It lacks the trust and familiarity that develops with someone you see often before dating. maybe it's someone who waits for the bus with you, someone in a class you're taking, or a friend of a friends you develop a spark with after a party or two.
All apps just want your money, is for business not on a love connection in other words looking for love in the wrong places.
Why’s anyone dating behind their computers in 2024? What’s wrong with people approaching people in real life? Why are people afraid of each other.? People are out of touch in this part of the world it’s sad! How won’t you all be burnt out stuck to your devices swiping up and down like lunatics. Step out and meet people in real life!
The main problem with dating apps is that everyone has unrealistic expectations. For example, most women will filter for men taller than the average, and most men will filter for women skinnier than the average. This results in 10% of the population getting 90% of the attention (and lies) -no wonder people are disappointed.
If everyone quit Social Media apps at the same time our country would be a lot better off.
Looks like men are finally walking away from the bs of "modern" dating 👍
im bettin that in a decade ai dating will go mainstream, then dating real people won't be necessary
Refused then and I refuse to participate in it now
Stay single folks ..no stress no drama
Your right
Lmao. The dating apps are trash. But they're only trash cos of the people on them.
4:12 is bang on. All the "solutions" suggested at the end of the video will not help btw
If you are realistic and not too self-absorbed, dating apps can be great. After about a year of occasionally dating, burning out, and taking a break for a few months, then trying again, i finally met my wife. Married 17 years now. Dont try for a 9 when you are a 6, and you'll be happier.
Hey 6
I call BS on this.
You are giving advice from dating apps almost 20 years ago, back when these current issues were not a thing back then.
How do you compare tinder to ' lava life ' or whatever you used
17+ years? And one year of trying to date? Okay, so you're admitting that you are not deeply aware of the modern dating scene, strategies, standards.
You're speaking conventional wisdom that isn't to be totally ignored, but nothing there was an insight on how things are for young to middle adults in the early 2020s. Society does change, just as what you did in late 00's being rather different from how it worked in say, the 1980s, or the 80s compared to the 60s. The world works differently now and even 'truisms' don't apply so truly after generational changes with online dating have become a norm.
Can't wait for VR dating 😂 finally a chance for them to get to know the real me 🤣
Hashtag "the future is here!"
Nice try. I’m not getting back on
This segment illustrates how shallow, desprite, and morally challenged our society has become.
