My third name is Karol. I chose it to honour the Blessed Karl I, or Karel III, or IV. Károly. He was one of my favourite rulers of all time and the only one I know from the modern era who was truly following Christianity. The only one ruler of state participating in WWI who wanted to end it not for his country's interest, but in order to end this bloodshed. I'm sad his story was so tragic, in my heart he will always be a hero. I'm sad also about history of Austria and Hungary. Both states began the XX century as strong empires and ended it being humiliated and blamed. Today we all honour Austria - Hungary. I wish we won't forget about it... Maybe Austrian Empire and Kingdom of Hungary will once again be proud and powerful states they used to be. Glory to Habsburgs!

I don’t know if anyone else has pondered this question but how on earth did Austria-Hungary have such an incompetent army in WW1, yet had the most patriotic well choreographed marches out there.
Austria-Hungary's "uselessness" is exaggerated as they produced much more oil than all other Central Power members combined (important for Germany's naval effort), gave Germany one of the best WW1 artillery, and kept the Franco-Italian navies busy (they could've caused potential trouble for Germany). However, the Austro-Hungarian army was plagued with arrogant and incompetent generals (except Boroevic), terrible logistics, many inexperienced & unmotivated troops, and fighting too many fronts at once. They had their part in helping Germany too, but overall were far from good.
they were not that bad. Vs Italians that had much stronger military, AH Empire was fighting very well(lot of Croats/Slovenians/Bosniaks and even Serbs fought here). They were facing huge Russian Empire in the same times plus others . Not great not terrible.
