That guitar solo perfectly introduces the second half of the album. This album changed my life. I looked around myself and suddenly saw the wall I always knew was there. Now I'm getting out and I'm getting my mother out of hers too. Everybody around me is sick of hearing me raving about this album lol
react to the live pulse songs by Pink Floyd. SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND, SORROW, ONE OF THESE DAYS, RUN LIKE HELL, KEEP TALKING. All great and different songs. The live shows are amazing!!!
You just grazed the surface of a deep rabbit hole. Since you seem to enjoy guitar solos, you'll be served with Pink Floyd. You must absolutely listen to "Comfortably Numb", your ears will be eternally grateful to you. Like Dillon said: (Studio version first, then listen and watch the live 1994 Pulse version).
I see you’ve done other Pink Floyd, you gave “comfortably numb” a listen yet? Listen to the studio version first. Then listen to the live 1994 pulse version. You could make it into one video, up to you. Best guitar solo ever. The live version is the best thing I’ve ever heard on guitar in my life. A true master piece. I love putting people on to Pink Floyd
Going by every site there is , I think I'm the only human left on earth who thinks there is yet another "better "' version. I'm a massive Floyd fan and I like the version from Delicate Sound of Thunder the best by far .It's like David does TWO solos. I never see a video so maybe it doesn't exist but the audio is available. Try it and see ?
@@Newfie-zc7ug that shit was amazing, combination of Pompeii, pulse, and the original, multiple climaxes is which I believe you mean, it was beautiful, thank you
@@Boosted07GT ...No problem and glad you liked it. I told you it was great ! This album was released in 1988 and Pulse was in 1995,so they were much younger. Now if I can get the other 99.9 % of the Pulse lovers on board...LOL
And it only gets better with every song!
The solo in this song just absolutely slaps. It's probably my favorite from Gilmour. I just wish it wasn't so short.
Greatest band ever. Love the book behind you.
Eagle eyes lol and I agree

A profound song . The mystical gift of the poet hovered over this legendary band .
My favorite David Gilmour solo.❤✌

Tip of the iceberg brother
You chopped off the song before the end and didn't comment on the lyrics or meaning of the song. Your reaction seemed perfunctory.
I totally agree with you, the lyrics in Pink Floyd's music is the main course, the instrumental performence is some added spice
