Today's video is all about my experience switching to Spectrum Mobile and how it has fared compared to major competitors. I switched from Verizon to Spectrum and it has been a WORLD of a difference. This is not a sponsored experience, it truly is my own honest thoughts and I hope you have found it helpful!

I just switched to Spectrum Mobile from Verizon and I’m going to be paying $110 less per month.

So I called spectrum mobile. Spectrum uses verizon towers. So I asked about priority (if you don't know different plans have priority during tower congestion), and Verizon direct will always be first, but spectrum is next. So the boost mobiles, etc that you'll see cheap and in walmart or whatever will have lower priority to spectrum. Additionally, the fees/taxes are built into the Spectrum plan pricing instead of it being additional with Verizon. If that helps anyone!

There's 1 aspects you failed to consider, Spectrum's massive amounts of wifi hotspots available throughout the country on top of Verizon's.
They just use the Verizon towers
I switched to Spectrum as well. Saved about $45 a month. Just money wise its a better deal. The service is good here. Super cute video by the way.

it’s worth trying! And if it doesn’t work for your area or what you need, it’s contract free and easy to switch back :) plus most major carriers will be begging for you back lol. I was hesitant too because I had always had “major” carrier service but for the price and quality, I’m glad for the switch! let me know how you like it if you do!

US cellular is the same for me in terms of prices jumping up. unknown why, spectrum may do the same soon due to spectrum leasing their service through Verizon
@@KDlGG sorry to hear it keeps jumping up for you! What’s good is Spectrum told me my holiday price was locked in for two years. So even if it goes up, I can expect to have it this way for a little while longer at least! thanks for your comment

@@sleepmachine7522 personally I love it, I have 5g almost everywhere surprisingly, never had that before from my last carrier. Cheapest priced service I’ve ever had and I’ve had 0 issues
Well let me ask you how is your service now? Because I have spectrum mobile and now it's just crappy the internet takes too long to load now I dropped my phone and the back is shattered a little bit but I don't know if that messed up the antenna or not what I'm saying is my service sucks now
Sorry to hear that your service isn’t as good! I so far am not having many issues with it at all. I also want to note I have an older phone (iphone 12 pro max) but I also don’t update my phone because I find it affects the quality of my experience and that’s usually how I make my phones last longer. It’s like phones get slower when they’re updated on purpose. I’m not sure if that could contribute to your experience but to answer your question, my service is still pretty good. But if you feel it’s an issue, I’ve heard Mint Mobile is really good too! If that doesn’t fix your experience, def could be a phone issue. Thanks for your comment!
Spectrum writes on the Verizon network, but they also manage the service a little bit different. They just the extra usage onto the Verizon network.❤

im considering switching to them from T-Mobile but if you're getting the 30 dollar a month line for 2 years that sounds like a steal, however they're only offering 1 year now?! Wtf! Still a good deal but i want 2. lol

I live in Texas ❤ we have Spectrum internet Wi-Fi for the tv. And I have Cricket wireless I honestly love Cricket. And I love watching your videos. Thank you for your videos. We have Spectrum internet Wi-Fi but my parents have Spectrum mobile and do not like it. But honestly the Spectrum internet is good. I looked into this and spectrum will raise the price after a year. Also you have to be a spectrum customer that has internet service with them. I got tired of Verizon wireless network going down in my area. Right now I have T-Mobile and I paid $25.38 which includes tax

@@dani5612 hmmm I haven’t experienced that but it might depend where you live! Honestly though for the price, switching is so worth it. If it doesn’t work out, you’re not in a contract so you can def find an alternative. But dude, the money saved is so worth it!!
Just as a heads up, the BOGO line deal has been going on for a while and that’s a 12 month promotion. The 2yr promotion you mentioned is likely for your internet, some addresses have 2yr price promos instead of the national 1yr rate

Ive never had a problem their customer service. Now i use to have outages frequently ɓut now its gotten better. I do get 4 bars. And mobile is great as wellll. I get longer waits and more hassel with tmobile customer service than spectrum. Spectrum works at my job and with tmobike its one bar.

watching this right now trying to see which other company to go to since verizon keeps screwing me and my boyfriend. out bill was about 150 or so when we started now it’s 298. i hate verizon as a business so much, im absolutely going to try spectrum because im tired of this verizon joke.
literally me - I was so tired of feeling like I got taken advantage of. $300 for a phone bill is absurd. Regardless of where you end up, I hope you find something better for sure!!

So it's $30/mo unlimited even if you bring your own phone? I'm with mint mobile and pay 30/mo unlimited so if that's true I'd switch for sure.
I brought my own phone and currently pay $30 per month for two lines because I got some kind of special. But yes generally $30 per mo per phone for unlimited everything. I’d call to see if they have any specials for switching, might be cheaper!

Spectrum Mobile sent me two broke phones and then charged me $100 to send them back.. They say it's a restocking fee, so they can send that crap to you..

Paid off my iPhone 14 Pro Max and switching to Spectrum. Having both cable, internet and mobile for under $200 a month is a steal.

@@KindlyChristina Didn't like paying off $550 but it will be worth it in the long run. I got a deal for $10 a month for 1 year then it will be $30 a month. I also get $500 in trade in value flat price; no scam like Verizon where they take your device and apply incremental trade in amounts per month.
@@millabasset1710 i get that, just the freedom from their systems and programs is worth being paid off and done. $10 a month is incredible and well worth it. I experienced the same scammy incremental raises and inexplainable charges. The mental sanity within itself is pure gold.

Interesting enough , Verizon is the backbone for spectrum. They basically use Verizon towers.

Spectrum use Verizon towers!! TWC who's now Charter-Spectrum service most Verizon Cell Towers so I'm not understanding why the Verizon service was spotted!!?

@@KindlyChristina I will admit, I see a lot of negative reviews and I have no idea why. My service feels roughly the same. Maybe slightly worse than Verizon’s top tier plan, but it’s NOT. WORTH. THE. PRICE. Spectrum is truly good enough. Thanks for your video. Watched before switching.

Don't get it it's crap and they charge and throw hidden charges it's absolutely not even worth it I had a Verizon line and this one and spectrum couldn't even get a single were Verizon was good everywhere
Funny since spectrum uses verizons network. Must have been the phone you had. Different phones can pick up better signals than others.

If you do work where u cant get wifi and use alot of data this isnt for you lol i used 30g in 12 days smh now internet and apps take forrrever 🐢🐢to load

That’s correct. Spectrum is an MVNO that uses the Verizon network.

Here in California, Spectrum is not good at all. Slow internet, low reception mobile signal.
