Just what I have been waiting for! Brilliant review, very detailed, and great to hear from three perspectives, thanks! Tempted to get the Pro 4 now, seems a pair of racing shoes that is a bit less aggressive and can handle different types of pace.
been waiting for someone to make this video! thanks
great comparison, thanks ! Also love the new transition music
I have the Speed 3 and Pro 3. For me.. Pro 4 fit wide (forefoot) feet better. Looks like V4 is the same.
I think if you take into account Price + Performance + Versatility, nothing comes close to Endorphin Pro 3 today. You can use if for anything really (tempo paces, race day, even daily training if you want). It's light, confortable, stable, it doesn't feel weird at any speed, and you can find it on sale at great prices. The only problem it has is the durability of the outsole. The upper and the midsole are super durable, but the outsole will start to degrade a bit too soon. I think it could last 500 miles or more if you don't mind the outsole losing some grip and ending completely flat.
Great review, thanks! I have the speed 3 in my normal size but I just bought the pro4 a half size up because I could feel my left big toe touching the front and upper and I’m concerned it would get painful running a full marathon like that.
How's it been 3 weeks on, having sized up?
I have a marathon in 3 weeks (Brighton) and so tempted by the Pro 4s but I already have a new pair of Adios Pro 3s with only 9 miles in them so can’t justify
How did the adidad pro 3s go for ya , they seem to be a gr8shoe
Have had the EP 1, 2 and 3.
3 is prob one of my favorite running shoes.
I tried EP4 on today and found the medial sides of my feet over pouring and found it really noticeable.
I still use ES3s and love them but I won't be buying these this year which makes me sad.
I recently got the Novablast 4 and am smashing miles, the upper is superb.
Asics may steal me away.
Gone for Asics Superblast rather than Speed 4 and already had Alphafly 3 so Pro 4 not on my radar and, to be fair, I think the Asics Metaspeed Sky Paris would be a better choice for me anyway.
I just came back into training last year and after a new marathon pb last september with 1:19 in my brooks ghost 15 which already had about 900km on (i never cared about shoes at all) I just wanted to try some new ones and ran 1:15 in the speed 4 last week. thinking about trying a carbon plated shoe just to try out if it will push me a bit more, but I dont know if its necvessary. Theyre hella pricey xD (and I just paid 200 euros for the speed 4 here in germany)
I just need to know what strap is that on the Garmin at 5:40
What’s with the new music?
i want sc elite v4 vs endorphin pro4
They destroyed the Speed line because they made that plate stiffer. I want the Speed 2 produced again!!
Which is more stable?
Got both in usual size… the toe box is more accommodating in the Pro 4, while the aggressive taper in the Speed 4 toe box is too uncomfortable for me. The length is normal/generous, it’s just too pointy. Ruins a great shoe for me.
How does the Pro 4 compare to the Edge Paris?
Edge Paris more aggressive and less stable. Much more of a race day shoe. EP4 has become a decent long run training shoe or a stable cruiser for racing at slower paces.
I wish the pro 4 had a removable sock liner. Also wish it flareded up around heel instead of cut off flat.
Puma Deviate Nitro Elite v2 is one of the few racers with a removable liner.
Fantastic reviews. Just need to change up the depressing transition music 😅
as a 5:30/km pace racer would you go speed 4 or pro 4?
Kinvara
Speed 4 is what I want speed 1 to be.
Guess the shift was so bad indeed that they discontinued 😂
My favorite shoe. Different strokes for different folks.
Take a breath 😂
Yep. Dude talks too fast!
Why this music😂
Hahaha, was thinking the same thing! It’s like each section is about to discuss something really tragic 😂
@@KevinBrianlol my exact thought!
I love the Puma Deviate Nitro 2 as my daily trainer. How do you think they compare to the Speed 4?
