- We needed a semi custom solution for the walk around deck we have on Cavu and Atkins & Hoyle stepped up. We ordered a semi custom kit from them at the Annapolis Boat Show last year and tried to get in installed durning the hot Texas summer.
Wow. Great job. I cannot believe what Jeanneau did to you. By that I mean, I owned a 2012 SO 44DS and the gas locker was removed about 10 times for various reasons. This was achieved by removing 6 screws and the locker lifted out. What they did to you by making the locker integral is appalling. You handled the challenge very well.

Not a lot of options for the walkaround series but this is working out great.
I've been looking forward to this video. Nice improvising making the correct fit for proper installation. Can't wait to see the finished product. Will this arch also hold your dinghy or is it for solar only? Cheers from Denver Colorado

Very interesting video, I have the same project also on a SO440. How do you get access to the fixings of the pulpit in the cabin and workshop? Did you dismantle a lot of things to reach the underside of the rear pulpit support? Thanks
In the workshop I used long socket extensions and a lot of fowl language. Yoga would also be recommended but there was no disassembly. Starboard was easier from the aft hatch. And some stretching.

You see how she distracted me. It’s a blessing and a curse.
