Congrats on the TRX! I will be interested to hear your results on the part numbers, I would assume your new built truck would have the different numbers already installed.
so do i need that service bulletin to go to the dealership or is knowing the bulletin number enough? also... my truck is leveled. are they going to reject working on it? if so, will i be able to get the parts from them to do the swap myself?
You would just need to go into the dealership and let them know your truck is leaning down on the drivers side and you could mention that there is a service bulletin, but I could see them possibly not wanting to do the work due to the leveling kit depending on how mod friendly they are or not. Thanks for the view!
@@TylerPotter that's what I did today. Thay said I would need to make an appointment so they can check on this. They threw in that the leveling mod might void warranty. How likely is this, and how likely is it not to even get those springs to put them in myself?
Just got my driver side whole strut replaced on my 21. There was no lean on it before now it seems there is the smallest lean like 1 degree towards that side. You think they put the wrong spring on it ?
No, tire wear is dependent on the wheel alignment, and so far every TRX I have had on the alignment rack even with the lean has been perfectly in alignment so we shouldn't have any tire wear issues luckily.
The current TSB number is 02-004-22. I can't really find a good way to share the bulletin but your local dealer should be able to access it for you. Thanks for the view!
When I called the dealership they said they wouldn’t get paid for it since I don’t have a letter. How should I proceed? Is ram going to cover it? I have a early 2022 I ordered
@@aristotlefullthrottle9567 I just checked and that service bulletin for replacing the left side springs does apply to your Vin number, I'm not sure what else you could tell your dealer other than referencing the service bulletin number so they could look it up service bulletin 02-004-22. They should be able to look it up and order the parts.
Is there a place online to look at the actual TSB? I like to print as my dealership just looks at me funny when I mention them. New dealer issues I guess.
trying to print this one out and also see if anyone has seen a weird brown substance in their coolant. I have found one guy that said he had same thing and the dealer told him it was casting sand leftover.
I have not had any casting sand issues with any Hellcats since they came out. Back in the mid 2000's we did have the casting sand issues on a lot of V6's.
You should be able to find it on the TRX forum or the TRX facebook group or when you go into the dealership you can just reference Service Bulletin 02-004-22. Thanks for the view!
@@TylerPotter Any idea if the parts for this are still made? The dealership told me I will have to wait for an "indefinite amount of time" for the parts to come in.
Hi just came across your video I just bought a 22 TRX with 20k this is My Last 8 Vin NN148792 can you give me some info on this and The other question I have how would I tell where My truck sits in production numbers
Your truck would be covered under the lean repair bulletin and I can't really see any production number stuff unfortunately but I can see the build date November 10, 2021 at least. Thanks for the view!
Currently in the market so this video was SUPER helpful! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Great info. This applies to mine. Luckily, don’t have the heaviest part springs installed so this can be repaired without lowering the right side.
Awesome! The springs are taking a while to show up at the dealership, but a little free lift is always a good thing! Thanks for the view!
Great info. Thanks finally made it home to see my new 22 trx. Truck is a beast in person will be checking numbers tomorrow
Congrats on the TRX! I will be interested to hear your results on the part numbers, I would assume your new built truck would have the different numbers already installed.
It's the early 22 vin 0655 built date Sept 27th
I have the 21 springs ill need to take in to dealership to get them swapped out to fix the lean. Full tank im 3/4 inch off on driver side.
There the same numbers on both sides front and back can u give me the document number to take to dealership for them to look up
@@Grumpybird Yes you should be good to get the new springs ordered.
Once you see the lean… you’ll notice it all the time!
I know right! Thanks for the view!
Great information!! Well explained. Thank you!!!
My dealership says this isn’t covered under warranty. I’m at 50,000 miles and have the extended 6yr / 75,000 mile warranty since day 1…
Any help?
Call RAM or Stellantis corporate
Great Video again , well explained Thanks!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for the view!
Great video! Do you have TSB number for 2021 1500 Laramie crew cab with 5.7L engine?
Chrysler only has a lean repair for the TRX. Thanks for the view!
I have the front and the back sam part number should I take the truck to the dealer 🤔 and thanks for the video
If you care about the lean then you defiantly can take it in. Thanks for the view!

The back looks fine it’s just the front. Rear springs are both part number 84, the front springs are both 93
Have you changed the springs for 2022? How to find out the part number of new springs?
This is the same repair for the 2022's there will be the same white spring tag on the springs. Thanks for the view!
i have a 1988 dodge Ram D150, i get a 1 1/2 lean
Possible leaf spring issue maybe?
Great info again! Thanks!!!!
Thanks that means a lot!
Would it also wear down the tire on the right side over time. Uneven wear?
No, tire wear is dependent on the wheel alignment, and so far every TRX I have had on the alignment rack even with the lean has been perfectly in alignment so we shouldn't have any tire wear issues luckily.
Hey Tyler, very good information, thanks!! 👍🙂
Thanks as always!
Do you recommend an alignment after getting the new springs installed?
Yes per the service bulletin the technician is supposed to check and adjust the alignment after the spring install. Thanks for the view!
@@TylerPotter thank you for the quick reply and awesome videos!
My 96 C4 is leaning left? But all I find is info on trucks. Info from anybody that reads this will be Very Appreciated... Help :)
I can’t find the TSB. Can you place a pdf of 02-005-21.

Either you’re really tall or your truck is really low!
Cause the truck look kinda low!
Unless it’s the camera angle 🤷♂️
Yeah probably the angle or the lean of the driveway lol Thanks for the view!
where to get this Service Bulletin paper ?

No problem 👍 Thanks for the view!
Shame I’m only just seeing this, I used the hellwig sway bar.
You could still have the service bulletin performed even with your sway bar installed. Thanks for the view!
