Oh! This video is so lovely and instructive! and the clothes! I wish I could have such beautiful things in my closed! For sure, with the VirtualJaneCon you must have got new subscribers, at least me!
This is such a beautiful dress and pelisse! May I ask if these were self-drafted or from a pattern and if they were from a pattern, what patterns were used for the dress, corset and pelisse? Thank you in advance!😊

Thank you! The dress and pelisse are self drafted, the shift and Regency stays are from Laughing Moon 115.
Hey! Absolutely love your gown. That embroidery is to die for! What material is your gown made from? I’m looking to create a regency evening gown but want some sort of natural fabric that’s not overly sheer like chiffon and I’m a little stumped.

Thanks so much! This gown is actually made out of mystery stash fabric, so I'm not sure exactly what the fiber content is but it definitely feels like it's mostly poly.
This is amazing! I was wondering though, is there a way to substitute the short stay today? I am planning on making a gown, but don’t have the time+experience to make a stay (and on a bit of a time crunch😬). Any help is deeply appreciated, thank you! (Once again, amazing video!)

I think for the Regency, a regular push up bra will work just as well! Because the gowns in this style don't rely on any waist shaping or a very structural under layer, a bra can give you the bust lift you need without needing to make the stays. I actually wore the dress in this video a few times with just a bra and a simple petticoat underneath and that worked perfectly well!
The Pelisse and outer dress are so pretty!!!
Aww thank you!
So sorry I missed this premiere! This video is lovely, thanks for sharing the information on all the layers!
I'm glad you enjoyed!
