Nice work mate! Just one thing. When you assembled the blades. I noticed you put the spring washers that have the bent up wings under the thicker washers on the top on the blade plate. The spring washers go underneath between the blades and the blade plate. It helps the blades turn freely so if they hit something when mowing it shouldn't do as much damage.
A very good effort & well done. One thing to be aware of with the Honda 4 stroke lawn equipment engines is that the arrow underneath the base of the piston has to face right or towards the muffler (exhaust) side of the engine. I have recently rebuilt a Honda GSV190 engine for my fathers HRU217D lawnmower & the blade boss on the crankshaft was totally seized on the shaft & it took me hours of heating it up with a propane torch & a heat gun after I ran out of gas as well as soaking it in diesel fuel & engine oil for it to break free & come loose. I sanded the crankshaft down to remove the rust on it & I applied a nickel based anti seize compound to the shaft & blade boss mating surfaces so as to minimize any chance of that happening again. I had to order a new piston & rings fur it because the new old stock piston rings were more expensive than the new updated piston & rings total price, the original rings were no longer available from Honda since it's a 20 year old engine, the updated piston & rings had to be purchased & fitted !
That would have to had the bird flu 😮until you were able to make it look like it was a different mower between the two ✌ i just bought the 3rd one ive had 80 bucks and it was not rolling in reverse startup with a halfway point in the easiest to start pull rope in all models in all machines with a pull rope and the reason I was lookin for a hhr216 on my local market place
Awesome restoration and repair video. Really a great video. Are you up for a collaboration by the way? Hipa supplies high quality after-market parts and I'm looking for youtubers who can share more tips of small engine repairing so that I can use these videos to help more DIY repairers. Is there a way I can contact?

how old is this mower
14 years
Amazing bro
Thank you for watching ❤️
An amazing restoration. Looks like it was in a saltwater environment and the owner failed to do routine maintenance or any maintenance at all.
Indeed, it has been left to erosion for years for nearly 5 years. Thank you for watching

What would you charge for the labor you put in?
🌹If you enjoy the video, that's my profit
What’s the story on why it was left the way it was
Did the head gasket blow and they didn’t was to fix it?
I bought it from the owner on this condition.
Too many god damn commercials. Thumbs down
Thanks for watching. And for your patience 💚
