Nice to finally find a video for a small space and also for someone who also doesn't own a store load of makeup. Great ideas and simple to do, many thanks.
Hi! I really liked your video! Great ideas! Just wanted to help you with one tip that's one of my favorites.... I store my bobby pins in an old TIC TACS container! It's the perfect size, and you can take it with you when u are ready to travel!
One way to organize your makeup is to streamline it. As a professional I still only use one clear makeup back with the items I use every day and one bag for extras. Women have far too much makeup for what they need and that's a lot of unnecessary money being spent too.
It looks great! One thing that I did since I don't have a cabinet to hide stuff in, is I put scrapbook paper on the inside/front of the drawers that I use to organize on the bathroom counter top. It 'hides' the visual part of what's in the drawers and helps to calm me down since I can't put the entire thing behind a cabinet door.
You are so happy and positive! And I absolutely love your ideas. Labeling your drawer knobs was great. I'm a disorganized person, who is very much helped by your videos. Thank you. 💕
LOVE! I'm going through my organized spaces and figuring out what to edit and how to make it pretty/prettier (at least for my taste) - but without spending (or little spending). This is inspiring!
Hey! I did a mail organizing video... It's in my organizing playlist. I will for sure be doing a toy organizing video and lots of kid stuff once Carson arrives :)
Just an idea that I really love. Store bobby pins in those prescription medicine bottles. They are the perfect size and keeps them nice and orderly rather than sprawled out in a drawer.
I did kind of he same thing, except I had one of tall 3 drawer sterlite rolling thing's, then from watching you, I headed to my dollar tree and bought all sizes of bin's, so make-up goes in 1 drawer, extra body wash etc. in another, then female product's ( for guest) I had a hysterectomy at 23, have no need for that stuff ) extra toothpaste, etc in another drawer as my bathroom is super tiny compared to my old one, and this was a BIG help. Thanks for sharing this video !
this is an awesome tip! I'm getting ready to move so i know i will be using some of your ideas! for the bobby pins i use a plastic butter container the one that has the top attached to the bottom, i think i found it at the dollar store and i keep all my bobby pins in there and it keeps them together and it locks shut so they don't fall out.
Great job! Use Dawn (classic blue) to wash your rings when your ring cleaner is all gone, it works much better, costs less and it washes dishes (and more) as well. I like using products for multiple tasks and simplifying things.
I always really enjoy your videos, thank you for making REALISTIC videos! You are very inspiring and helpful thank you so much for taking time so share your ideas!
Beautiful job!!! You are great at organizing and I always get some super tips for my own home. I used the rice idea but it went rancid after a time so it had to be replaced, otherwise, it works great. I loved the chevron tins!
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I asked you if you would make a video on how to organize makeup and it's so good to see that you actually read the comments and make videos we ask for : )
The re-organized space looks really nice. You can even cover the sterilite drawer fronts by mod podging scrapbook chevron paper to match your cute little chevron containers from Target. I do that to all my sterilite drawers because I can't stand seeing into them ;)
Great video! I'm completely renovating my bathroom at the moment, so this gives me some great ideas for when I start moving things back into the space - how to organize them to keep it a clean fresh area.
Loved your make-up organizing ideas and intend to implement many in my own space. Something I found on Pinterest to organize bobby pins. Found a large Tic Tac candy and stored inside.
For your bobby pins you could use those rectangular magnetic paper clip holders. It keep all my bobby pins from spreading around when I open and close the drawers. Plus it's really affordable too.
Another great tip. My makeup is in a drawer and it needs HELP! I'm going to see if I can find some way to contain everything. Thanks for the motivation :)
It does look much more pleasing to the eye. I don't like the rice because it's a bug magnet. I would use beads or something else for sure. Thanks for sharing!
I saw a tip for bobby pins in a show where an expert organizer was giving tips, she showed us a magnetic box thats meant for paper clips, but could also be used for bobby pins, just if you'd like that idea :) I love your makeover there and I'm sure I'll be inspired by it once I organize mine :D
Turns out just great !!!! My makeup it's a chaos :( this inspires me to organize them. Have you heard about " nesting" ?? It's when a pregnant woman or man prepares for the baby and start cleaning the house moving things, trying to have the house clean and prepared for the newborn :)
Hey, thank you for this video. It turned out great. You have inspired me , to organize my makeup too. thx I agree with u , yes lots of good tips too at the Home Organizing channel.
Nice job! I'm about to go to the dollar store tomorrow to pick up some organizing stuff for my bathroom. I like the magnetic tape idea, I think I'll add that to my list :). Maybe I'll also use it for my bobby pins too!
I have 2 oval Dollar Tree silver metal trays, that I found in the wedding section of the store and use them on the top of my dresser. One is for my makeup and the other is for my fragrances. They look so pretty, keep it organized, and were only $1 each :)
Thank you! The older I get, it seems the more useful anti-aging products I use fairly regularly lol. So I honestly use everything I have, I just have a LOT of stuff! Seeing how you did this gives me hope that I can cut down that "eye sore" look like you did! Also I LOVE the magnetic strip idea! That's awesome!!!
Viva la rice! I saw that on Alejandra's channel and did it, too. We had some rice my husband didn't like so I poured it in my cups. My kids thought I was brilliant.
you are so dang smart! ok, i got one for you. i don't have a cupboard or a medicine cabinet in my bathroom. i do have drawers but all of my skin care and makeup is mostly on the counter. right now i have it in those plastic square stacking cubes from dollar tree but i still have all kinds of crap on the counter. i don't know what to do and like you said.. it's freakin stressful. i know where everything is but i want a more polished and clean looking presentation.
You might rotate the colors of makeup you have out, different colors for different seasons. Also might try keeping some of the stuff you use on a tray, I like how Melissa Maker (Clean My Space) has her products she uses in the bathroom displayed, on a little tray that sits on the vanity. I tend to limit what's visual, though like you I have a lot of makeup (not that I always wear it lol). Good luck with your organizing
Can you do an under the kitchen sink video/cleaning supplies? Mine is atrocious and I'm not looking to spend a bunch of money! Love your videos, Kathryn! And congrats on baby Carson :)
I love and need that storage unit over the commode. My master bath (ha, nothing "master" about it) is about the size of your guest bath, and I store all my makeup and hair stuff under the vanity. I seriously need to get a grip on the chaos under there, you video has motivated me to get on it. I will definitely use rice, I have a bunch of it. What a great tip. Your eyelashes look so long and full. Is it pregnancy or do you use a great mascara? Or both, lol? Great video! Amy
Your so great with these organizational ideas. Wanted to let you know I found a 7 pcs drawer organizer for 3.98 at Walmart. My dollar store here in my area doesn’t have all the stuff that your area.
I got one of those little drawer towers at dollar tree. I dont have a ton of makeup so it actually fits like 99% of it except what i have with me like in my purse or whatever.
Maybe you can use an empty shot glass to hold you Bobbi pins or empty altoid container. I can see then rolling around when you open your drawer. Nice ideas :)
Nice to finally find a video for a small space and also for someone who also doesn't own a store load of makeup. Great ideas and simple to do, many thanks.
Hey, Amy! Thanks! I use colossal volume express from the drugstore :). It's my fave!
Hi! I really liked your video! Great ideas! Just wanted to help you with one tip that's one of my favorites.... I store my bobby pins in an old TIC TACS container! It's the perfect size, and you can take it with you when u are ready to travel!
Yes, I ended up doing that! I used 1/2 of a pacifier container because it was the perfect size and height :)

The space looks wonderful. Mess and chaos is not good for our spirit. Its overwhelming. Thanks for sharing.
I'll have to keep my eye out for one of those...thanks!
LOVE! I'm going through my organized spaces and figuring out what to edit and how to make it pretty/prettier (at least for my taste) - but without spending (or little spending). This is inspiring!
Yay :). Thanks for the support!

Hey! I did a video on this a while back... It's in my organization playlist. It's a too faced palette :)
I thought of you when I bought them :) It's totally something that reminds me of your taste!

Really good idea I'm so sick of those people with their acrylic boxes
Wonderful job, and so right....looks great. Love the zig zag pattern. Once again, an awesome video!
Beautiful job!!! You are great at organizing and I always get some super tips for my own home. I used the rice idea but it went rancid after a time so it had to be replaced, otherwise, it works great. I loved the chevron tins!
I love the idea of magnet strip to keep small metal items. Now I will know where my nail clippers and little scissor are. Thank you
I wish there were more videos like this. Can totally relate to your thoughts about how you want it to look
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I asked you if you would make a video on how to organize makeup and it's so good to see that you actually read the comments and make videos we ask for : )

Great video!!! Big difference between the before and after! Just a few smalls changes = amazing results!
Thanks for the freezing tip :). I will try that!
Much much better looking at the end!! Awesome job!!!
Another great tip. My makeup is in a drawer and it needs HELP! I'm going to see if I can find some way to contain everything. Thanks for the motivation :)
use an empty tic-tac container for those loose bobby pins in your drawer :) (then you'll have even MORE space)
Ooo that's a great tip! I never would've thought of that & always trying to store them. TFS
perfunctorium I use an empty prescription pill bottle just the right size.
Fantastic job Kathryn! It looks great!
It does look much more pleasing to the eye. I don't like the rice because it's a bug magnet. I would use beads or something else for sure. Thanks for sharing!
Love your white cabinet to hold ur stuff. Very functional .
Yay :). I do try!
I saw a tip for bobby pins in a show where an expert organizer was giving tips, she showed us a magnetic box thats meant for paper clips, but could also be used for bobby pins, just if you'd like that idea :)

FABULOUS!!! I am really loving your earrings also..Too cute! Great to see you are doing well Mommie :)
I find that using bath salts can also be an inexpensive way too fill a jar to hold your brushes and mascara. Plus you can use the extras for baths.
Awesome. I was just trying to think of a way to organize my make-up. This is a big help.

And if you have any shelf space, perhaps you could use that for your other products? Just make sure to find slim containers for that :)
thanks Amy, that's a good idea!
Very very nice!!!!!!I love your videos !!!!!!greetings from greece!!!!!
VERY NICE ORGANIZATION TIPS, THANK YOU KATHERINE!
Only guests shower in there, so very little moisture. Plus all my makeup is from the drugstore.... I'm not that fancy. lol.

thanks for this video. i have things organised but unless the area still looks pretty then it still looks messy. love the rice idea!
Ahh! So nice! Can you do a cleaning oven or weekly planning vlog ? Thx
Love it! Empty tic-tac container is perfect for bobby pins ;)
Bobby pins work great in a magnetic paper clip dispenser/box thing that you put on your desk
Your so great with these organizational ideas. Wanted to let you know I found a 7 pcs drawer organizer for 3.98 at Walmart. My dollar store here in my area doesn’t have all the stuff that your area.
Great job! Very aesthetically pleasing! It just makes you feel like saying aaaaaaah, sigh!
magnetic strips! Now, why didn't I think of that? Awesome tips! Thank you :)
Just liked you in Facebook! Congrates! I think some really fun videos are coming up!!
I got one of those little drawer towers at dollar tree. I dont have a ton of makeup so it actually fits like 99% of it except what i have with me like in my purse or whatever.
I like your ideas. One suggestion, place a piece of magnet in the bottom and it helps control your bobby pins & hair pins. I have mine sorted.
I'm definately borrowing some of your ideas - brilliant! Thanks so much :D
I, too, am feeling a bit overwhelmed by my makeup even though it is organized. Thanks for the tips!
Love your earrings!
Maybe you can use an empty shot glass to hold you Bobbi pins or empty altoid container. I can see then rolling around when you open your drawer. Nice ideas :)
