  • NEW EPISODE of @niceandneatthepodcast available on all streaming platforms‼️
(EP. 115) Always Respect Your Woman: A Lesson In Clickbait (EP. 115)
At times we hear that we’ve become un-relatable at times and the audience want us to tap into the early days of Nice & Neat when Jalon was single, Duke & Omar were dating and not as much was at stake! Those days are behind us but the game is even more potent and critical to helping our audience navigate their personal experiences.
Giving relationship advice while still protecting your partner and home can be quite tricky for us at Nice & Neat the podcast. As we grow we continue to learn and grow with our voice as we maneuver through life.
First and foremost, it's important to remember that every one of our relationships are unique. What works for others may not necessarily work for you and your partner. So, when giving advice, keep in mind that it should be tailored to the individuals involved.
Secondly, be careful when disclosing any personal or private information about your home and partner without their consent. This not only protects their privacy but also their trust in you.
Another important aspect is to avoid speaking negatively about your partner. Even if you're discussing a problem, try to approach it in a constructive and respectful manner. This will not only show your partner that you value them, but also prevent any potential damage to your relationship.
Lastly, with us seemingly having our homes and personal lives out of the public eye we still believe It's important for everyone to maintain a sense of privacy and boundaries in your relationship. So when giving advice, it’s great keep the focus on general situations and in using specific examples from your own life understand that protecting your partner and relationship serves as priority.
Remember, when giving relationship advice, your goal should be to help and support others while also protecting your own relationship.

Please continue to stay true to what you all have built. It is sooooo refreshing to be able to witness Black men growing, supporting and staying righteous in a world that is so misguided. This is Black Excellence! I wish we had more platforms like this where we can see positive images of the men in our culture. You guys do an amaaaazing job!

Okay I’m less than 10 minutes in, but….lol
I stopped listening to a podcast that was my number 1 for 10 years within the last year because I’ve grown and have become more intentional about what I digest. Your audience is going to fluctuate and that is normal. But at the end of the day yall are hella relatable, this show is for mature millennials. And that’s that on that! I truly believe you all most likely have a higher quality following than other podcasts out here….
Keep evolving, we are here for it!!

Having been watching the podcast from the beginning. You three have always been respectful, transparent and old souls. The topics and your personal lives have evolved as well. And as a woman in a committed relationship; it’s a breath of fresh air to get solid advice. You three have helped me understand my man better. As well as being a better woman to him as well. Especially from three black, successful men who’s actively in relationships/marriages. This podcast is needed for the generation of ppl who aspire to be in healthy relationships and/or continue them. So thank you for sharing your experiences, opinions and lives with us.

As a black woman who’s listened to you all since the beginning, you guys have evolved, matured and have shown to be respectable/respexted men. For them men who are saying you aren’t “relatable” or “entertaining” which I think false, are men and women who are speaking from their own insecurities and lack of evolving as a person. You guys are a reflection of what they are not. The topics that you speak about are truth, respecting and entertaining to me. This is what should be fueling and entertaining our black community! Keep going 💪🏾

i really respect what Duke is saying at the start of the episode about not creating a provocative argumentative style space and how that can feel boring to our nervous systems bc of what we are used to. that grounded mature space for conversation that you have created has a ripple effect just by witnessing you. what you guys model is really powerful!

This is a mature podcast. I’ve learned so much from you men. What drew me to this podcast was the maturity level, honesty, and respect. I don’t want any other podcasts but you guys and a crime one. I hate how black people look on these podcasts when they are just talking about unnecessary, drama, and distasteful topics. I’m proud of you all for bringing this to light. Stay true to yourself and continue to make your families and lady’s proud.

I truly believe whomever feels they can’t resonate with your growth and the way yall touch on relationships and characters , is at an unhealthy standstill point of their life. There are no “yes” man amongst the 3 of you and I appreciate the contrast in the way you’re able to express your own opinions. And you do it with class. Continue to elevate - there will always be people and situations that are sent to reverse the work. Ignore it ❤

What Omar is explaining in the beginning about growth is what artists feel creatively when their fan base gets accustomed to a certain style or era. They’re people too and naturally having experiences which is shaping who they are and what they talk about. Cheers to not only growth but for honoring it as well. 🥃

Also amazing point Duke made with the book analogy. I'd like to add to it. That's the mistake a lot of people make e.g when reading the word/Bible, as they try to read with the intention/ heart posture of trying to find themselves in scripture which just ends up hurting their ego/becomes boring when God's word convicts/corrects them instead of being relatable or their idea of entertainment, people that aren't self aware desire their mistakes to be validated, while those that are self aware will watch a podcast like Niceandneat or seek out the original source of truth by running to God for advice! LOVE YALL!

  • @wealth3491
    @wealth3491 Місяць тому +1

You guys are very relatable and I appreciate of you’re different perspectives every time.
For those who can’t relate, I feel they don’t want to grow. People don’t like change. Therefore, they find it comforting to engage in topics that are low vibrational, which is trending.
It’s trendy to sit and talk about 50/50 relationships and dissect it, knowing men are not in position to properly lead. Women are not in position to fully play their role, other than look for someone to care for them.
Men and women have been burned so badly in different relationships, while not operating from their true selves...to the point, it’s hard to trust.
So, they don’t want to financially invest in a woman. Women simply don’t trust men because they feel they’ll eventually cheat, as if that’s the only heartbreak out here in life. Everyone’s going into relationships without true respect. So, it’s already built on sand.

Great episode gentleman!🥃🥃🥃 By enlarge, I think women don't avoid positive content. We seek healthy digestibles especially about relationships and receiving new information about men and community. What I love about your podcast is that you ALL display what growth in black men sounds and looks like. (And, none of you are corny. The swag makes it that much more "nice & neat" to watch.) I don't hear some of the bitterness that some men hand down to boys about women and masculine identity on your show.
This conversation was no different. You were leaders and you showed maturity as a man who leads himself, his household, his career and his legacy. Thats what women pray they are getting when we commit. As a woman who was married for 10 yrs and was brought up in church for most of my childhood as a PK, in my experience such clarity, security and focus is rare in black men today, likely for some of the aforementioned reasons. Your podcast gives us a taste of masculine luxury. We gain exposure to the power of black men that we all know exists but it seems reserved for other communities. As you all named, WE have to desire and aspire for better, then be committed to doing and consuming what it takes to get the gains. For women, vulnerability IS setting boundaries and standing on business. I felt like that was the vulnerability we received in this episodes. I appreciate yall boundaries, especially because there are black women, black babies and a black brand on the receiving end of the benefits. Cheers to a smooth ride to 100K!!!

They do not need to tell the viewers the ins and outs of what goes on in their household. They share what they want & it’s valuable information. With that statement, are you guys recanting all the advice given prior your own relationships? I’d like to believe the conversations you all have had collectively has brought you guys to this point (babies engagement marriage).
