@@WillyFish Well I didn’t see ya but I didn’t stray far from the rocky area near the dock and restroom because we were doing so good. Got 22 in 3 hours.
Welcome aboard! You will enjoy Newport. Great place to go crabbing. I haven't crabbed their in a long time. On my list for a future video on the channel!
You know those crab are toxic once they touch an Oregon Ducks bucket! Seriously though, talk to your uncle about ditching the floating yellow line for sinking line. All that rope sitting on the surface is just waiting to get into your prop, or someone else's. Glad you guys had fun and something to eat.
Jon Ramos agreed on the rope. I gave him the same feedback. It’s a huge risk, especially since some folks just don’t pay attention and run over lines all the time.
@@ongta1265 absolutely. I heard a week ago in one of the Oregon bays someone ran over 3 crab lines from different pots and folks lost their traps. Safety first out there!
Hahaha boy they are some fighters🤣😂🥰
🤣
Been crabbing there for about 19 years. Headed out Saturday hoping for the best.
Awesome! Best of luck this weekend! I may even see you down there!!!
