I have been using premuim for 2 years, family plan, my kids seem to like using dads account because they hate being restricted on youtube kids and like a lot of tubers who game which isn't always kid friendly. My biggest gripe is that youtube doesn't add a streaming service and instead gives us a very lame renting service. I think youtube should move into streaming tv shows
i feel this! I used to have youtube TV and it was fine but too expensive and didn’t really fit our needs. It’s a great resource for having regular TV but it’s not a defined streaming service. I would definitely be open to a better streaming service or like a members only part of youtube where you can buy additional content. Great point, thanks for your comment!

Surprisingly, I don't watch as much as I used to! I now listen to a lot of Lofi Music, AGT Clips, Lifestyle content.

Presenters are now putting their own loud obnoxious log winded ads on youTube premium right in the middle of the video. I resent this immensely and I wish some other premium subscribers would join me in protesting. I have asked these presenters and UA-cam to stop doing this as I pay $13 a month for it. That’s considerably more than I pay for Netflix. It’s infuriating. I don’t mind if they are selling their own merch lik t-shirts but without ads. These are actual, very loud obnoxious ads for products and I am sure these characters are getting paid handsomely for it.
wow this is so interesting to hear! I honestly haven’t seen an ad on youtube in a really long time since I’ve had youtube premium for 4+ years. I agree, $13 is a bit pricey. My student account time just ended so I’m now at that new price. It is higher than netflix but in terms of the amount of content you have access to, I feel like it is considerably more valuable. It’s good to know that this is happening and thank you for your comment and bringing awareness!!
So how does premium work for UA-camrs? Because if I don’t have to watch the commercials how are content creators “paid”? I did that in quotes on purpose because I realize content creators make little on those ads.
