Excellent. Watching your videos of cleaning and maintenance of literally everything helps feed my ocd mind. I knew I wasn’t wrong for wanting to keep appliances and electronics in top condition if at all possible.
Good job with the cleaning of this unit! According to the submittal sheet these units both the MSZ-GE12NA (Indoor unit) and the MUZ-GE12NA (Outdoor unit) date back to 2009. Cooling capacity is 12,000 BTU/h Heating capacity is 14,4000/h I always wondered why the heating capacity is higher than the cooling capacity and I also noticed that these units make more noise in heating mode.
Mini splits weren't so widely used back in the day. It would be cool to see you add a second mini split for cooling in the summer. Mitsubishi is actually a pretty reliable, quality brand out of all of them.
A note about those PC boards, those outdoor units utilize a conformal coating that is applied to the board and usually most of the components on it as to prevent moisture and FOD intrusion. It seems that it has done its job well. I have worked on one of those boards and that coating is so effective a soldering iron struggled to get through it to melt a joint. Hope that clears some things up.
Yours looks easy to access with mine who ever built my garage mounted a platform and the unit to the side of the garage instead of on the ground like yours it's hard to clean its to close to the wall it gets cleaned but not as good as I want it
Mitsubishi is one of the modern companies who manufactures decent minisplits.
Good Job cleaning it out bro now it should last way longer I enjoyed the video

Cleaning and maintenance can save quite a bit of money over the years.

I use vintage R-22 air conditioners for cooling exclusively. I prefer equipment that's powerful and reliable.
@@JordanU I’m the same way, I use vintage air conditioners when possible.
High quality cleaning and servicing!!! 👍
Thanks
Good job cleaning this mitsubushi heat pump can't wait to see this in action soon bro

That does add some clarity to it, and I agree it does seem to be working well.

Can you film yourself taking out the window air conditioners for winter and use the mini split for heat
@@ethanvlogsb9995 that sounds kind of demanding
The air conditioners were removed months ago.
I like it
Perma-bot.
OK

It's not a stupid bot.
That thing looked pretty dirty inside especially if there has been a snake inside it.
It was, but I've seen far worse.
