Not only that but it is full of glitches and newbie mistakes. Cars are supposed to be SOLID objects, yet, when you crash in this game, the wheels are consistently going inside the car, plus the physics are totally unrealistic. Again, as much as I love F1 games, Codemasters may be the worst developers ever. I have made games a lot better than this and my studio does not even develop any AAA games.

difficulty is set too low, and try to do the same with full distance without any ABS and TC. But your video give a good idea of the quality of this game ( and not its challenge ) thanks for that ;-)
iRacing fan commenting here... I remember the 1st F1 grand prix and it is still better than all the sequels. This is too arcade-ish for me... basically: player starts at 13th... at the first corner player is at 8th (5 AIs are true gentlemen and seem to open up for player to pass through) player goes from 8th to 7th using a divebomb tactic. player goes from 7th to 6th ysing a divebomb tactic. player goes from 6th to 5th using a divebomb tactic. player goes from 6th to 4th using a divebomb tactic. player goes from 4th to 3rd using a divebomb tactic. player goes from 3rd to 2nd using a divebomb tactic. player goes from 2nd to 1st using a divebomb tactic. Player has no penalty for taking extremely bad lines in the rain, he can make up for speed to his opponent in front before the next corner comes. consoles suck for racing sims. this game helps a lot in the sucking too.
They should really improve those graphics. Look at the driver's legs, how white are they in a place that's kinda hidden from the sun. Look how black is the steering wheel. Looks like it was made in paint.
It does look nice. The AI doesn't look great, you can easily put your car under the car in fronts back wheel and they yield the corner without any fight at all. Ok, the Honda in real-life wouldn't be able to out perform anything fast let alone the way it cut through the pack, but it is a game. Otherwise you'd only be able to drive the Merc to guarantee the win, or possibly the Redbull or Ferrari, and that would be pretty boring.
***** If you try driving the formula a car in project cars you'll feel the difference in the drive from the f1 games. i played F1 2015 and i kinda felt it played arcadey including the handling while the formula a car felt quite realistic so im not sure f1 2016 would be a sim tbh

Looks nice but the water dropplets resting on the race car are static. I real life I think the wind would be blowing that Shiz off of there.

The AI is too soft, they back out of every single fight.
Because the difficulty is so on Expert. On Legend and Ultimate i can confirm they even crash into you and give less room.

F1 2016 is an arcade game like any other codemasters F1 game.. but it is fun to play.
