The Caribbean caught me, would love to sail there, but Norway, Scotland, Ireland, and England are really compelling. It's great to see something thats different from the other channels. Your content and creativity is really stunning. Just the right balance of sailing, shore life, projects, and life on board. Brilliant! Looking forward to the cat build. Plus only 101 comments on such a outstanding episode is a crime. Thought I'd help with one more.

Hi been following you for a while . And i can't believe your in my home town . I use to live on the Barbican opposite a pub called The Three Crowns. And all those cobbles stones your walking on i laid them about 27 years ago . And repaired some more areas around where the Pilgrim Fathers steps are. And lift for the USA all those years ago . There's a breakwater in Plymouth sound which protect the harbor from 5 meter waves . I hope the both of you enjoyed your winter in plymouth . Hope you return one day

Nice to see you made it safe into Plymouth. One of my main goals this year was to sail out of the Bristol Channel, around Lands End an pop into Plymouth. I drove to Plymouth about 18 months ago visiting Plymouth college of Art with my daughter and it was a lovely place. I understand there are 3 marina's there, hopefully I might still make it. But will have to see how long this lockdown lasts for. Stay safe both, cheers Lee from South Wales.

For some reason it was especially nice hearing your voices this morning. May be all this sheltering in place. So bless you for you morning visit, really appreciated.
Really nice job of alternating between drone shots and handheld shots for an overview of the marina and surrounding areas.
I know you'll relate the berthing costs (did I say that right?) later, I couldn't help but think, expensive, when you described the great setup you have behind closed locks and protection. Definitely worth it for all the peace of mind during your winter stay (and then you captured how huge the benefit is going to be!). I could tell how thrilled you were that regular warm showers were also included!!
Claire's story contrasting her childhood and her adult experiences was cute. It's interesting how our perspectives change with our age.
Two Bridges Hotel looked really charming. "...and the cream!" Sounds like a winner.
James and Claire seemed really nice and hosted you both to a wonderful day. The chicken pie looks like it was going to be delicious.
Thanks for brightening the morning. Hoping you two (and Georgie) are warm, safe, dry and fairing well in Plymouth during the craziness.

Wondered if you'd be running into Dan and Kika when you said you were going into Sutton Marina. I was in a play in our local Little Theatre here called The Hound of the Baskervilles. It was a comedy spoof of the Sherlock Holmes story. A lot of it was set on Dartmoor, or Dartmoo' as it was referred to in the play. So it was great to see what Dartmoor , and the tors, actually looks like.

This episode brought to you by Sutton harbor marina where unicorns bring your coffee every morning and the showers include a happy ending every time! I hope there was a deep discount. Welcome to England, here is one of our beautiful parks (camera pans over a logged clear cut). Wow, I'm glad we didn't wait until all the trees were cut to form national parks. At least that oven at the end was neat.

You are in my home waters. Half way between Sutton Harbour and the city centre is a pub called The Minerva which claims to be the oldest pub in Plymouth. I can’ vouch for that but I can recommend the draft cider, which is made by the local brewers Hunts and is called Bull Walloper. If you think a cream tea is amazing, try a couple of pints of that stuff. You will giggle all the way back to the boat.

Dartmoor, the land that time forgot!
Scotland brags it has four seasons in one day, the Moor often has four seasons in ten minutes!
Along with most Bootnecks, I spent much time up there, training. I have an on off relationship with it.
Like the girlfriend who is a total social hand grenade, capable of ruining any important family occasion but is so incredible in bed that all is forgiven, the Moor has many moods.
From the hot days of July or August, listening to Skylarks ascend, as I lay in lonely OPs, to the impenetrable fog (clag ,we call it) where you absolutely have to trust your compass and nav skills, to the freezing horizontal sleet in winter. And the ankle breaking tussock grass and the waist deep bogs ...
And not forgetting the sheer joy that is Okehampton Battle Camp.
How I miss that old bastard of a place.
Two Bridges is a good pub but I prefer the Plume of Doom for a good day time session , plus I always trapped more in the Plume.
Stay safe you two, this won`t last forever.

Maybe you should google it then edit it out, it was also in the previous episode! Somethings just dont translate from American to English well. But it does of course depend on how you spell it whilst speaking.
