on spot treatment products for that step 😊 see you next Saturday 🌟
For the retinol + salicylic acid combo, do you suggest skin cycling both products (i.e. Monday pm- Salicylic acid then Tuesday pm- Retinol...) or Can they be used the same day, just different times? (i.e. Monday am- Salicylic acid & Monday pm- Retinol...) or if skin is not sensitive & can tolerate it (i.e. Monday pm- Salicylic acid + retinol)
10:57 My Favourite Vit C would be Sunday Riley CEO 15% Vitamin C. I love that it comes in a pump & I emptied 3 of them altho I came to believe that it might cause a little breakout now (after 3 emptied bottles?) so I have to put a brake on Vitamin C & other actives. Now I’m stripping back to basic: Cleanser, Moisturiser & Sunscreen.
Absolutely love your videos, have learned so much in the last year or so. I'm a pharmacist so your deep dives are completely up my street. I have had a reaction to my previous vit C serum and since then my skin no longer tolerates vit c serums of any kind (well, the few I tried since). I now use an alternative antioxidant serum and the Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Protect Lotion with SPF30 which I love and my skin still tolerates. Please please could you do a deep dive to alternative anti oxidant serums for those like me who cannot use vit c serums any longer? Lots of love from Scotland x

February, it's also Black History Month 🖤! Thank you so much, Dr. Idriss, for consistently being inclusive in your recommendations and looking out for us darker complexion sisters :D. I have loved capping off my nighttime routine with LRP's Cicaplast Baume B5 since learning about it from you a few years ago. As you suggested, I slather it on at night, so the rest of the world can't see how crazy and chalky it looks on my brown skin 😆. I would be overjoyed to see you do a video highlighting Black-owned brands this month. And even seeing product suggestions from companies that specialize in helping other minoritized or underrepresented communities. Love all the work you do 💕. Thank you!!
I’m really grateful that you recommend more products than just your own. It’s so cool to have your own brand and obviously you’d be passionate about it, but if you only ever suggested your own products it’d totally call into question the authenticity of your suggestions 😅 Thanks for these videos!
Thanks for another great video Shereene 😊 I'm currently using the Timeless Vit C/ferulic acid, which is great. It has a watery consistency but initially feels a bit oily on the skin, but absorbs well. It comes in a pump, and I've had it open for a few months without it becoming discoloured. It's quite similar (but much cheaper) to the Paula's choice Vit C, but that is in a dropper and even though I was careful to close it properly it turned orange in a few weeks. I also don't mind the Q and A Vit C which is opaque and has the consistency of a like a light watery cream.
La Roche Posay Vit C works really well for my sensitive, oily skin. EVERYTHING gives me acne. (still looking for a moisturizer that wont give me acne if you have any advice.) But the Roche Posay Vit C is one of the scant amount of products that does not give me acne and feels AMAZING, no matter what climate I'm in. For the salicylic acids, I just wanted to add, the Tula version has been a game changer for me and it's another one to wear under makeup. Once I found that, I was able to calm my acne down and finally start incorporating more products in to my routine.
I’ve been super into Korean skincare and I go to the stylevana website and see the top rated products and I haven’t been disappointed. I’m using the Rohto Mentholatum - Rohto Melano CC Brightening Vitamin C Moisturizing Cream … so cheap and love it… Btw..I have all your products and I love love love them. I already restocked the serum ❤ I got complimented on my skin yesterday. You don’t know how good it felt after struggling with acne for years..
Through personal expermentation Retinol and Salicyclic Acid do work well together. So does Retinol and Azelic acid especially for acne scars. I just make sure to use water base moisturizer before applying acids & in between the acids and Retinol.
Hi there! Geek any Gorgeous C-glow 15% vitamin c has made a huge difference on my 59 years old skin. It has Ferulic Acid and vitamin E and it’s the first vitamin c I’ve ever used. No irritation or burning at all. It’s a Hungarian brand, very easily accessible to us European ladies. Love your videos 👍❤️❤️❤️
I went to NYC from Norway to visit my friend who worked there in October last year, and I picked up the Walgreens Vitamin C serum, and I love it! It´s the first vitamin C product that doesn't sting the crap out of my face
my favorite vitamin C so far is "elmt 20% pure vitamin C". i love that it comes with a pump tinted container that helps not to alter the active ingredient. ive been using it for months now together with my sunscreen in the morning and im definitely loving the result.
Oh boy! I am so glad I found you! I am 72 and have never found any skincare product I am happy with so I only use water to wash my face and I have no skincare routine ... don’t wear any makeup other than eyeshadow powder and eyeliner 😳😳... Vitamin C’s: Timeless is the one I’m currently using daily but the one no one ever talks about that was the one that really convinced me vitamin C actually works is the Clinique Fresh Pressed, which I will still use a couple times a year for an extra boost!
My favorite vit C is your Active Seal!!! I use 1/2 pump otherwise it irritates my skin, but boy it makes my skin look soooo plump and glowy!!! I love how light it is, because my rosace does not like thick creams.
LOVE Dermelect Self Esteem Beauty Sleep Serum. It's Glycolic, salicylic & L-Ascorbic Acid together in a magic potion. I use it at night. Also important to check the PH level of the C you use to make sure it can penetrate the skin.
My favorite Vitamin C is the Timeless 20% Vitamin C + Ferulic Acid Serum. I follow it with the Timeless Coenzyme Q10, a light moisturizer and sunscreen under my makeup
I desperately want to try the holy grail of Vitamin C serums, Skinceuticals, but, I simply cannot afford it these days and that's ok. Thanks to this community, I discovered Timeless, and while I don't have anything to compare it with, I'm very pleased. PLUS, it doesn't deplete my bank account. Major bonus! Hi Dr. Idriss! First, you're a gem! Second, can you please do a video on skincare for children? Other than sunscreen, I'm not sure what to do. Maybe nothing, but since you have kiddos, I'm curious on your thoughts. Best :)
The Vit C product I've been using lately is the Olay Regenerist Brightening Vitamin C Serum. I use this because you said it had a form of Vit C that is shelf stable and good for acne prone skin. Before this I was using Timeless, but I think it was contributing to breakouts. Thank you for your videos. I've learned so much over the years.
My current vitamin C based cream is REN gel creme eclat a la vitamine C and I’m combining it in the morning with ISDIN FotoUltra 100 active unify. Thanks Dr. Idriss for offering us your expertise, can’t wait for your products to be shipped internationally!!!
My favorite vitamine C is the C-Glow from Geek and Gorgeous ! It is a water-like 15% Vitamin C + extra antioxidants (Ferulic Acid & Vitamin E) formula. Just love it 😍
I love Eucerin Vitamin C. The vitamin C is separated beforehand and you have to pump it in yourself by pressing this small rubber button at the back. It guarantees that the vitamin C is totally fresh and hasn't had the chance to oxidize!
Thank you so much for this video! I know I'm late to the party watching it a year later; however, I was looking for this specific information. You are so fun to watch! My favorite vitamin C's are Timeless 20%, DRMTLGY CEF, and Kiehls Line Reducing 12% Vit C. I love how the Kiehl's leaves a matte finish, which I like during the day under my makeup.
Appreciate the retinol/sal acid explanation. Ive been alternating l’oreal retinol and paula’s choice sal acid each night for months now (thx to you!) and my aesthetician has noticed my pores appear smaller and my skin overall seems less congested.
I took your recommendation on the Sunday Riley vitamin C. It’s definitely one if my most pricey products but I can’t deny it’s one of my favorites. My skin loves it! So, permanent place in the line up.
Your videooos are so helpful thank you à lot ! I am using a combin serum glycolic and salicylic from ceraVe so i do not understand if it it the exfoliating step and if i have to put another serum after ? Thanksss

Your personality and delivery are 👌🏼👌🏼 and your evidenced-based content is what social media needs!
do you use the salicylic acid in the morning or at night with the retinol?
@@Sam-dp5op I use it at night. It’s in my cleanser so I let it sit on my skin for 3-5 minutes in the shower. When I get out of the shower I put on a moisturizer. Typically I will wait an hour or two and then put the retinol on right before I head to bed. If my skin is feeling extra sensitive I will top the moisturizer with Vaseline and skip the retinol.
My question also!?
I am pretty sure she said be careful using both at night
I have been using a vitamin C oil during the day under my sunscreen. At night I use some sort of retinol product...I also use niacinamide 2x a day with a moisturizer according to the weather and my skin needs at the time. I am 54. If you dedicate yourself it certainly can help.
I'm currently struggling with discoloration so i really appreciate this. Thank you so much :3
I was using CeraVe vitamin C and face wash last summer.
45!!!!!!!!
Wow!!!!!!!
You GO GIRL!
International shipping please Shereen!! We love you, from Aotearoa NZ oxo
International Shipping for your product,pls
Started using Perricone MD Vitamin C serum every morning under my sunblock. My skin seems to love the combination so far.
Out of many, many vit c serums I’ve tried, I finally fell in love with Geek & Gorgeous vit c. For some reason, this is the only one that does not irritate my sensitive, rosacea ridden skin. Highly recommend, and cheap !!!
Recently used Cicaplast baume B5 for a week after a nasty bout of perioral dermatitis and worked wonders ❤️ always great to have on hand.
you should make skin care on Rosacea, im in true pain every day and lost on skin care
This was great information and so helpful to me! As always, my Saturday is not complete without your engaging and fun video! Thank you!!! ❤️
I love the timeless vit c 20%
Its basically a skinceuticals dupe but it works so much better for me than SC AND it’s in a pump bottle, not a dropper bottle.
I use (and love) this one too!
First Dr dray and second doctor Shereen omg these two both are perfect dermatologist for me I love u Both
I've been using Vanicream's new Vitamin C serum.
You are hilarious! Do you have a simple skin care routine for 60 year Olds? Appreciate it
How about north of 60 as well???
I found even with eczema and dry skin I was getting blackheads and milia. I cant use anything comedogenic. Squalane is fine in products, but other oils would just clog my pores. I'll share my routine, I've sensitive skin with eczema and rosacea, this is my routine atm;
I wash face with tepid water in am, I then dry face, spray avene spring water on face. apply vichy 89 serum, a small pea sized amount of la roche-posay lipikar and then an spf.
I have heard that this is excellent. Women in UK love it and it is hard to get there. At Target here
The Laroche Posay and Avene she recommended for centella DOESNT CONTAIN CENTELLA!!??
I have a tiny jar of the dr jart green stuff and i highly recommend it if you’re super pale with flushing on cheeks/chin and want a nice base for makeup and/or you’re going to be photographed.
Thank you for your help on you tube n instagram that finally at 46 years of age , I have the best skin of my life just by doing two things Tretinoin n Glycolic acid.
Hands down, I love Mad Hippie’s Vitamin C Serum!! It’s a lovely product and layers so nicely under sunscreen 🧡
I like the premium version of Melano CC's vitamin C serum. It's great bang for buck. The package instructs like 5 drops for the face so I do that every morning before sunscreen and the tiny tube lasts well over 3 months.
I like the LaRoche Posay Vitamin C cream. It's spendy, but I buy it when CVS sends me coupons. 😃
You know that she never reccomend eyecream
I used to really like Paula’s choice vit c 15. They changed the formulation in the last few months and their new one inflames my skin like crazy. Red splotches everywhere !
This was so informative and CLEAR! Thank you so much for your work!
I use Mad Hippie as well! I like that it doesn't smell terrible, and seems very stable.
I've finally understood why skinfluencers & dermatologists recommend using vit C and sunscreen together. Great information!
I use C glow by geek and gorgeous. My favorite sunscreen is beauty of Joseon
Geek & gorgeous C glow as for my fave vit C.
Thanks for an amazing, informative video, as always
I love the farmacy vitamin c. Pump and opaque bottle - good ingredients!
Morning 😊 Timeless 20% vitamin C ferulic acid and vitamin E. And light as air sunscreen for face.
Love the acure vitamin C...one of my favorites...love timeless and dr brenner too!
Hi Dr shereene , I absolutely love your videos, exciting and inspiring. Thank you for sharing this information, and making things clear to us all. X
I second this request for antioxidants other than vitamin c. 😊
La première fois que je vais commenter, je suis marocaine but j’habite aux USA depuis longtemps, tout ce que je veux dire que je vous apprécie beaucoup et que j’adore ton humeur 😊
Yesss Stylevana🙌
Through personal expermentation Retinol and Salicyclic Acid do work well together. So does Retinol and Azelic acid especially for acne scars. I just make sure to use water base moisturizer before applying acids & in between the acids and Retinol.
Looking forward to that vitamin C video!!! Cliffhanger
CEO by Sunday Riley, I haven’t tried others though so it’s my one and only, rather than favorite. I love its bottle, smell, and texture
Hi there! After cleansing and rose water I use Florence vitamin C, E and hyaluronic acid serum along with a VISEGER PHARMA Gel Cream oil free Vitamin C SPF50+ together in my morning routine, together they make my skin feel so wonderful, fresh and protected, I love it. I’m 52, sensitive skin living in Galicia, Spain. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Abrazo 🤗
After several Vit C us end during last decade, my HG for quality and price is The C glow by Geek and Gorgeous! European only! Love love love 💕
I went to NYC from Norway to visit my friend who worked there in October last year, and I picked up the Walgreens Vitamin C serum, and I love it! It´s the first vitamin C product that doesn't sting the crap out of my face
Prob its pH is high so it doesn't sting, but at the same time it doesn't work either.
my favorite vitamin C so far is "elmt 20% pure vitamin C". i love that it comes with a pump tinted container that helps not to alter the active ingredient. ive been using it for months now together with my sunscreen in the morning and im definitely loving the result.
C-Glow by Geek&Gorgeous is the best vitamin C serum I have ever used! I tried different forms, but I always go back to this one.
Oh boy! I am so glad I found you! I am 72 and have never found any skincare product I am happy with so I only use water to wash my face and I have no skincare routine ... don’t wear any makeup other than eyeshadow powder and eyeliner 😳😳... I’m going to start fresh and see where this takes me. I bought some gentle cleanser ( Vanicream Gentle Wash) and used for a week just to make sure my sensitive skin would tolerate it. A week ago I added a Maelove Glow taking it very slow.. now I need to find a SPF ( would like to try tinted) that is not heavy or greasy. I am loving your channel!!! Thank you for helping us make smart decisions with skin care ❤️.
Such a lovely message, Nadine. Just thought to send a message to say that ISDIN has a good range of SPFs including very light weight lotions, some of them tinted. I currently use one of their tinted SPF lotions which I love. Take care, hope you find something you like 🙂
Vitamin C’s: Timeless is the one I’m currently using daily but the one no one ever talks about that was the one that really convinced me vitamin C actually works is the Clinique Fresh Pressed, which I will still use a couple times a year for an extra boost!
I switched from skinceuticals to matter of fact vitamin c and am loving it!
I'm loving the Loréal 10% pure Vitamine C under my sunscreen by Attitude.
My favorite vit C is your Active Seal!!! I use 1/2 pump otherwise it irritates my skin, but boy it makes my skin look soooo plump and glowy!!! I love how light it is, because my rosace does not like thick creams.
Mad hippie vitamin C serum...have been using it for 3 years now and i love it, retails for 30$ and it's so so so good!!
I use L’Oreal Vitamin C in the cold months. In the spring and summer, Timeless or Maelove.
C e ferulic is my holy grail and beauty of Joseon sunscreen is the ultimate combination for me !!!
I use the Vichy Liftactiv Peptide-C with SPF 30 Moisturizer. Sunscreen and Vitamin C in one. 👍🏻
LOVE Dermelect Self Esteem Beauty Sleep Serum. It's Glycolic, salicylic & L-Ascorbic Acid together in a magic potion. I use it at night. Also important to check the PH level of the C you use to make sure it can penetrate the skin.
I've tried Timeless Vit C 20%, Geek&Gorgeous C glow, Paula's Choice C15 booster, and now using Maelove Glowmaker, and liked all 4 of them.
I'm using every single day The Ordinary Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15%... I love it..
I really do love Sunday Riley's C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum, BUT currently using PillowtalkDerm's Major Face Active Seal and I love it too!
My current vitamin C based cream is REN gel creme eclat a la vitamine C and I’m combining it in the morning with ISDIN FotoUltra 100 active unify. Thanks Dr. Idriss for offering us your expertise, can’t wait for your products to be shipped internationally!!!
La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C Cream paired with a good SPF 50. The serums always feel tacky so this cream based formulation is *chef's kiss*.
My favorite vitamine C is the C-Glow from Geek and Gorgeous ! It is a water-like 15% Vitamin C + extra antioxidants (Ferulic Acid & Vitamin E) formula. Just love it 😍
Fave Vit C: Active Seal!! It’s so easy, it doesn’t smell funky, and I trust it’s been formulated to actually to its job ✨
hi Dr. Shereene! I would love to see an updated hair care video :)
One of my favorite combo in the morning is Silymarin CF Skinceuticals + ISDIN Fotoprotector 50spf FusionWater
And Vitamin C. I never forget to apply Vitamin C! I’ve just started using Retinol, but a low percentage as you suggested. I’ll build up as I go along!
I use "C the Light" serum from Aloette
Thanksss
I’d like to suggest you to do videos about best lasers and what you have done in the past 5 years
You should also do clothing hauls…Your clothes and jewellery look so amazing in every video ❤
Oskia Super C capsules. Great for travelling, can use a small container to pack. I have sensitive skin and these are lovely
What an interesting and informative video. For the past year I’ve been using Dr. Brenner Vitamin C serum and love the results!
