Still love this song. Saw you with VW in Nc way back, but always loved seeing you play it live. Just owned it.

That's really great, divine, sharing this gem of yours with us! :)I'll take it slow at first, just like when you first demonstrated the elements... ;)
I came from your Teen Town to Rapper's Delight video, and there I saw you do something which I also love doing: Snapping strings in the midst of playing finger style, making it sound like slap, but without changing the hand position.I kinda push the string to the fretboard, so that it sounds harder and more aggressive, but you seem to really pull the string, don't ya? ;)At least it sounds more slapp-y than the way I do... Maybe you want to show this magical element to us earthlings, Divinity? ;)

thank you very much maestro. great teaching skills.. i suggest some instruction dvd from you. you are excellent reducing complex ideas and technique into easy digestible pieces. i'm a mathematician, so i appreciate this kind of skill. you got it babe. i'd buy them and please don't leave out the five string people. i'm coming from guitar, djembe, darbuka and riq to bass. annette brown picture of you is amazing, the georgia travel magazine shoot. i love attractive weird black girls, which is coming from a weird black guy, not that that matters, because, well, weird is weird and weird is excellent because it's fundamentally disruptive, leads to dogfights in the idea marketplace where better ideas have a chance to emerge, if everything is on the up and up.
thanks for the digable planets cover, everyone could see what you did, and how it's done. i'm still disappointed that the jazz(bebop), hip-hop fusion did not really catch fire, because, well, i dug that. another thing, beyonce, should be working for you
