East London's Adventure Playground

Adventure playgrounds are spaces where children can create, fall and learn. Vistors decide what they want to see in the playground whether it's new slides, swings or undetermined shapes. They then create their vision with adult supervision, learning how to use tools and applying the maths they learn in school.

Love this I played here in the 80s also woolwich adventurer, I also used to get the bus to the one near Peckham lol so much fun! Lovely to see it’s still there

This is a brilliant space, more important than ever given that the Thames Tunnel work is now heavily impacting the only decent local park nearby.
