I love how short and sweet this video is. It covered exactly what I needed to know and got to hear you switching channels in a playthrough. Perfect, thank you!
Good video, and you even said to "Save each snapshot setup" as you go! Only addition to finish it off, woulda been a short example of "how to name a snapshot". Thanks.
I got mine yesterday and it is overwhelming to say the least lol! I tried editing through my pc and while it was nice to see it that way I feel it's easier to just change directly through the board. I was also having issues with that hahaha! This video was perfect! Right to the point and exactly what I needed to see!!!!
Yea, keep the explanations coming. You’re good at making the difficult stuff easy to understand. I’d rather watch your videos than read the whole manual ( I have more of visual comprehension). I just got mine today and so looking forward to watching more vids of stuff I don’t wnna read LOL!
@@israelrodriguez6986 Just got mine today! Looking forward to diving into it! Are you very happy with it? Anything you find you don't like or is lacking?
Very Clear and effective demo - but - how do you switch between snap shots when you're playing? eg to bring in different combinations for bvarious passages as you play? stepping on the up & down buttons then selecting snap A B or C wouldn't seem very useful..
Can you switch out effects on snapshots? For example, could you switch your parametric EQ out for a chorus on one of the snapshots? Or must all of the snapshots have the same effect pedals?
PRESS THE Button! I KNEW it was something simple... Thanks. I have to find out how to work this in the MacBook editor though. Can't seem to activate the functions there.
Thanks for this video... amazing feature on the PodGo! Do you if it's possible to change snapshots using an external switch pedal? So go up and down the different snapshots using 2 external switches connected to the expression pedal jack with a Y cable... Thanks again! :)
There is a fat delay inbetween changing PRESETS, youve probably heard it, it sounds like the plugins cut out , even with trails , because its actively removing plugins from memory and new loading plugins/blocks . Snaps dont, they just change some parameters/settings WITHIN the preset, so although you cant change plugins from an occupied block, you can mute and unmute as much blocks as you like, change any parameter per snapshot, and it will all change seemlessly with no mute or delay.
I wonder if I messed up. I created snapshot 2 with a louder volume as a boost for lead. When I go back to snap 1 the vol is as loud as the boost. Can I snapshots 2 different s volumes??
One obvious thing that seems to be missing: how can I visually see which Snapshots are possible to activate? For that to work you have to name them and assign a color. But if you forget that, apparently there is no way of knowing how many snapshots a preset might have. Other than simply listening to them all.
@@238839 I know and I mention that in my comment. The problem is that there is no way of knowing if you forget that. Or if someone else forgot to do that and you import that preset.

Thanks
I could not figure out how to adjust everything without changing it in another snapshot. thank you so much
Glad it helped
Thanks for the video, I couldn't seem to get the snapshots to work like you have shown. They are all set the same.
There’s a possibility that they changed it since I published this video as it’s been awhile.
Amazing video! Please do more Pod Go quick videos!
More to come!

When you make adjustments/specific settings in snapshot 1, then move to snapshot 2 does it automatically save snapshot 1?

I don't believe so
Can you turn off/on blocks effects?
So almost of the 4 snapshots have the same hardware. The only difference is what are on/off? But you did change the mic.
While in the scenes mode, can you press bank up or down and reach another four scenes?

Not sure as it’s been awhile.
Is it necessary to hit SAVE after editing each snapshot?
If memory serves, yes
@@ThePedalGuy thanks
Super!
Thanks
Can someone tell me the advantage of this over just creating 4 presets which can be switched between the same way? I feel like I'm missing something

Not 100% sure.

Good question
It can be renamed when using POD GO Edit.
In this video, he starts to explain how to do it at 3:35. ua-cam.com/video/2vIkr7us_qw/v-deo.html

@@martijn3151 i mean it shoudnt hurt to go through 4 snapshots
how do you save your snapshots?
It's saved with the preset
Why can't you not name the snapshots? Like verse, chorus, bridge?
You’d have to ask line6
You can name snapshots now in 1.30 version of firmware.
That tone reminds me of Tesla.
Thanks.
Bro, turn the volume up. Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback
