The same build with s/d is also a great build. Both equally fun. S/d DD and core has always been a great duelist and small scale roamer and fun af to play. Scorp wire is great with this build as well. I just love pulls so it's a person thing and not meta for this or anything.
Decent build and great guide, nice and concise! A min-maxed version would run Zerk Weapons, Mara Armour w/Eagle Runes & Dragon Trinks. Sweet & Spicy Butternut Soup with Ogre Sharpening Stones for Food/Oil Buffs.
QQ losers have been ganking people on SoS, minimum 2v1 (sometimes 4+). At least one of the daredevils runs a build like this, so thank you for explaining the combo, helps to understand how they land that immob daze.
nice, would have loved a spvp (i dont really get wvw) commentary or something like that with this build, i have never played s/p before, but i am commited to playing s/d and non meta builds, would give this a try in spvp hopefully i can get used to the weapons easy enough :D

Noody, did you think about sigil of severance ? adding ferocity and precision for 4 sec while interrupting? (1 sec recharge) It should proc quite enought rigth? Allowing to use Isgaren relic to get the 10% extra damage with it ? I'm soo upset about taking the mad king relic :p Let me now if i'm saying shit, the air sigil still a good damage output..
hey there ty for the build and the video, im pretty much new player and i wanted to try riffle as utility, outside of using the key for ur character to turn and so making a dash in with rifle 4, is there an another way to do it? the way you dash in with seems way more smooth ?
about the gear is sacrificing 15% of crit damage for 200 more power alright? or try to get more ferocity instead of power? i managed to get 3040 power, 18k hp, 52% crit chance, 223% crit damage (using food and utility) edit: without food 2820 power, 52% crit chance, 17.9k hp, 218% crit damage
This build is not viable. You may be able to pull it off because you are Noody but the average person this build royally sucks. Congrats to whoever can pull this off but its just not decent compared to what other classes are running.

Love this. I would run Sigil of Absorption instead of air for extra boon steal.
Yeah air is interchangeable with absorption or severance

I prefer the shortbow for mobility. More reliable shadowstepping up ledges. Also the AoE dps and choking gas are amazing.

Watching this to prepare my ass for the deluge of thief players who'll use this build so I know how to counter it.
Just dodge that pistol whip, it has a small tell before it gets casted. At least if they don’t have quickness that is haha

i managed to get
3040 power,
18k hp,
52% crit chance,
223% crit damage (using food and utility)

Since s/p is more "consistent" dmg over burst its power>prec>fero
Why not change the daredevil dodge to get perma invis with blackpowder?
It’s an option, I made this build for spvp where mobility is essential but bound is a viable swap if people prefer it for wvw.
yeah why not go leap bound and then get more dmg possiblity + even more stealth access its hard to immob acro anyway (but still risky i guess)
That's not how you play thief, you have the shadowstep in, dagger storm, end shadowstep and wait 90 seconds for everything to come back up and repeat.
What runes/sigills etc do u use for pvp?

Specter initiative pull will not keep up with the initiative costs of sw/p
how can u use rifle with daredevil build ?
weapon profiency 1 and 2. First one in Soto skywatch...Second is story mode or you buy like 5 items in WvW

This is WvW, not PVP
