I love the go slow, keep it fun, keep it open to whatever comes up and happens next. Takin the time to get your trail legs and lungs is gonna pay off big. And you are giving your joints time to learn the new stresses. Keep it going and making good choices and above all, be safe.
They kind of have no choice, since they pretty much are carrying everything but the kitchen sink. This is going to be a true slog. I can’t stop watching I will admit since I have never seen anyone carry so much crap that is actually experienced like they are. I keep wondering why? It looks very painful. I hope they are ok
I enjoy your videos. There are now 9 tick disease on the AT. There are ticks on the mice in the shelters so you have to be careful all the year round. My wife died from a tick disease, 6 years ago. Treat all of your outer clothing and gear with Permethrin each month. Follow the safety instructions. You guys should look at getting good meats to cook for the first supper after a town. 60 years ago we did steak and baking potatoes our first night. Good Luck, Rick
Glad I found you. I always pick a handful of hikers to follow and loved your back story. Also starting so early enjoy seeing hikers going through the Smokies (I'm in NC). Best to you both along this physical, mental, spiritual journey. 🙏🌄
I’m loving your story. Kudos for realizing you can rise above the way you were raised. No looking in the rear view mirror. Great future ahead of you. I’m a grandmother with a son who fought addictions for 20 years. His father and grandfather had addictions. With God’s help he has broken that chain!! If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus I pray y’all will pursue him on your journey. He is the way, the truth and the light. ❤Thanks for working on not using foul language. Looking forward to following y’all!!
OMG! I'm hooked! You guys are great!!! Hey, ditch the umbrellas, the chairs, and one of the puffy jackets!!! You don't need 2 puffies, keep the heavier one. YES, lighten your loads!!!
Thank you both for filming this adventure! I love your vibe I love your energy. My son survived his opioid addiction and at 27 he is now healthy and thriving as he takes up rock climbing with his cousin…for sure adventure is a necessary form of therapy. I appreciate your honesty and I love you both!!!
I always tell my son his gramma cussed like a Sailor, and she did. But as an adult, and a mom, I choose not to. I really respect you fella’s for curbing your selves on this platform. I am truly enjoying your content. Thanks.
Make sure you STRETCH, STRETCH, STRETCH before you hike in the mornings and at the end of your day. When you stop for a lunch break, do it again! Great video, boots north!!
Amazing philosophy of just because you were raised one way as an adult you can make big changes!! Love it! Most don’t ever understand that truth!!!! How many other thru hikers have you run into or has it just been Clint so far?
You guys are so much fun for this old lady to follow. Your so smart to start slow and enjoy your adventure. That mountain will wait for you.Safe travel
Great video boys. We can walk when into shape warm weather, no packs moving fast3 miles 60 minutes. So your cooking with gas up side mountain s, heavy packs, cold weather.
Nice shelter!! I liked your video today; and very smart on not pushing too much. It is encouraging to see both of you getting your lungs used to the climbs. You do a very good job at showing what camp on the trail is like. I also notice a big difference in the language, huge!
love ya'lls videos so much! Was just on trail and saw some of the same people (a few days behind you guys just doing a section hike) It was cold out there! Keep on with these great vids!
Earned yourself another subscriber. I can relate to the journey of sobriety through adventuring. 7 years of sobriety for me using only outdoor adventures as a time filler. Just missed you guys at preachers rock. I came through a little later in the day. 🤙
You are definitely doing it the right way. Eat good, slowly work into the higher mileage and keep a good attitude. Hike safe, Hike strong, Have fun! geek
Looks quite a bit different than when I was there in October but beautiful nonetheless! You guys are working well with each other. Impressed with the self discipline of the language. 👍🏼 “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”Proverbs 27:17
What a way to finish out 23' and kick off 24'... Definitely a different perspective (Compared to other vlogs), while all (For the most part) are good and informative, so far your videos seem to be more "Real" than most... Keep on keeping on... Semper Fi
I found out I was lactose intolerant like 8 years ago. I was bummed out. I thought I would give up coffee. And the next day i said to myself, let me just try black coffee. I did, and I never looked back. Black coffee is a whole new experience.
I can appreciate you trying to cut back on the profanity. It will keep me interested in your videos. Not knocking the way others talk I’m just trying to better myself and the less I hear it the less I’m tempted to use it. So thank you. Looking forward to following your journey!
Your videos are great. Snappy editing and I like seeing how you learn as you go. I'm getting a hankering for one of those crazy creek chairs and just priced it at REI and Amazon. You may cost me money! Confused about your names. Jack and Bob? Michael and Paul?
I love your videos. Also, for all the times that your fast forwarding the video, you should really mute the audio somehow on the software you use to create the videos! Otherwise, the audio can get annoying for people wearing headphones, and a lot of people click off! I watched to the end like always though :) Keep it up!
If you guys want I'll post bad weather coming your way, I live center of Ohio. It all swaps threw here headed your way. Ten days 32 to 38 high s, lows 25 to 28
I’m planning to create a discord which we will be mentioning later to maybe being able to talk to us if you have questions or want to talk in real time when possible
White and snappy wood is the best kind. Nice

Love the name change! Every time I see you guys, I feel time warped into the 70s!
Love that y’all are so encouraging to each other and constantly trying to improve yourself even in small ways. You’re an inspiration.
I love seeing young people enjoy the old classics from my generation. you guys are doing great!
I love the "realness" of your videos. Good to see the time spent off the trail in the shelters.
You guys are awesome! I love your attitude about "trying" to watch what you say. Respect!!!

I'm enjoying not just the videos, but also that they are in stereo. It's a nice effect. :)

No he walked up on us randomly at the woods hole shelter it was a pleasure and a blessing to meet him!

Ready for the gnarly weather!
Fuck it, curse words don’t hurt anybody🤷🏽♂️
I curse like a trucker but I try not to when doing videos. I don't mind it, but a lot of people rather not hear it.
Speak for yourself. Many people like the reality.
I want to hear it.
Greetings from Germany 😎
