A grey couch is not always the answer because the color can also be seen as dull/sad depending on how much grey is in your living space. Depending if you’re going for Scandinavian, mid-century modern, industrial, Japandi, modern-farmhouse, the colors, textures, shapes, and the overall aesthetic can be drastically different. Interior design is like a whole other thing, but there is some overlaps with fashions.

I disagree with Ashley on getting a gray couch...gray interior design has been out of style for a few years now. Go with something cream colored, beige, or maybe brown or sage green. And avoid blue at all costs.

You know what, most things you say I find to be helpful in terms of females feeling good around you, clothes etc, and probably mos things that are none clothing I can see the logic, but on the colourful bowls, it's almost one too far, icolour effects your mood, and some colourful plates and bowls, seeing as though we can't wear this stuff because you ladies create stories in your minds about what it says about us,which are often not true, and yet which negatively impact us men, but if we follow you on everything , then we feel in a lesser mood, just to give you ladies a better mood I draw the line at bowls and all that, and I will be buying those Le Creusette colourful bright kitchen things to go with my white kitchen and well your overstepping the mark there for me on that one I feel. It's like " Just get yourself some neutral bowls and plates, so she can feel good about you," NO, not gonna happen! lol I did everything else you say, but no woman is spoiling the entire party. LIfe would be so bland if we follow a females instinct all the time, that last 1% even if I give you 99% as I know through experience what you say works,.. well that last 1% is sacrosanct Mine is the dishes, but other fellas will have their none negotiables and well so they should, not everything in this world can be entirely gynocentric. We'd have nothing for ourselves, just ot make the opposite sex like us more.
A lot of times those movies shows or sports team are the things men grow watching the these things which inspire them which is a part of there memories part of who they are so rather showing some superficial nterior design to impress someone be original ……
