That was excellent, really useful. I couldn't make head nor tail of the thing when I first got it yesterday. Today, I couldn't put my Strat down. Thanks.
I ordered this Unit recently, due for delivery later this week. Have a BOSS ME-70 for last 11 yrs, but starting to "act up". Seen several vids so far on this unit and your basics vid here is good. I'd really like to see one that at least would cover positioning, and mostly the ideal places to put the amp and cabinet. Saw one vid where the cabinet was all the way over on the right, at the end, but he never explained WHY. Anyway, a suggestion for you. I also had to laugh at some of the "names" of some of the cabinets, but don't have any connection to whatever cabinet it's supposed to have emulated! haha SO maybe that'd be a suggestion to Line 6! I play on a church Worship Team, so fairly simple settings and tone needed and used. I bought this basic Line 6 unit since a lot of worship teams use these products. I once played through one of their Line 6 amps, but glad they make better pedal boards than amps. Even though I turned ALL FX KNOBS OFF the amp, and went Clean through it, it still had a residual "chorus sound"! Anxious to work with this unit. Also saw something on your initial settings, and what setting I'd need as I will hook this up direct to a DI Box.
A piggyback to my initial post. SO IF I am going from this unit into a DI Box, do I use the LINE setting within the Global Settings area? And that same second knob, but for "instrument" if going into an Amp? Didn't have to do that with my Boss board. THANKS in advance for any answer!
Struggling to figure this all out as there are so many different options and controls. I understand the basic functions for navigating, but how to set up different stomp box settings and different stomp boxes for different types of gigs, etc.
I'm liking the user experience and the variety of tones of the Pod Go, but the signal chain is really limited. You really only have 4 effect blocks that you can freely set. The other effect/amp blocks are predetermined as to what effect type they are.
@@JonEleyetGuitar - it's half the price of the Helix, designed primarily for non-professionals (I think?) What more do you want from such a lovely bit of kit at this price-tag?
Are those loud clicky switches like the 500x? I thought they would have used the same non click like helix, I hate tapping in tempo on those loud switches
Best explanation of everything I’ve found yet!
Most helpful!! Please do more contents!!
This is great for a total pod go newbie🎉
