Nice to see how something on a more modern appliance is done Jordan. It certainly extends the unit's lifet more than it would have if it was not taken careoff. I would highly recommend doing this every year, at least. Things can get dirty quick if they are not cleaned often.
So that fan motor is a BLDC motor that should be rated at line voltage. They aren't great as far as reliability goes, the old unit bearing shaded pole motors were way better. You'll likely need to replace one of the fan motors in this machine by the time it's 10 years old. Otherwise this doesn't look too bad. I also don't like the adaptive frost control, a mechanical defrost timer is better as far as longevity goes. I'm impressed how clean that was after 2 years.
Thanks for the information. I'm hoping to have replaced this with a vintage unit before it get 10 years old. I was expecting more dirt as well--I suspect it's staid clean because it has poor air flow. Both the intake an exhaust are in the back, probably just recirculates. The intake should have been in the front with exhaust out the back.

Upgrade 32 fridge door down 1 freezer side door Refrigerator
That doesn't make sense.
The air intake on my Whirlpool refrigerator is made of CARDBOARD, and it’s complete junk too.
Most are. I was surprised to see that Jordan's was not.
@@fanman1184Mine is not too on my Frigidaire fridge
If you're talking about the rear cover, it's very common and its not technically cardboard, it's called masonite board.
I find Whirlpool makes the better of what's available today.
@@JordanU I agree
