The fighters do not have each other under control and would kill the opponent if no one intervenes.
Heads are hit on the concrete, elbows are hit on the temple, vital organs are consciously and specifically attacked...
I'm a fan of martial arts, but the focus has to be that the sport is in the foreground and not the fact that the fighters would almost kill each other if no one intervened.

Reminds me of the Karate fighter that kicked the Sumo guy's tooth out in the 1st fight in UFC 1. That douche did something similar to a Japanese fighter later in his career.
