my brother got his forehead in that area caved in and has a mesh titanium screen there and the slash cut from that whole area hanging off as a flap down to the middle of the nose on one side, all flapped off, dripping blood, and just got up and called the ambulance on his own. it happened from a sheet metal car bumper swung at medium power from an above angle downward
I've seen that shit happen in person it's pretty disturbing

Call me old school, bu I HATE that in MMA, fighters are allowed to pound the opponent's head into the canvas once they are down.
Even if they aren't unconscious.
It may make you feel better to know that surprisingly from what I last seen, in MMA there is actually less brain trauma than there is in boxing. The standing ten count actually can make things worse, getting rattled and recovering over and over. I'm not sure if this is factual but look it up yourself, make your own judgement on the topic. It may relieve you a bit, though you'll probably still hate it or at least dislike it.
Most off times it’s cause off bad refs , it’s not the norm !! They see to late that they are out.
