I LOVED this!!! I've been hoping that you would post your husband's story! What a wonderful perspective he has about his journey. The way he describes FEELING that the Lord was always there through it all! Inspirational! The fishing story cracked me up. "Heavenly Father? I'm sad and I need to catch a fish". 😂. Thank you for sharing this!!!

Jesse sounds like a bad-a! I'm so glad I got to hear his story! The Master Potter doesn't build us with a cookie-cutter design, and it sounds like Jesse's mold is as unique as it is strong. You rock, Jesse!

Wow - I now feel like we really need to warn our kids about morphine and other prescription drugs - how they can become terrible addictions and also lead to other drugs.
I also really liked how you said that most or all of the judgement you felt from your mistakes was from yourself, and not other people.
It was great, too, to hear a small snippet of the love story.
    Thanks for sharing!

Just loved this. What a wonderful, incredible soul, a true disciple of Christ. The part I liked most was where he realized he had walked away from opportunities, but that through his return his joy in life and the gospel was restored - a miracle we all can embrace.

What an incredible love story. And I am referring to God's love for all of us. I remember the talk given and the video that was put with eventually about Jeffrey r. Holland and going to a deserted area and then when coming back home. Not knowing which way to go, they prayed. And of course they took the wrong road. They ended about 500 yards from where the split in the road was. His child or children asked him. Why do we pray and we couldn't find the right road with the Lord's help. He said because the Lord showed us what the wrong way was so would be confident on what is the right path for our journey. I live that all the time. It's a wonderful understanding of life's difficulties and how we now see the darkness and truly contestify of the light because we know the contrast. Too many in the church do not have that same opportunity, but I'm glad that they don't have to go through it like we did.

There's only one Jesus and He loves a sinner and good hearted ppl the same. He says in the Bible He came for sinners. Pls familiarise yourself with the Bible then u'll understand that Jesus died for all ppl on earth. Your Jesus who discriminates is NOT the Jesus Christ who died for all and left us with the Holy Spirit to guide and giard us. Pls pray before u read your Bible, then the Holy Spirit will show u the way. ONE JESUS for ALL❤❤❤🙏

Agreed. Jesus is Jesus, He is never changing. Anyone that worships Jesus worships the same Jesus, just because there might be a misunderstanding in His teachings doesn't mean it is not the same Jesus. We don't use the terms "your God" or "your Jesus" around here. They are who they are and we are all learning of them.

When you seek answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible, God can't help you because you have turned your back on Him. Therefore this leaves the door open for Satan (II Corinthians 11:14-15) to step into your life with a false christ or prophet showing you signs and wonders to lead you away from the real Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. God Himself warns us about this in MATTHEW 24:23-24 "Then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.."
Mormons teach and believe that their jesus is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.
So Mormons, which Jesus do you believe in?
    A. Your jesus of the Book of Mormon, who is the brother of Satan.
    OR
    B. The Jesus of the Bible, who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.

Read the Book of Mormon with a sincere heart and real intent and faith in Christ, and ask God if it is true. If you do this you will receive a testimony of the Holy Spirit that the BOM is from God. I have done that and know it is the word of God, just as the Bible is.

    • @AlbertJLouie

      @eckhard hensel
That's your problem. You search for answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible. You have turned your back on God. Therefore, God can't help you.
That leaves the door open for Satan (II Corinthians 11:14-15) to step into your life with a false christ or prophet showing you signs and wonders to lead you away from the real Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.
All you need to know will be in the Bible, not the Book of Mormon.
So throw away the Book of Mormon, find a good Bible base church and read the Bible. If you do this, God promises this to you:
      JOHN 8:32
"And you shall KNOW the truth, and the truth shall make you free..."
