The front wheels can come loose realistically easy, but the rear wheels are much sturdier. So it's possible, but unlikely you'd ever see it happen unless you deliberately tried to make it happen.

The damage can be set to either 'full' or 'simulation'. This was all done on 'simulation' damage so is as realistic as it gets. But to be fair, even grazing the wall at a track like Monaco can cause a wheel to come off, so it's more realistically sensitive than this video may make it seem.
I want wheels flying out, it was a great moment in video games with wheels flying out, making the disaster worst, realistic or not, fun needs to come to take out the boredom.

The reason why crashes suck so much is because FOM doesn't let Codemasters to do a crashing mechanic where the name of the sponsors' do not seem cuz the cars are crashed so hard. Yes, this is fucking ridicolous and shit and thats huge idiotism from them, but thats the level we are at. Look at GRID, Codemasters can do really good crashing mechanics. At their F1 games, they are just simply not allowed.
at least 75% was purposely made crashes so i turned off before the end, in my opinion you should record another crash video using only naturally made crashes even if this takes a month or so to do it can still be done xP i hope yo take my advice to make a better video

Not asking for rolling cars or anything (they sure looked cool in GP4), but this is awful car physics, man. This is just another racing game with great graphics and terrible, terrible physics.

If you take a model out of its boundaries you will end up with strange outcomes. When you crash with full speed in F1 2016 the crashes will not look as realistic as they should when you go 300kph. That's the sacrifice the developers make in order to have more realistic crashes at slower speeds. That's why it is completely stuipid to "test" like that and the video isn't even enjoyable to watch because it looks incredibly stupid.

All realistic damage mods have done in previous F1 games is increase the sensitivity that the car sustains damage. As the sensitivity is not and issue in this game, the mod would be pointless. If you want rear wings breaking and more damage to the car's body, I don't see any mod rectifying that.
its sad when the game is more fun to WATCH then the real F1... I mean you could also play the game but that surely wouldnt be as much fun as driving a real F1 car... ;-)
