Such peaceful and beautiful people. I love the banaadiri and the barawani people so much. It's so unhealthy and so unlucky that the only thing that we ever talk in our country is which clan killed the most people or destroyed the most property. It's just the worst. I pray to see the day when my people understand the value of coexisting with their fellow brothers without looking down their clans.
A giant of our community. May Allah bless him and his family. May Allah enable him to leave a legacy behind. He is indeed a humble man, a great doctor and a phenomenal person.
Asalaamu aleikum A/rahman, I am so proud of you for your hard work. I also felt very happy to see one of our famous Doctors in our community at the same time one of my father’s students, Dr. Ali Mungano May Allah give him good health and long life, Insha Allah. 😂❤😊
Nowadays, most Barawanis in Somalia are bakers and fashion designers. Glad to see a Barawani doctor. May Allah bless him with a long and healthy life, Ameen.
Barawa all over the world are excelling in their fields, maybe it’s not the case in Somalia due to the repressive nature the country has instilled on the indigenous people.
@@aidarus4684 I love my barawnese brothers/sisters n I'm sorry for whatever you guys have been through. But no need to degrade an entire ethnicity!! We also have been through so much brother. Let's forget our differences and build our country together.
@@Raas639 I don’t see any degradation in my comment, it’s factual that the majority nomadic people were given government roles after colonialism, this was in fact admitted by Somali politicians and writers themselves, it’s more factual than you saying majority of Barawa people are fashion designers. How did you conjure that one up? And I take no pity in what Somalis have been through since it was by their own hands, and until they acknowledge this and seek to rectify it then talking of trying to build a country “together” is not going to work.
@@aidarus4684ou’re very hateful and delusional. As if Somalis didn’t build the nation, and hold the highest positions of power in the country before the war. We had our suits and macawis . And yes, we are proud of our NOMADIC heritage, just like your Yemeni, Saudi and west Asian brothers are proud of their camels and their BEDUIN heritage. Many Somali clans had nothing to do with the war, no we live in the south. But nobody is going to beg for ‘togetherness’ it’s in my OWN interest as an isaaq from the north to make sure I benefit from the south being stable despite what happened to my people. Y’all not doing better than Somalis in Kenya or Tanzania or anywhere else in East Africa. Demographics are not gonna change, but smart people push for peace and progress. Dr. Mungano used to treat the poor for free. He is a blessed doctor. That's how he succeeded and became famous. He is an exemplary doctor.
He’s a great example for the Banadir youth masha Allah

The same country that had camel herders roaming the hinterlands to being handed suits and a title. Time does change people indeed. :)
