Spider-Man 3 for the PS2 is a broken mess

Spider-Man 3 for the PlayStation 2 was a hot mess. I thought maybe nostalgia might give the game some brownie points, but boy was I wrong. This game really showed me how blessed we are for the Insomniac Spider-Man games for current gen consoles. Hope you guys enjoy this one!

Weird how they messed this up so bad after Spider-Man 2 which was really good.

I remember years ago when I first got this game for my PS2, it kept crashing for some weird ass reason. And then months after that, my mom got me another version- there are two versions of this game, by the way. It was the special edition. It worked a little bit better than the other one but it's still crashed a few times. However, despite this, I still managed to beat the game. I mean that boss fight with venom was pretty tough for my preteen self. This game was not really that good anyway. Spider-Man 2 was far more Superior. The combat was so nerfed compared to the last game. The swinging was just boring. Black Suit transformation was cool but pointless. (Web of shadows made that 10 times better) and the story didn't make a lick of sense.
