Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase. The House of the dragon was crumbling and the events that was about to follow would only cause more damage to both sides of the war.

The Cargyl brothers fight is one of the things I'm looking forward to see in the second season. I hope they nail it & hopefully Ramin Djawadi does the thing to make the scene much more powerful & emotional. This has to be good!
I have no doubt in my mind that Ramin Djawadi will do his thing. His score make certain scene more powerful than what they are.

Talking of: The Prince that was promised, The Power of Prophecy, The Green Dress, The Crown of Jaehaerys, House Velaryon. Just to mention a few, and I can already see him taking it to another level in season 2.

The map has improved a lot and it’s amazing 🤩!
It’ll be more poetic if they go with the version where they killed each other. It takes less of the impact away where you kill one but the other survive especially for a short time like 4 days
Ser Erryk was a true knight, more so than his faithless brother.

@@Heisenberg882 Outside of the maesters who work for the greens and a few lords hardly anyone has any knowledge of history books.
Most ppl cant even read or have any education.
All they know is who their current king is.
All kings since the dance are the descendant of rheneyra.
So she won.
What a musty book no one but maesters and nerdy lords like Sam tarly read hardly matters at all
@@drrohanjacob5343 You do realise every lord reads history not just nerds? It’s considered essential education, lord like Stannis the Mannis recognise Rhaenyra as a traitor. Even every Targaryen king that followed, Rhaenyra’s descendants, saw her as the traitor she was.

Decades later Viserys the second spun the whole illegitiamate thing so he could deny daena the defiant the throne.
