There is a stone from ancient Greece, about 140 kg, with the inscription "Bibon lifted this stone overhead with one hand". Got the same carved holes for handling like those Pakistan stones. Considering the shared history between Greece and Pakistan, I am convinced Bibon used very similar technique as the Pakistani lifters lift the round stones.
@OcraMedHealth Hi Dr Joe. I would like to ask about breathing during exercise? During what phase should there be an inhale and exhale in exercises such as lunges, push-ups, deadlifts? Perhaps I'm doing something wrong because I feel a lot of fatigue and can't recover quickly, nor can I do progressions (and I'm exercising with not heavy weights). Perhaps breathing is the problem (I'm also relaxing my tight oblique neck and sternocleidomastoid muscles).
You should take a deep belly breath and hold the air in right before you squat down. Let some air out at the top of the movement. Then breath in deeply again before you squat down again. Hope that helps. I have a video on bracing for squats on my channel.
