Dude I ever get a big bonus and my wife doesn't find out I want to support you man! I didn't know you did all of this by yourself and seeing pictures of you and your girl make me want to buy from you than a bigger company. It is awesome that you have done all of this on your own learning from working in a shop.

Tomorrow my Turn Racing R8 Wheel will arrive:) It's so awesome what Zach achieved by his own. I'm sure he's doing fine but I wish him the Best success with his company.

I really appreciate this video. I don't think most new business owners would post a video outlining their struggles and how they run. I too run a small business where I'm doing manufacturing in my home and I go through the same thing of wanting to buy new equipment or injection molding but not wanting to have too much cash out the door. So I have to weigh is it worth it to invest in certain pcs of equipment and or what I should do myself. Your operation is much more involved though. I ordered a rim from you yesterday can't wait to get it.

those shop tours always amazes me. I would like to ask, any chance one day you'll make a universal 70mm hub plate for round rims? that would be great I think :)
anyway, I think you are the only one in that industry that can match being on the high-end side of the market and at the same being so open about your work, haven't seen anybody who's available to show the making process of his products in every detail and also talk about the overall mentality of a company. and you said something really important to me : there is no patent in this market, all has already been done before, therefore the added value of the product lies in the trust one can build with the customer..that is something that too much other players of the market have forgotten, or even never really learned.
    keep it up man :)

Great stuff man. A wheel with a laser etched track outline on it would be cool.
Maybe those caps can be interchangeable depending on the track your driving.

Do you still feel like it’s not a scalable market? Definitely not interested in a career change but with the explosive growth in the past couple months, I imagine you are busier than ever.
Thanks for being so generous with your knowledge. Excited to follow you and your progress.

Thanks Jay! I do think there is a lot of opportunities in the market right now, but it has to be done in a smart way. Either by being sharp and bootstrapping or starting with really deep pockets. Unfortunately for me I have to make my model be profitable right now as it's what I live off. There are a lot of recent startup companies that hemorrhage cash to hopefully make a profit down the line and I just don't have that option. The advantage to me is I have very little debt and own 100% of the business 😊

@@TurnRacing Totally makes sense. I'm sure you've been asked this before so you can just direct me to your answer, but how did you get started in this? What's your professional background?
Engineering has always been something that just tickles the perfect part of my brain. I feel like if I'm not doing what I do now and enjoy it, I'd want to do this type of design and engineering.

You should go back to school and get an engineering degree. Oh and get a business, shipping manager. Also a lot of the machining on aluminum and carbon fibre plate should be out sourced for sure. Hand machining is an enormous time waster.
