The original Astartes Animation took 4 years to complete into the 13 minute long short film. It didn’t feel that long because the guy, a solo modeler, texture artist, animator, scene lighter, camera operator, and compositor took the time to upload the individual parts as essentially wips. GW has confirmed that Astartes 2 is still in production. Just wait. I’m getting genuinely fed up with people like you who think we 3D models just make a model, and push a magic button that just does all the animation for us. It’s time consuming, and hard labor. And again, the Astartes guy is a solo, a single guy, forever alone team. Let him cook.

It has been almost five years since he was hired onto the GW staff, it would be nice to see a teaser or something. Seeing as he likely has access to a team, with resources now, it wouldn't be unthinkable that we should see something on it soon.
I was loving Hammer and Bolter. Kinda wish they'd just outsource that stuff to Amazon or someone who has the production means to do it. And then turned Warhammer+ into just painting guides, lore content and white dwarf magazines etc.
Honestly, Games Workshop, there’s already a wealth of fantastic painting, gaming, and lore content from the community on UA-cam. What I’d love to see more are animations-more of those would really elevate the experience and justify the subscription.

If it was not for access to the apps I would not bother with it.

I cancelled my subscription 2 months ago after subscribing from the beginning. Without a steady stream of decent animations, the other type of content can be found for free on UA-cam (batreps, lore, painting), and is arguably better. It needs to either drop its price or include regular animations.

Not sure it'll be worth the subscription anymore because there's plenty of free hobby videos like this on UA-cam that are great. They quit adding stuff to the Warhammer Vault too.

Please ditch Warhammer plus and get other studios to produce the animations. It'll be faster and you can actually make lengthy episodes instead of a four part series with a run time equal to an episode of regular television.

If you use the app on your phone, you can 'cast' it your Chromecast. Sadly with a massive annoying fluorescent pink progress bar, but better than nothing...
