I made a second account and leave that one on my carrier so that he can buy the tritium and donate it, that way on my main account I don't have to jump back to my carrier every time it needs to be filled up. Also, more accounts means more tritium storage freed up on carrier, I'm at 4 accounts and rising. Lol
@@thecursingexplorer138 I'm going to be upgrading to the series x and own the disc, I don't recall paying for new accounts, is that a pc thing? I left pc 14 yrs ago.
I have been away from the game for some years but I am thinking about coming back. Fleet carriers are new to me but I have a question: I have a fairly large fleet of vessels of my own that are specialized for different tasks (mining, combat, exploring, passengers, etc.). When I left there was talk of a means to transport all your ships to different bases without having to travel there yourself. Are the Fleet Carriers that means? I am not really ready to buy a fleet carrier but I have 7 ships I want to move a long way (Colonia) without having to actually fly there.

Yes, FC = Space for 40 ships + 200 moduls, FC = 500ly jumps
I know this reply is months late but no fleet carriers aren't the solution to that. They have a transport system in game now that allows you to kind of summon your ships from anywhere to where you are. Costs credits and time but that would do the trick. A fleet carrier would also transport all of your ships but you don't need one to gain that ability.
@@kwright1266nah if he went to colonia and tried to transfer that many ships, he’s probably talking billions in transfer costs and literal days in waiting time. Fleet carrier would be the only way to achieve that.
@@tytt4594 oh yeah definitely not practical for transfer to Colonia. I was more so telling him there was another system in place for transfer in general in case he missed it while he was gone.
Should be able to navigate it like normal, select the system map from the galaxy map, and then pick the planet. It won’t work if you haven’t been to the system before or if there are too many objects already in orbit.
@@adrianjingoiu9703 Just FYI that if there isn't a station, just go back to galactic view, then back to system view, and you'll have the option to jump to an individual world. It's a bug that I think was introduced in release 14, hopefully will be fixed in the 14.02 update at the end of the month.
Darn so refueling is basically selling to your carrier then huh? Was hoping there would be a separate system for this. Are you familiar with bulk trading using carriers? Would love a guide for that. 🙂
My understanding will be to go to a system you want to buy in with your ship docked, hope the planet with the station has a spot for you in orbit, and then manually ferry the good to your carrier, a few hundred at a time. Then jump to the sell system, and repeat the process in reverse.

There is the Raxaala exploration team, they had a few chatrooms over the years to discuss things but somewhere out there is a spreadsheet that people still actively work on. For explorers absolutely. Nothing worse than losing months of data because you crashed. With a. Fleet carrier you stay semi close and turn in data on a regular basis. I’m sure there are other benefits but that’s the one that made me get mine.
