Wild and Wonderful West Virginia Junkyard Exploration Part 1

We go to Napier Auto Parts in Wayne West Virginia. Garland Napier has owned and operated this junkyard for over 50 years. It’s very difficult to find places that haven’t crushed the old vehicles when scrap was high. We made this in two long parts. This had a mixture of ages and a lot that have been forgotten. 46:33 It's a 49 Dodge Coronet. I own a 50 the same color with 230 flathead # L head 6 cylinder. Only difference is taillights and trunk lid. The fluid drives are cool to drive The Gyromatics trans.with the solenoids are a pain to work on when they breakdown. Every part for that 230 flathead is still available . Nos parts and High performance parts, intakes ,cams heads etc .I have used Nos Military parts to rebuild them . M43 -M37 Dodge trucks and ambulances Korean War era, #like used on M*A*S*H* used the same engine. Those old flatheads are fun to hop up.
