A hell of a banger with a hell of a message. "Capitalism subsumes all criticisms of capitalism", wrapped in a catchy, funky earworm. I'm going to be listening to this for a looooong time.

RYB has been so insane so far, and the distinct emotional thematic tones of the three albums are so geniusly expressed in the music. The more songs release for each of the colors I get a better view of the feeling that colored album is expressing and every song expresses these tones in different ways adding dimensions to the main themes of the three. This is such an interesting take on an album executed really well so far and these musicians need to hit some sort of mainstream level already.
What I really love about DeStaat is that Torre follows all the nonsense going on politically, and as such when he writes a song it is not just surface level fluff or a political narrative.

@@ElMondial that's subjective, you don't have to be sorry. I mentioned 4b2m, that may be leaning more towards pop than you would like, but that doesn't make it a shait band. All the members (actual brothers!) were already established musicians before creating the band and I think that's really interesting. Also Rocco is one of them!! and I dearly appreciate everything Rocco does.
