      Pretty reckless though, that probably indirectly led to her death. He tipped the media off before the cops arrived because they were taking a while which led to them seeing it on the news and starting the pursuit. They probably would’ve got them in hotel like they planned with Vicky still alive if he didn’t do that. He directly says they only flee because they saw the news story

    I work in the department of corrections. They drill this kind of stuff into you from the beginning till retirement. The amount of people who form relationships is alarming you hear about it monthly. Women guards pregnant. Female inmates pregnant. Brining in large amounts of drugs phones etc, Slowly over time. Making it look like they beat you up and stole your keys to escape. Men leaving wives when a female inmate is about to get out. List goes on and on. It's constant.

      Alot of prisoners, especially the ones in for life, are very manipulative and know how to get people to do what they want. He was 100% using this woman who I assume was lonely or lacking in her life somehow and he wormed his way right into that vulnerability and told her everything she wanted to hear to get her to do what he wanted. Had they lived he would have either offed her or abandoned her somewhere when she was no longer useful

    So the car wash guy calls and says 1 i saw the guy and he's on camera 2. He abandoned the F150 and jumped in the car with a woman 3. The cops show up the NEXT DAY. 4. Cops did not share the information with detectives for FOUR DAYS. Multiple people should be fired.

    He manipulated her, and convinced her he loved her. He used her to get out of jail, and was planning to kill her, and move a long way from the prison. She probably had thousands of dollars in bags, from the sale of her house. He would have used that to live off, and move into a property miles away from anyone.

    As a DOC employee I can tell you that she shouldn’t have even been able to get him out of the door. There’s no such thing as as a Ofc taking any inmate to a “Drs” appointment alone.
    Inmates go through rigorous transportation processes before they can even leave the compound for medical emergencies.

      Being a former officer this must be one of those country bumpkin county jails that allows officers to make their own rules as they go. I never seen an inmate get transported to any appointment alone without a double escort. The whole jail should have been investigated and fired.
